Cruella closed the back door in a haste. She had just finished beating a sickly werecat who dared to get close, and now was just a beautiful fur drying off in the back room. She had changed her blood-stained clothes back into a black and white cocktail dress with a spotted bodice. Business was in session. She sauntered into the main hub of Mina, biting back a laugh as a man ran away screaming.

This place reeks of blood and corruption. Perfect.
The thought passed silently through Lilith's mind as she stepped into the club, her pale figure bathed in the red lighting that seemed to dominate the establishment. Everywhere she looked she could see beautiful, almost surreal youths strutting about or drinking or showing off. The whole environment was one given over to elegance and pleasure and she could taste the sins that poured off of each person she passed. For the she-demon, it was like being offered the choicest selections of wine to be had.
She had come to Mina on a whim that night. She had been on the streets for a time, searching for another individual to feed upon when she caught the enticing scent of lust, greed and murder pouring out of one building. When she approached, she had seen the name "Mina" in red cursive on a black backdrop over the door. And when she had approached the entrance, the bouncer had given her only the briefest of looks before letting her pass into the club.
Now she sat on one of the red velvet loveseats that adorned the main floor of the club, her eyes still vibrantly purple even bathed in the crimson light. She watched silently from the seat, seeming so out of place compared to everyone else there. She looked almost like an angel that had fallen from heaven into a den of demons. It was so ironic that it made her smile softy.
Hmmm, it seems this place might have potential. I could do with a place to rest....
She mused quietly to herself as she watched humans, vampires and weres mingling together from her seat. However, a moment later she heard a laugh that caught her attention. Turning, her violet gaze landed on a thin woman with hair both black and white, stylishly dressed and with an air of power about her. Lilith watched her from across the room, certain this was the one in charge here.
Slowly, she rose from the loveseat and made her way between the dancing couples, her large and seemingly innocent eyes never once leaving this woman.

Cruella's smile continued to grace her thin face. If one man was too afraid, then a pack member would be enjoying such pleasure. She had seen any bite marks or claw marks, but chances were the taste of his blood was enough. Red like her lipstick, and soon, more would be she'd.
Amid the crowds, a stark flash caught her eye. Walking through the sea of dark clothing was one tracd of white. Her eyes narrowed. A Lafayette. What was a Lafayette doing in her establishment? Sending their hideous dolls to spy on her, no doubt.
Her wrath was fizzling as she strutted down to the main hub. The red and black tiles echoed as her stilettos clicked. But as she drew closer, she realized the white haired figure wasn't a Lafayette.
Her eyes were purple, not the traditional piercing blue.
Cruella stepped back, realizing her mistake and tossing the white part of her dress aside in embarrassment.

Lilith was still making her way towards the woman when she seemed to catch her eye. With a look of annoyance, the fur-clad lady began to walk towards her in turn and they soon met each other next to the bar. However, the expression on the lady's thin face changed from one of anger to one of mild embarrassment.
The look was clear enough to the she-demon. She had mistaken her for someone else. With a small smile playing about her lips, she spoke to the woman.
"Yes? You looked as though you wished to say something to me?"

"Forgive my intrustion, miss, I confused you for a member of a wretched family," Cruella hastily apologized. She hunted for her wallet, smiling in delight as she grabed the dog-tail styled device. She pulled out some bills, ordering,
"Yes, you know I want. A glass of Zinfandel. Keep the change, darling."
The bartender pocketed the money, leaving Cruella alone with the white haired, violet-eyed woman. At least there was someone to talk to without sending her into a frenzy. She had been mildly steamed since Axel and her made their reluctant bargain. Some company had to be worth more than the red-glass chandelier twinkling above.

Lilith continued to smile at the woman, watching silently as she offered up a hasty apology and then ordered a drink from the bar to their right side. While the whole establishment carried the smell of sin and blood, this woman in particular exuded a scent that reeked of lifeblood drained away and a mixing of great power. It was the scent of someone who could be quite useful in her own mission.
"Tell me something. Might you be the owner of this.... establishment?"
She gave a small gesture to the surrounding extravagance but never once looked away from this woman's face, raising a single pale eyebrow on the last word. As soon as she had stepped into Mina she had realized it was a feeding ground of some kind, but looking at the workers it was clear they were a mix of vampire and weres. That in and of itself was highly unusual considering that these Others were often at ends with each other. It was also intriguing.

The pale woman sitting next to Cruella had turned her pretty head to look over. The hybrid was twirling her cigaette holder, empty because she didn't feel like smoking at the moment, in between her fingers. Her red lips went up to a confident smile. That smile gave way to a quiet chuckle, to which she answered in a voice of absolute joy,
"Of course I'm the owner of this establishment. Honestly, what Garcon Perdu needs is a little glamoiur to keep from being so," she pouted a bit, "drab."

"Indeed."
Lilith let her gaze wander over the room set before her a moment longer before turning her focus completely onto the woman sitting only a foot away.
"It is quite the elegant setting you have cultivated here. Far more glamorous than any vampire nest or were den within this city, to be certain."
She smiled softly as she spoke. Only a human or a fool of an Other wouldn't recognize Mina for what it really was. This woman might have dressed it up to look like a high-end nightclub, but an abattoir still stank of death no matter what you called it.

There was a moment of an awkward silence for a while. A tiny thought echoed in Cruella's mind of fear. Was this a critic or a health inspector? She'd have to use caution.
The worry faded when the woman simply complimented Mina. The fear was replaced with a wash of pride. Cruella grinned widley, her white teeth flashing almost predatory.
"Well, when all the vampires and weres have known nothing but, life in the ghettos or cruelty, it pays to have some luxury. A roof over their head, money in their pockets..." she sipped her wine. "...food that doesn't resort to more violent means."

