"Alrighty. Is everyone ready to get this started?"
Anna, armed with her BPD issue firearm and wearing a bullet-proof vest, spoke both to the officers in front of her and into a radio earpiece. Her normally chipper and happy-go-lucky attitude had been replaced with an intense, driven focus as her blue eyes took in the surroundings. They were near where the Antionette River and the bayou converged, the shore only a dozen yards away. The whole area around them had been set up as a base of operations for the BPD, complete with several ambulances, a truck full of screens monitoring the scene, another carrying the equipment they would require and more then a few squad cars. However, everything was being carried out as calmly and quietly as possible. After all, they couldn't afford to let their target know they were there.
As this thought crossed her mind, Anna once again picked up a nearby pair of binoculars and looked through them at the building that stood about a mile away, resting directly against the riverbank. It was a large brink building with multiple stories and had numerous pipes snaking away from it and several smokestacks adorning the roof. Despite the late hour, smoke was pouring from the stacks and lights could only just been seen shining within the depths of the building. A chain link fence wrapped around the perimeter and a lone sign declared what the structure was.
Water Treatment Plant of Bellerouge.
As she examined the building for the thousandth time, Anna recalled how only just the other day she had made the connection to where Grey Dawn would launch their next attack against Others. What with the information they had gathered on the group, the trends their previous attacks had taken, and the information they had received from the now deceased renounced Grey Dawn member, she had managed to put the pieces together with some help from Yang and realized the terrorist group was going to try and pollute the entire water supply of Bellerouge with Sapien drug. And while this treatment plant wasn't the only one in the city, it was the largest and fed into the majority of the city's water supply. All Grey Dawn had to do was dump enough of the drug into the water, wait until the Other population of the city was reduced to humans, and then kill off as many of the targets as possible.
Perhaps they thought that since they had managed to drug several Others Unit officers during the botched raid and managed to escape without being captured, no one could stop them. It was clear that their confidence had been bolstered based on the number and frequency of attacks and assaults they had committed in the wake of the raid. However, their extremist and hate-filled views had finally delivered the BPD the help they needed in the renounced Grey Dawn member. And now their very pride might have led to their downfall.
Anna ground her teeth in anger as one firm thought filled her mind.
You're not getting away with the pain, hatred and death you've caused. Not on the BPD's watch, you bigoted bastards!

"This is Fire bird ready to heat things up~" Esme said softly over the comms giggling just a tiny bit over the nickname she gave herself before a serious look descended on her face. This Sapien drug was not something she enjoyed dealing with it took the best parts of what makes Others well Others and twisted them to fit some gross cookie cutter human thing. She however unlike Anna was covered in fire proof clothing and the scarf she used her eyes an orange red as she tried to keep it to a simmer until given the go.

Aqua finished strapping on her Kevlar jacket. It had holes in the back for her wings, so it was mildly exposed compared to the rest of her being, but if she wanted to be airborne, it was something she was going to have to be mindful of. She took a deep breath. The last encounter with Grey Dawn hadn’t gone according to plan. But now they knew what to expect, knew to avoid getting shot if at all possible. No one needed another dose of Sapien in their system. Speaking of which, she spared a glance to Shadow. She hadn’t spoken to him or Sunshine since they brought her Terra’s badge. The same badge that hadn’t left the evidence baggie they handed her. She knew she ought to have cleaned it up, taken it back to his parents, but she was afraid to go back to them with bad news.
She sighed. It wasn’t ideal. None of this was what she wanted. Not the Sapien. Not Terra. Not any of it. She already felt guilty for yelling at Shadow, but didn’t know how to approach him to apologize. He was just trying to help before she had all but blown up in his face about it. He had just happened to be the bearer of bad news. She didn’t want to believe that Terra was gone, that he was somehow involved with Vanitas, and Vanitas was involved in Grey Dawn. She didn’t know what it all meant. It was enough to leave her breathless.
"I'm going to get an aerial view," Aqua told the team.
She let her glamour drop. She was a little nervous because the last time she willingly let it drop, she had burnt her wings up something horrid. Though Sunshine healed her, the experience had been a painful one. She had tender wings for a couple weeks before everyone was called back to the office, half resigned to asking the chief for more time off until Sunshine stepped in. Granted, Riku got cursed shortly after... She was afraid of what would happen if her partner came. He needed the experience, but he was also getting used to his new body.

Red had on black jeans, a black shirt and a kevlar vest. She needed to blend in, and wearing her signature red color wasn't the way to go about it. The red head had been asked to go in place of a giant rabbit cop because he was still getting used to being a rabbit and was afraid he might botch the operation if he went. This was a good reason to opt out in Red's opinion. She unfolded a sheet of paper with a summoning circle on it and got ready to call a small spirit out, though this spirit was rather fearsome in battle. It would be handy if things got hairy. Red walked over to the officers and nodded seriously to them. "Where d'ya want me to be, dears?" she asked quietly. "I can go anywhere I'm needed"

