Personality: Adeline is polite, but closed off. It takes a while for her to trust someone. She's very smart and mature for her age. She has a hard time talking about her problems and tends to try and solve things herself before asking for help. She's loyal to her loved ones, as well as very protective. When stressed, she struggles to control her emotions. This can make her do things like snap at people or cry at the drop of a hat.
Backstory: Adeline used to have a pretty good life. From an early age, teachers could tell she was bright. She soon became known as the smartest girl in her class, mastering almost all subjects she came across. It made her parents proud, but didn't do much good for her social status. Being the smartest kid in her class gave her the official label of "dork" and "nerd" so she was a frequent target for bullies. But that didn't stop Adeline. However, a few months back, she finally attempted something that was out of her league. She summoned a demon, thinking that she was powerful enough to pull it off. But, she was soon proved wrong. The demon that appeared was named Thrax, and he tainted Adeline by leaving a piece of his demon nature inside him. Since then, Adeline has had problems. Something dark is inside her, and this dark side can make her lash out at others and do bad things. She's afraid she might hurt those she loves, and she's also afraid that Thrax might find her again. Dealing with all this, plus school, was too much, so she's being tutored at home. Adeline just hopes that she can control her dark side, and that the police catch Thrax soon.