"Indeed. I sense the truth of what you say, so perhaps you can aid me."
She said all this sweetly and yet something dark lurked in the depths of her violet gaze. A moment later the bartender stepped up with a drink in hand before putting it down in front of Lilith, giving her a large smile as he spoke.
"A little something from the gentleman sitting at the far left end of the bar."
The she-Demon kept her gaze on the thin woman for a moment longer before looking to where the bartender had spoken of. A young man, fairly attractive by most standards, was looking at her closely. He had sandy blonde hair and deep brown eyes and when he saw her looking at him, he gave a wide grin that displayed white teeth. She gave her own smile back to him and took the drink, knowing perfectly well the shape she took in this man's mind.
He was not the only one to have fallen under her enchantment. Already several other men who had previously been focused on the female employees of Mina now looked at her with eyes that ranged from simple attraction to outright lust. It was so easy to lure these foolish men in. All she had to do was show them the image of their dream woman and they were hers. However, she wasn't here to feed, she was here to talk.
"I can assure you that should you help me, you will receive far greater in return."
The smile stayed in place even as she took a sip from the drink sent to her, tasting a deep red wine that pleased her.

A sense of truth? What was that supposed to mean? Was this woman another pig coming to try and sniff out all her illegal activities? The Others Unit had some nerve, Cruella had to admit. They had come a long way from just being snoops.
The bartender came by and gave the woman a drink. Cruella followed the lavender gaze of her acquaintance to the pretty man sitting at the edge of the bar. He was smiling at her dopily. And apparently he wasn't the only one. Some of the men were lulling over like flies to sugar. The young woman was content with her wine, sipping it elegantly.
Cruella took that opportunity to check the contents of the drink. If it were laced with a roofie, her senses would pick it up. That kind of work was not welcome in the clubs, intended or unintended. Her nostrils flared up and down. It was the Midnight wine blend, highlighted by its rich blakcberry and subtle hints of mocha. However a slightly sour smell made her recoil.
Yes, the drink was laced,
Discretely, she pushed the glass aside, glaring daggers at the bartender. "A little fly fell into this. We can't have the poor dear drinking that," her dark eyes flashed coldly at the man, who turned pale. Knowing it wouldn't work out, she struck one of her cigarettes, and pretended to puff it.
In the green smoke came Cruella's signature weapon; her hypnosis. The cigarette smoke was of her own invention to disguise the vampire trait, which alone was also the hellish green. As it hit the bartender's face, he picked up the glass and walked back, replacing it. But before it was over, Cruella sniffed the contents. Blackberry, mocha, plum, and violet. No traces of anything else. She nodded, saying, "That'll do. And make it on the house." She snapped her fingers, and the green fog left the bartender's face as he went to check on a howling woman at the other side.

Lilith had only taken the single sip from the glass when Cruella's nostrils flared and she pushed the drink back towards the bartender, giving him a dangerous look. She spoke of a fly in the drink and demanded a new one be brought to her, taking a delicate pull from her cigarette and blowing the greenish smoke that formed into the man's face.
The bartender's expression briefly looked confused then seemed to grow strangely unfocused as he left to get the newly prepared drink, delivering it to Lilith with the same dazed air. This only disappeared with the green smoke and work from Cruella.
Hypnotism. And quite a subtle version, too. This woman could indeed be quite useful to me.
The thought slid across the she-demon's mind as she picked up the new drink and smiled softly back at the woman with the yin-yang hair.
"Why, how kind of you, but there is certainly no need to fret over me. After all, little things like rohypnol in my drink won't bother someone....like me."
She sipped at the new drink, giving the elegant woman standing next to her a chance to think over what she had just said. Let her draw her conclusions, Lilith was genuinely curious to see what she would make of her words.

Cruella, who had sipped her own wine, looked at the lavender-eyed girl, whp was showing gratitude for the step in.
"Those acts are not welcome at Mina," a growl was loping in her words. "if you are going to get to the center of the meat, it has to be given fresh. It's not fair form to poison the prey and then kill it."
She'd take care of the idiot who tried to pull the fast one on the girl later. Right now, she was busy with this one.
"...and by some one like you," she dared question, "you mean a simple little stunt like that won't effect you because of a...gift?"

"But who is the predator and who is the prey?
As she spoke, Lilith placed a single hand against the table of the bar. On the opposite side, the man who had sent her the drugged drink was just reaching for his own glass, the fifth drink he had had that night, when he felt a sudden jolt like a shock and the glass in his hand shattered.
With a soft tinkle, the shards hit the table as the man gave out a cry of surprise and pain, holding his hand were several pieces of the glass had embedded themselves into the flesh. Droplets of blood dripped onto the counter as the man rose from his stool unsteadily and made his way towards the exit with curses flowing from his lips.
"Gifts? How quaint that you should call them that."

"Depends on the situation darling..."
No sooner had she said than the man cursed. Cruella just blinked to see the man staring at his now empty hand. The remains of his drink, contents and glass, had dissolved into nothingness. Shrd of glass tinkled onto the bar, and some pieces were starting to stain red.
Cruella had to cover her mouth. The iron-heavy scent of freshly spilled blood teased her vampire and werewolf heritage. SHe was able to control the bloodlust, yes, but at times the resistance would sneak up like a belch. She emitted a clearing of her throat, forcing the hunger for blood back into the deep recesses of her mind.
"You might as well say they are, because, as I said earlier, it depends on the situation."
