Ah. So that was it. She was a secret from everyone but her brother. That was something at least. A good thing. The idea of more news no matter how serious it was coming for Adrien was not good. He could really see the press taking something as innocent as having a new sister into something more serious and even scandalous was horrible to think about. "Don't worry, your secret is safe with me."

"A few people know." she said with a reassuring smile. "But we just found out. The only people we don't want to find out is the media... Adrien's gone through enough, especially with his dad just passing away."
That was something Namine had learned. The media were like sharks. If they could smell blood in the water, they went for the kill. Adrien didn't deserve to get dragged through the ringer again. He was already getting flack from some media outlets because he was dating a cop. Yang was the sweetest woman that Namine knew. They were super cute together too.

"Well, don't worry I won't be telling the media anything. Cross my heart." Wally said, crossing his heart with his fingers.
The last thing he wanted to do was give his boss and his family trouble. He liked Adrien and the other had given the jobless teen an actual job. Even as Kid Flash he had yet to really talk to the media, be in and be out. No need for trouble unless someone managed to get a picture or two. Which happened quite a bit. His heart pulled at the mention of Adrien's father passing. He knew exactly what that meant. To lose a family member hurt. A lot. "How is he holding up? Losing a family member isn't...easy."

Namine looked away. "Adrien... wasn't close with his dad..."
It bothered her in some part how distanced Adrien had been from the whole thing. But considering what she heard about Agreste Senior, the man wasn't exactly overflowing with fatherly affection. He saw Adrien more as an employee and a spokesperson than an actual living, human being. Adrien had even kept his powers hidden from him. Because his father was anti-magic. It wasn't a healthy way to live. At least Namine knew about her power and was now trying to figure out how best to use it for the advantage of those who needed it. Adeline had helped encourage that.

Wally nodded slightly, understanding. He wasn't that close with his father, at least not that he could remember. It had been him and his mom. That was all he needed, however, the idea of losing any of his family was hard, no matter if they were close or not. "That sounds rough," he said rubbing his neck awkwardly. "Sorry to bring it up. He's a good guy though,so I want to help him if I can."

Namine smiled. "I think the best thing you can do is just keep being yourself."
Wally seemed sweet. Adrien could use a friend like him. Thoughtful, sweet, hard working. If Namine were to be bold she would suggest a boy's night out, but she didn't want to interfere with things. That would be too presumptuous of her. Still, she thought it would do them both some good to get out a bit more. Adrien was a shut in unless it involved Yang. Namine blamed his upbringing under his father. Stifled so that he wasn't allowed to go out unless it was for work. Wally was shy, not nearly as much as she used to be but it was telling there were two introverts talking to one another. Whether it was because he was naturally shy or if it was because she worried him by being his boss' sister, she wasn't sure yet. He was polite.

Being himself was really the best thing Namine could ask for. He couldn't very well help Adrien through his powers or using science. He liked the Agreste family and if he could help in anyway he could then he would. Wally wanted to at least be someone that either of them could come to if they had a problem, work or family. He wasn't a psycharist but sometimes being a good friend meant lending an ear or a shoulder to cry on.
"If there is anything else I can do to help though, let me know." Wally continued, "I may not look it but I am a great helper."

Namine giggled. Yes, she was certain that Adrien and Wally would get along together. They were the easily charismatic type and friendly types. The two of them in the same room seemed like a lot of fun, plus Namine wanted her brother to have fun. He was better than she was at it, but he still suffered from seriousness of 'getting work done' because he tried to be the do all be all boss of the company.
"I'm sure!" she confirmed. "You've done so much already. I'm not sure if you knew, but before he hired you, Adrien was the only one who did the modeling. Now he doesn't have to do things alone."

Wally had not known that. It hadn't come up in the interviewing, not that he had expected anything like that. Adrien's life was his own business but it was a shock to know that he had done it all on his own. That had to be hard on him, and having to have had such a rough patch with his dad.
"I was able to at least take some pressure off of him then," he said shrugging with a smile. "I owe him a lot, before this gig I was just running around doing odd jobs for people so I guess in a way it makes us even."

They stood to gain from helping one another out. That was the way things should be. Thankfully Wally hadn't been like many of the 'applicants' who only wanted to cash in on the family name. He had needed a job to keep his own life stable. Not everyone was like Adrien and loaded with more money than he knew what to do with. Namine knew that from her own personal experience.
"I'm glad things have been working out for you."

Wally didn't want to get into how much Adrien's job offer meant to him and what it had done for his life. Since the job, Wally could afford food that wasn't instant noodles and soda, true, while the agency got most of the money, Wally was at least thankful that he could get a decent meal out of it (and his mom would have been thankful to.) "They have, and if you do ever need more help from a fellow model slash friend, I'm your guy. I can get there in no time flat."
He hated to see a family this close and friendly fall apart because of a family member passing or the press ruining their name. "I hope things do get better for you."

And it warmed her heart to know that Adrien had such good employees working for him. Employees and friends. Adrien seemed to surround himself with the best, whether it was intentional or accidental. He was just one of those bosses that was so kind you that you wanted to make him happy too. They were rare. Namine knew from experience. She liked having Adrien as a boss and as a sibling.
"Let me know if there's anything we can do for you too, okay?"
