"You're in luck. All the rooms I give are single unless notified."
The red ink was spalttering like blood on the notepad Cruella was writing on. The bartender was back at work, refilling Lilith's drink. Well, at least the hypnosis was well-timed with the she-demon's work. Quite the team up.
"I'm sure you'll find no shortage of food here. Beneath the cigars and fine suits, there are plenty of sins. But, I see you'll be figuring that out for yourself, darling."
Cruella sipped her wine, finalizing the scribbles quickly. She would have to tell her pack about the affairs, and how they would have a leader. This would scare some of them off, but she had her dealings with runners. Those who defied her contracts or change of contracts ended up on the dinner table. A feast that would last for a while. Lilith changed the course of the topic, and she pursed her lips.
"Mm, my requirements are in alignment with yours. Since living energy is the food you require, the promise of cleaning a mess is pretty much fulfilled. I will require a small fee of, oh, seventy dollars a month for you stay here. Secondly, there is a bar called the Bourbon Graisse in the French Quarter. You are not to set any foot near it or lure any customers; the owner and I have a rather reluctant deal. And thirdly, you are not to put any members of my pack in any sort of firing lines. Turf wars were never a pleasant business, and I forbid any of my pups being in a nasty brawl."

"Oh? A little rivalry with this other bar? Interesting."
Lilith smirked but said nothing more as Cruella finished laying out her own conditions for the deal. Really, others might have baulked somewhat at the requests she was putting forward, but to the She-Demon it was so little that it hardly mattered.
"Is that all, Cruella? Surely there must be something else you wish for, something you desire or covet?"

Cruella sipped her wine once more. The less she talked about that dingy little place they calle da bar, the better. This was a full experience, not just a palce for drinks. She twirled one of her black locks, the white locks far too thin to be twirled.
"Well, you have given me quite a lot to work with. It was difficult to really choose my desires when we both have common interests."
She traced the rim of her glass, red on red. The stain of wine was darker against the red satin of her gloves. The ring, set with a glass-eye - an eye that had belonged to the alpha of a rival were clan - glittered in the low glow of the bar.
"I suppose if I had to choose a desire, it would be..." she sipped her wine once more, "it would be finding spaces where my after hours work would be more...discrete. Those coppers are getting smarter every day."

"I think that desire can be fulfilled quite easily."
Suddenly, Lilith turned so that she was directly facing Cruella, her face and posture dead serious as her lavender eyes fixed on the hybrid woman. Now that they had each reached an agreement, the time had come to seal the contract.
Reaching out a pale hand to Cruella, ghostly flames began to flicker just along the surface of Lilith's skin. It was now or never.
"It's a deal."

Cruella's whitened teeth gleamed wickedly. Almost as wicked as the pahntom flames in Lilith's hand. Some would say shaking hands with a devil's lackey was dangerous. However, the hybrid was well-aware the benefits would be good for her business, and not so good for all those who tried to hurt her pack. The flamed hand met her gloved hands, and she shook it firmly. ((end thread))
