As Meredith was walking aroudnd the area, it did seem a bit swampy compared to the rest of Bellerouge, but, it did seem like a good area to look around and explore, hoping that she would be able to find something that was at least interesting to find, so, she could at least journal it later on in her studies. She did hate the smell to it, but, it did seem that most creatures did appear around the area, and it was pretty risky on her part, but, it was at least better than not trying at all. She felt her feel step in some sort of goo, and she was grossed out by it, but, it was an interesting type of goo. She took a snapshot of it with her camera, and squints her eyes to at least take a closer look at it, in case there was a monster or a creature around the area. She was looking at it closely, and it did not look like creature evidence, but, she still needed to at least write it in her notes. She was looking for the nearest bench to sit down, so she could at least write it down so, she could do some futrther search on it, just in case it would be goo that would not be ordinary, since some areas could leave evidence of a crime that could be happening. After stepping in more of the swampy area, she sat down on the nearest bench and took out her camera to look at tbe goo and she squinted at it once again, and then, she took out her notebook to write some notes on it and described on the details on what was it was. As she was writing somethithing down in her notebook, she turned around, to make sure that no one was there. A couple of seconds later, she turned around again, hearing something, as she wa a bit skittish, making sure that it was a monster or any other creature that was tressassing the area. For defense, she took out her bow and arrow, and got herself in position, with a look of determination on her face. "Come out creature, wherever you are; I am not afraid of you." She called out, as she was ready to fight off this creature.

As Raven appeared out of the shadows , she 'd shakily offer Meredith her wallet"You dropped this back there..''Said Raven her eyes wide with fear, as if she was more afraid than fearsome herself, her body shook as she whimpered a little hoping the girl would take her wallet back , her eyes still wide with anticipation as it were , her hands folded around the wallet to offer it to the young woman , Raven seemed to just show up out of no-where, but she was sure it was Meredith's wallet, as she was the only other person in this swampy area.

She saw that she was looking up at her, and thought that she was a supernatural creature, and she recognized her face, and could right away, detect that it was a vampire, and she did admire vampires, thinking that they could not be so bad. By the way she acting, she could tell that she was scared; perhaps it was the way she worded her of a creature coming out, but, she was not sure that she was going to be approaching a creature that would be good or bad, so, she was cautious at least with her bow and arrow. Seeing that she was scared and heard, plus saw that she was giving back her wallet that she dropped, she looked up at her and raised up an eyebrow and slowly walked up to her. She saw that up close that she was scared as she saw that her body was shaking, and felt bad for her. She was not sure if she was not sure if she was attacked somewhat or she was scared in general. So, with a sigh and a soft smile, she took the wallet and looked up at her with a look of calmness. "Hey, it's ok. I am not going to hurt you. I was just trying to make sure that I was not going to get attacked by a creature while being here in the swampy area, which, indeed is quite dangerous. So, I have my bow and arrow to protect myself, incase that something does happen. I know that there are murders back and forth, so, I have to find a way to protect myself, and I am a junior researcher, so, I have to know about these things about what type of creature is approaching me. While being here, I still need to know about what kind of supernatural creatures are around the area, so, I know which ones are coming and which ones are not." She then looked at her closely, and could tell that she was a vampire just by the look of her eyes, but, wanted to make sure that she got it correct at least. "From what I can tell, you are a, vampire, correct?" She asked, with a small smile on her face, making sure that she got the creature right. She then looked inside her wallet, making sure that most of her money was still there, although she was only missing a couple of singles and some change, at least most of her money was there so, she could buy a book of creatures and at least write them down in her notes. "So, what is a creature like you doing around at this hour?" She asked, with a soft smile and sat on the bench and scooted over, so, she could sit down with her, and at least have a decent conversation with her.

"Actually...im not.''she'd say softly. opening her mouth to show she had no teeth."I am ...well its a long story.''Said Raven, her form watching her.she'd remove the hood on her head as she sighed deeply she looked like a young girl, the gem on her forehead, the leotard she wore, said she might've been in her teens. her eyes glanced about the area as she watched her curiously"What made you think im a vampire?"she'd ask gently.