"Really? Firebird?" Sunshine groaned into her communicator at Esmeralda's nickname. She and Shadow had positioned themselves just outside the garbage bins. Her partner was not in the fire retardant cloth the other officers wore. But for Sunshine, wearing black was a far cry from her pastels that she wore so often. She even had tucked her blonde hair into a beanie. A small part of her wished Riku would have come on the mission. But, she understood being cursed to become a big fluffy bunny would have been a laugh to the Gray Dawn. A laugh and a dead giveaway. "Red, we could use some spirit security hacking. Think you could send some of those to the cameras?"
While Sunshine was talking, Shadow was loading two pistols. Ambidextrous hands were going to be useful in this sting. He had all the bullets he could muster, and his rage to Frollo could be directed towards someone else causing problems. The Gray Dawn had taken away his powers for three weeks, leaving him vulnerable. Well, more vulnerable than he already was. He had watched a young girl get harrassed by a bully; a girl he swore to take care of and had now opened a path to. Now, there was a connection with Vanitas in regards to the Sapien drug. Anna had directed the hideout to the pipeline, which Shadow instantly felt stupid for not seeing earlier. Aqua had gone up with a report saying she was getting an aerial. His hand sagged as he put the loaded gun in his holster. He'd apologize for the digging about Terra later. Right now one big thing was fueling him;
Revenge.

No one acknowledged what she said. Aqua shook her head before leaping up into the air. Her wings caught her. She fluttered up, rising overhead. She could see her team below her. Much like the team she had during their first attempt at busting Sapien and Grey Dawn. She was nervous. Last time things had gone so horribly wrong that Shadow and Pitch could have died. Sunshine’s hair had been cut. Her wings burned. She barely got out with her life, let alone with Shadow and Pitch. Would there be casualties this time too?
It was best not to think of it. Determined, she flew close to the water treatment plant, as close as she dared. Just because she could not see Grey Dawn members yet, it did not mean they weren’t there. She let out a shaky breath before using a glamour to help her blend in with the sky. If they looked up, they would just see the sky. She had to mind shadows of course, but easily done if she was careful about it. Aqua was nothing if not careful. She didn't want to risk getting anyone hurt again.
"In position." she whispered over the comm system.

Anna continued to watch the building through her binoculars, her blue eyes never once wavering from the distant water treatment building as the other members brought in to take down Grey Dawn talked softly behind her. It wasn't the ideal team, what with several of the Others Unit members still suffering from the Sapien drug, but it was the best they had. And they couldn't let Grey Dawn's latest attack reach fruition.
They just couldn't!
"Ok guys. You know the plan. Aqua will watch from the sky in case Grey Dawn laid out any surprises and the river is covered by police forces blocking off the opposite shore and the two nearest bridges. The rest of us will go in by foot and take position where assigned. Squad A will enter the building first while squad B guards the perimeter. Got it?"
Anna finally broke her gaze from the binoculars and looked at each member of the team for a few seconds, her gaze far more intense then it normally would be.
"Ok, squad A. Move out!"
With that said, Anna began a slow approach towards the building, pausing every few seconds to make sure the rest of the team was with her. She hadn't been directly involved in an assignment like this for quite some time but she wasn't about to make some rookie mistake. They had to get this right and put an end to the terror that Grey Dawn was spreading across Bellerouge.
After a few minutes and no warnings or indications of movement from within the building, Anna had reached her position along a series of pipes feeding into the treatment system. She glanced around once more before speaking into her radio.
"Squad B, move out!"

The raidos clicked and muttered back and forth for a while. Shadow was staring around the bend as Sunshine listened to Anna's cues. He was just listening for the move to go, because right now his mind was running as fast as he normally went; hypersonic. Which meant in the blur, he could lose the focus on why they wee there. Yang's resettlement had been successful, her kids had been placed into the appropriate care. Now that it was out of the picture, it was time to look at the Gray Dawn.
"Be careful, Anna," Sunshine warned over the radio. "This is a dangerous place."
A very tiny part of Shadow wanted to make a snarkly remark. Anna was making a very risky move by rushing into the case. But, like she said, Aqua had an aerial coverage and was in full position. He stared at the churning water, remembering the last time he was around there, it was stained black with the inards of a sucker that the Other Units had apprehended. His hand clenched tightly. This wasn't going to happen again. This time, they were ready. Anna gave the singal for Squad B to go, which he responded;
"Understood. Squad B moving out."
Sunshine adjusted her black hat, "Shadow, are you okay? It's not like you just...be accepting of guard duty."
'I'm fine." Shadow huffed irritably. "I'm just trying to focus. A lot's happened this week..."

Aqua was technically with squad A, but only because she couldn't go inside the building from the roof and because someone had to be the eyes and ears for the unit. So far, she hadn't seen even the slightest of traces of Grey Dawn, but she trusted Anna. The young woman had never steered them wrong before. She knew her stuff and while this was a hunch, it was too dangerous to let it go unchecked otherwise. Sapien, tampered or regular, was likely to cause mass chaos in this city.
"Squad B, you're clear but stay out of sight." Aqua said. "No sign of Grey Dawn yet."
She could feel her heart racing. It was dangerous to fly this high in case she was shot. The fall would kill her if she was even struck with the slightest of Sapien darts. But that was the job. She narrowed her eyes, trying her best to keep out of sight. Hard to do when the sky provided no cover. But she flit from point to point, checking the entrances and exits. They must have been inside already. That certainly wasn't good.

Red nodded at the request and sent some of her summons to hack the surveillance system. "We should have eyes inside in a minute or two" she told everyone with a serious nod. When they split up into two groups she fell back with team B and continued holding her summon papers ready, just in case anything happened. She touched the little pink and gold pistol on her hip ,just to reassure herself it was there and looked around with sharp eyes. It was eerily quiet and she didn't trust the silence in the slightest. "Get the feeling somethin's watchin us?" she asked lowly as she continued looking around. "I ain't imaginin it right?"
