Red lounged in a booth to herself, cupping a warm cup of coffee and looking outside the kiosk with sharp baby blue eyes. She’d just got another thief off the streets and into the slammer. It felt good, doing work she was good at. It felt good venting a little frustration too. Red took a sip of her coffee-black with honey-and smiled to herself. The sky was downcast and maybe there’d be rain. Rain was nice. But that wasn’t why she was here. She was waiting for a target to make a move. He was a bold one, managing to sell drugs and other illegal items right outside the police department. No warrant out for his arrest, this was personal. He’d killed a little girl and her ghost had asked for Red’s help. Now all Red had to do was watch and wait for the creep to slip up, and she’ dbe on him faster than a fly on honey.

Korra wandered into Nevermore, her eyes set on a cup of coffee, the hot headed woman bumped into a man by mistake, the man going to swing his fist twoards her , causing Korra to up and back up to defend her self."Easy pal! it was an accident!" cried Korra, she really didn't want to have to revile her secrets here.her eyes glanced at the people now staring"Just back up and no-one will be...'' smack. landed on her face, a hand. the males hand she had been trying to stop , that did it -Korra's eyes glowed and she lifted her palm up , using air to push him aside , in defense"Freak!" called the man, his eyes glaring down at her as he attempted to rush out of the buildings back door.

Red glanced up and away from the window at the sound of a scuffle and snorted. "Some men just have no manners anymore. Slappin a lady fer bumpin into him? appalling" she called in the direction of the rude gentleman who had slapped the young woman who had accidentally bumped into him. Really, where had manners gone in this day and age? Honestly. She stood up and walked over to the young woman, feeling male gazes, and some female gazes, settle on her as she did so. She ignored them and looped her arm through the girl's and led her back to her booth. "C'mon sug, I'll buy you a coffee and you can forget that uncouth moron" Red winked one large blue eye at the girl and smiled. "Call me Red. Most everyone does"

Korra blinked as she powered down , her eyes watching Red curiously , those big blue eyes of Korras canting to the side where the man escaped too than back at the woman"My name is Korra.''she'd say softly , today she wasnt wearing her glasses, she had decided to try contacts out. "Thanks.'' she would say gently " What brings you to Nevermore?"she wondered , with a smile.

"Well nice ta meetcha Korra" Red laughed and shrugged. "Oh, this an that. I'm a bounty hunter, see. Was just in the police department and decided ta stop by here for a coffee" her eyes slid to the window and where her target was standing but drifted back to Korra after a beat. She could always bust the guy another day. This seemed more important really. Naveen always told her to make new friends and she figured heeding his advice for once was worth a shot. "What're you in here for, sweet thing? Coffee or pastry?"

Korra smiled again."A Coffee.''she'd say softly brushing her hair too the side of her face gently.taking her glasses off for a moment to rub her forhead gently. she was still tired from her late night at work. she rubbed her nose gently between two for-fingers."sorry, it was a late night.''she'd say softly.

Red smiled at this person and nodded. "Their coffee's pretty dang good" she said happily. "I keep comin back fer more an I probably shouldn't but it keeps em in business ya know?" Red nodded. "Oh I understand. Long nights are the bane of all our lives I would wager"