As she was looking at the young creature, revealing that it was not a vampire, she cocked an eyebrow. Well, this was very strange and weird indeed. If she was not a vampire, then, what was she? She heard the young one trembling on her words on what she was trying to say, but, felt as though she didn't want to talk about it at the moment so, this would have to wait until later. "Hey, I understand, if you don't want to talk about it, you don't have to talk about your form." She responded, as she was slowly nodding her head, thinking her backstory could be somewhat tragic as to why she had this form, for now. She had no idea if she had an actual human form, but, didn't want to jump to conclusions and claim that she was a vampire. She saw that she took her hood off and Meredith raised an eyebrow again, thinking that she could be something else. She saw that the creature was looking at her, as though she was glancing, and Meredith did get a bit turned off by that and cocked an eyebrow again, but, she did seem not bad of a creature to talk to. She then saw that she was glancing around the area again and she felt as though it was very swampy indeed. "Well, you seem to like this type of area at this area, huh?" She asked, as she was questioning the creature, looking around the area. She then heard her asking a question, regarding her being a vampire. Well, that was awkward and Meredith gave off a small sigh, and the first thing that would come to mind as answer would be her clothing, but, that would be totally off topic; So, she had to take the risk and at least mention the clothing. "I guess it's the clothing and then you lurking in the shadows.." She replied, looking at her, and sighed, thinking that or would be a little offensive, as she heard her mentioning that she was not a vampire. "If you're not a vampire, then what are you?" She asked, raising an eyebrow at her, hoping to get some answers.

"Considerably, I would be close to a witch than anything else.''said Raven, her violet eyes looking up at Merediths eyes "Im quiet diffrent from vampires despite my similarities too them.''she would smile."For instance, I can walk in the sun and not be burned.''she'd touch her gemstone on her forhead now." and this helps me abit.control my powers you see..?" she would say .

"A witch? Interesting." She commented, as she was raising up an eyebrow; A witch in some place like this would be interesting and although Meredith knew on what a witch would look like, she didn't want to think that she would be one, and again, jump to conclusion. She saw that her eye color was quite unique, compared to other people that she saw in the area, but, thought that she would be interesting, if she was one. As she was listening, she was nodding, thinking that it unusual to hear that a witch, like her would walk in the sun and not get burned. That was very unusual, since most witches would get burned in the suns. "Ah, I see. I have to say, I never heard of a witch being burned in the sun before, I know that vampires do, but, a witch not being burned by sunlight alone, never heard of that." She commented, with a small shrug. She then heard her comment on some gemstone on her head, and raised both eyebrows in surprise. Having a gemstone on her head, did seem quite cool to see, and indeed, she was fascinated to know more about her "gemstone". "So, you have a gemstone on your head that does help you with your powers. Quite intriguing. But, what are you really? You can tell me. I won't tell anyone." She asked, with complete interest. Creature or not a creature, she would like to get know her a little more, and perhaps, getting to know her would not be so bad. Learning about powers would not only be fascinating, but, also very knowledgeable to learn about all sorts of them, so, she would know the difference between each one, even though that her book would, of course, have something in there regarding powers, learning about something from an actual creature would be better than what's going from the books.

Raven 's culture was closest to Wiccans and pagans after all, her hand rubbed the back of her neck nervously as she smiled at Meredith. "You could also call me a demon..if you want too. I mean , im not one but...I am close to one.'' she would say nervously , her eyes watching hers.

A wicca? Very interesting to hear indeed, as she heard of those, it was one of those people who were into witchcraft. She assumed that the young girl was more into believing into more of the supernatural creatures, and although Meredith was one of those girls who, personally didn't believe in those types of supernatural stories at all. She wanted to see on what they were in person, even though she knew that a couple of officers around the area would be able to differentiate those creatures from one another, depending on the type of crime it did. She scratched her chin on the thought of someone having the thought of having the knowledge of them, indeed. "Oh, a Wicca, eh? I heard of those going around the area. I know that they believe in those, supernatural stuff. I am, a researcher in those types of things, as I read a lot of books on them, and reading about them are really intriguing, I must say. I definitely have to grab a lot of inspiration to read to see on which ones did the crime and such. I may not be a BPD officer, but, I do sometimes work with them so, I can help them. I also may not be an expert as everyone else says that I am, but, I do know that not all creatures are bad," She commented, showing her a book so, she could see on what she is talking about. As she was about to turn to the page, on where she would give out a good example, she heard her mention something about her being close to a demon...? A demon? She looked up at her and raised an eyebrow. "Really, now? A demon? I don't think you look like one." She said, and pat her head gently. "You did a good deed though, by delivering a wallet. I don't think all demons would do something like that, as most of them, I guess do more bad things.." She didn't want to go on and hurt the poor girl, so, she just kept her mouth shut and handed her the book on what she was holding, so, she could look at the pictures, and words, so, Raven could see on what kind of creatures that she would look for if, she was a BPD officer, even though she's not close to one, being a junior detective would not be bad, as its not a boring job.
