Before Elsa could say anything else, Ralph kissed her.
It was light Some would have argued that it wasn't a kiss, it was just a brush on the lips. Yet Elsa knew, Ralph wasn't the kind of guy who rushed into something that would scare people away. It didn't even last that long. But Elsa had met his lips with her own quick-timed, small, pecks.
It was small like his, but it conveyed something she had wanted to do and say for a while.

The kiss didn't last for more then five seconds and yet that space of time seemed endless for Ralph. As he felt Elsa's lips lightly pressing on his, as he felt her warmth and tasted the peppermint oil on them, all his doubts disappeared. Things might have not worked out for them that first time but that didn't mean it couldn't still happen.
Yes, they had fought and seen each other at their worst. Yes they had said hurtful things and gone their separate ways in anger and frustration. Yes, neither of them had expected that they might somehow come back together even though their feelings for each other lingered. And yet despite all that here they were now.
And if Ralph had still doubted that he and Elsa could truly ever love each other again, the answer was given in that simple kiss.
And the answer was yes. Yes they could.
