Lilo wanted to go play outside yet she was scared to. She has been alone now and with no one to watch over her. She wanted to go play again be like a normal little girl. She walked over to the park ,but hid behind the bushes watching the other girls play. She held her little voodoo doll tightly. The city of crime seemed to have gotten worse.

Sunshine fanned herself with the electric buzzing device that she and the other cops carried when the humidity got too bad. The whiring of the plastic blades was the only noise she was tuning into, just looking at the rainbow hued feather in her hand. She had come to Raoul Park to investigate a clipping, or a homicide involving angels. The trail of feathers were said to have been sent here, and Sunshine volunteered to go ahead. Shadow was out doing interrogations. The blonde turned towards the playground, praying no traces of blood or angel feathers would be recognized.
What she found was Lilo, the little werekitten she and Shadow had rescued and brought to a street kid, who had sadly been put into custody for multiple cases of alcohol abuse. She looked sadder than in the bayou, embracing a green voodoo doll. Sunshine tucked the evidence in her bck pocket, putting on a soft semismile. "You sure you don't want to play with the kids, sweetheart?"

Lilo looked up at Sunshine and hugged her doll tightly. "They look they are having fun, but I am afraid that they will laugh at me like my old friends did." she said in a timid little voice then realized. Wait a minute it was Miss Sunny. Miss Sunny. Without realizing what she was doing she ended up hugging Sunshine's legs. "Miss Sunny, I missed you. I would like to play, I would." She was very shy.

Sunshine frowned. Kids could be so mean, especially around the age Lilo was. What was it that they needed to laugh at one of their own peers. When she was a kid, the only thing she got teased for was coloring - over excessive coloring. She was about to share that when Lilo had sat up and was hugging her legs like any child would hug a mother's. She normally hated the nickname 'Sunny', but when a kid like Lilo said it, it melted her heart. "Hi, Lilo," she ruffled the little girl's hair.
