PERSONALITY: Compared to her more edgy partner, Sunshine lives up to her nickname. She always views the glass half full, even in bad situations. Her artistic viewpoint (she loves being artsy in her spare time) can get her and her partners out of situations or pick out a new clue in an investigation. Beneath her positive upbeat side, she can be very feisty and stubborn when threatened, refusing to leave any stone unturned or any mission unfulfilled, and that determination is one thing she and Shadow have in common.
BACKSTORY: Sunshine is the head baker at her stepfather’s bakery, living in an apartment in Bellerouge, away from the chaos that was the BPD department. But the life of darkness caught up to her when she was captured by a gang of vampires and was held hostage for a week – she would have been there longer if her sun-based powers and assistance from Shadow, who had been caught while investigating and locked up with her, and assisted in her escape. Shadow requested a new partner after the incident, and despite going with several Others couldn’t find the right fit. Eventually he put a good word in for Sunshine with the BPD, and after training in police work, she came on board as Shadow’s newest partner in the S.O.F. unit.
