A bodyguard? He hadn't considered that modeling would be that intense of a job. He had only assumed that bigger stars would get a perk like a bodyguard. The boy hadn't thought about the idea of fans and media being that pushy. The idea of saying no was tempting but then he would have to explain that escaping from such problems was a cinch with his powers, but that involved a lot more questions.
"I mean I won't say no, I didn't think that it would get that bad to be honest." Sure, he was a little bit ignorant at the idea of people like models and superstars.

"Agreste Fashion Industries is pretty high end in the fashion world," Adrien admitted. "And... I may have done some things in the recent media that would put a newer model in the spotlight. Everyone is going to want to know who is replacing me."
He had blown up in the news. Telling the reporters to leave Yang and his sister Namine alone or else he would take legal action. He didn't care about reporters following him, but he had caught a few snooping around his house, trying to snap pictures of when he had visitors. Namely of the sister that he did not name in the interview. But he didn't want Namine to be swarmed by reporters. They were rude and relentless. They had gotten Yang to the point of punching one of them out. But someone like Namine who was timid by nature, she wouldn't have the resolve to do something like that.
"That being said, you wouldn't be alone in this. I do intend on hiring other models so you can have a social life," Adrien smiled.

Wally had heard about the boy's father's passing but the way Adrien spoke, there was much more going on. It was not his business to pry into a model's business. Adrien hadn't pried into his past, the least Wally could do was not pry into his his. "I work well with others, at least that's what people have said anyways." He smiled brightly. Feeling the worry from before going away. Adrien was putting a lot in trust with him. He could do it.
"You wouldn't regret giving me this chance."

"You do seem determined," Adrien mused.
It would be a bit of a risk hiring someone with no modeling experience. However, Adrien had done crazier things, like put on a leather suit and go about helping out in the city. What Wally lacked in experience in modeling matters, he made up for in determination and charisma. He would probably be quite charming in front of any paparazzo that tried to get in his way. Win the people over to prevent them from disliking him. He would probably be good at fan meet and greets too. Even if he probably had no real interest in explaining the difference between satin and chiffon.
"When would you like to start?"

Wally couldn't help but smirk at that. He had been told he was a bit too determined to the point of being reckless. Being a masked hero probably contributed to that behavior. Maybe it was a good thing to sign up for a job like this, it could help him be a little more calm. He needed the money if he wanted to keep living like he was. "I can start as soon as you'd like. I am pretty free."

Adrien chuckled. Wally was very eager it seemed. He got up from his desk and went over to one of the bookshelves. He grabbed an envelope and opened it up. Inside was paperwork for hiring and the listed benefits package. His models were going to make a killing on their work for him. He just wanted to make sure that they would be happy in their newfound positions. He felt accomplished for having hired someone. He had only been looking for the last two months. He brought the envelope back over to the desk and set it down in front of Wally.
"We can have you meet our tailor tomorrow morning for your first fitting." Adrien said. "This envelope holds everything you'll need to get the hiring process expedited."

Wally felt better than ever now. Any fear was erased by excitement. It helped that Adrien was pretty easy going, as bad as it was that his father had died, Adrien was trying to do his best despite his young age. How much pressure was on him was probably more than it had ever been on Wally. He had to admit that it impressed him. Wally wasn't sure about the other models but he knew that he could do it and wouldn't let Adrien down. He would make sure that the other didn't regret giving him a chance.
"Great. I can't wait." he said smiling.

"And you won't need to worry, the first few shoots I'll be there to show you how things work," Adrien reassured.
He had already run the background check on Wally. Everything was clean. Good hard working kid who was apparently determined to face whatever challenges came his way. Except that Adrien was going to be turning him into an overnight celebrity. The work could be hard. There was a constant pressure to stay fit and in 'model' shape. Even Adrien, despite not doing the whole photo shoot things as much, still made sure to set time aside in his day to keep active. It was hardwired into him at that point. A hard habit to break.
"I'll also be looking to hire someone else," he explained, "That way you have a social life. Because trust me, this work will eat at you."

Wally nodded, that made sense. He didn't know much about modeling but at some point he knew that they had to at least have the perfect figure that could be a problem, staying in shape wasn't going to be a problem, his hero activity may be off slightly but it probably wouldn't be too much of a problem, Wally could hope. "Thank you."
