Jim didn't hesitate. Even with the spirits surrounding her, he knew they had to get her to a hospital so they could help her. As soon as the car slowed down he loaded his gun with a tranquilizer jumped out and ran toward Anna. "Hold her steady." He called out to the spirits as he ran toward her in order to get a clear shot. Once he was in range he fired, aiming at her shoulder.
Dimitri parked the car seconds after Jim got out. He pulled out his gun as well, ready to cover his brother if he needed it. He was careful to leave the door open so Jenna could leave the car if she wanted to.

Anna was only a few short feet away from the new piece of land and escape when suddenly a series of dark, shadowy figures flitted across the water and surrounded her in a loose circle. Immediately she stopped in her tracks, up to her waist in the fetid water with her crimson eyes darting from shape to shape.
She let out a low growl and immediately swiped at the figures, but her blow met nothing. This only added to her fury as she turned wildly on the spot, causing the water to splash around her. However, before she could do anything else something came buzzing through the air and struck her in the shoulder. Immediately she reached up and ripped the thing from her shoulder, not even looking at the tranquilizer dart that had pierced her flesh.
She lunged forward in an attempt to break through the circle of strange spirits that surrounded her, but suddenly her eyesight began to blur and she staggered on the feet. She shook her head to try and throw off the dizziness that began to fall over her.
However, despite being drugged with a tranquilizer, she refused to go down and with a wild, animalistic scream she rushed forward. At the last moment, she dodged around one spirit and submerged herself into the water. Without looking back, she rushed to the new spit of land and would have taken off into the swamp....had her legs not given out as soon as she reached the shore.
She tried to rise back to her feet but immediately fell back to the ground, kneeling down with her hands in the mud. She couldn't even rise to her feet on the third try. Anyone watching would have assumed the tranquilizer was taking effect on her..... until she suddenly gave a terrible cough and a fountain of black blood poured out of her mouth.
Anna continued to spew the horrible liquid onto the swampy ground, unable to stop the tainted blood flowing out of her. When it did finally stop, she gave a terrible shudder before collapsing forward onto the shore. There she lay, twitching violently and panting as if she couldn't breath.

Axel trudged after Anna. The spirits thankfully slowed her down. A few parts where he was wading through the muck, had gone up to his waist and for a tall man like him was not good, let alone Anna, who went into the water and fought violently. Someone else shot her, his eyes widened when she went down, but it was just a tranquilizer. That was his chance. He leapt onto the little patch of grass that dared to call itself land in this nightmare swamp. His hands went for Anna's wrists and he grabbed them both. He pulled them to where he could hold them and restrain her if need be, but it seemed like the fight had been sapped right out of her. The black blood poured from her lips. Axel picked her up off the ground, holding her close. She wouldn't fight back, he decided, if she did, he could take whatever damage she could dish out.
"I've got her." he told the motley rescue crew. "I need to get her to the hospital."
He would not let the 'rescue team' stop him. She would get help whether they believed she deserved it or not. Even if he had to burn the entire bayou down with him to get her there. He looked between Red and the newcomers, daring them to contest his declaration. He doubted she would be able to sit on his motorcycle, let alone stay on without falling off. She was limp in his arms and ghastly pale. The poor human girl was literally at death's door.

Aqua twitched. He missed the whole part about the 'sleazy' car salesman part. Just taking pride in the salesman bit. But a djinn in the city, was something new entirely. She hadn't even heard a djinn had come to town until now. It probably explained why he knew her wish(es)? She shook her head. She couldn't fix things by just wishing for them. She turned to see a horrific sight. A faery with burnt wings. She reinforced her own glamour out of habit, feeling very uncomfortable around this injured fey. It reminded her of what happened to her own wings during the Sapien fire and to her parents, when they died, burnt alive by iron - the worst way for a faery to go out.
"Wait, Dorian, right? I have a sample of Anna's blood, please, we can make an antidote or a potion or something!" she insisted.
All without the help of wishes to make it happen, she told herself. She didn't know Constantine from any guy on the street, nor did she know Dorian. At least Dorian was making an effort to try to set things right, whereas it felt like Constantine was just at the right place at the right time. He was acting like one of those men selling snake oil, telling people that it would cure them of all their ailments. Aqua had arrested men like him before. Because they would cheat and swindle people who were down on their luck and so desperate they would try anything to fix whatever mess they had gotten themselves into.

"Get her in the car. We'll get her there." Dimitri called out opening the door to the back seat. Both he and his brother winced at the sight of Anna coughing up blood. "We'll get her there." Dimitri said again "and to hell with the speed limits."
Jenna said nothing as she watched everything happen. Just as she had thought, Jim Colt was an expert marksmen. Just like his father had been. She let out a whine at the sight of Anna coughing up blood.

Red raised her hands when Axel gave her a look. She wouldn't stop him getting Anna help. Maybe if she'd been stronger, faster, smarter or older she could have saved her brother. Saving Anna wouldn't make up for that, but it would help. "Git er in th car an I'll follow on my bike. I'd take er, but she might die wi th strong winds an things" Red said mater of factly. "By all means, let's help er afore she dies"

Dorian looked between Aqua and the strange man and shrugged slightly. "Anna was trying to make a serum that made humans like Others, for a little while. I gave her my blood to help. She took the serum after Axel and Shadow destroyed most of it. It made her go crazy and she attacked Rachel Seddon and I" he said briefly. "If I hadn't encouraged her, she wouldn't have done it. This is all my fault" He looked at her and shook his head. "It would take me days to figure out what she put in the serum. I couldn't make an antidote in time. Not even sure if it would react to an antidote. We need something else"
Constantine stared at him in interest and stepped forward. "My good man, today is your lucky day! I deal in wishes and miracles. I can isolate the serum in her veins and can neutralize it, if that's what you desire. It's all depending on the wish what I can do" Dorian looked at him warily but nodded.
"What do you ask for?"
"I want you to perfect the serum and bring it to me"
"Out of the question!"
"Then your friend dies, mate. Is that what you want? Or don't you care about human life? I mean, you are a faery and all"
"....fine. I'll make you the finished product and will bring it to you"
"Good lad. Now, we shake on it"
Constantine put out his hand and after a few moments of hesitation Dorian grasped the hand and shook the hand firmly. Bright blue light erupted around their hands and Constantine's eyes glowed, before everything went back to normal. Dorian looked around unhappily. Suddenly he felt more trapped than he had previously. He pointed a finger at Constantine. "You have to honor the deal" Constantine smiled.
"Once made, my contracts are never broken. You get your friend, and I get that serum"

Despite the horrible state that she was is, Anna somehow managed to remain conscious and even continued to struggle when Axel bound her wrists together before lifting her into his arms. She tried to slice with her nails, kick free and even bite but they were all feeble attempts and caused no serious damage to the Fire Demon.
She tried to scream once more in animalistic rage but the sound that escaped her was pitiful and even that caused her to start coughing again. Black blood leaked from the corner of her mouth and the shivering that had started was growing stronger, causing her whole body to shake.
But worst of all, inside her chest her heart was beginning to slow in its beating....

Axel loaded Anna into the back of Jim and Dimitri's car, carefully, as if she were made of glass, even though she was still trying to get away but she was so sickly and so weak she wouldn't. He was putting a lot of trust in them to save her. He didn't even know them, but he couldn't exactly just steal their car and drive it himself. He couldn't stand the thought of them not getting there fast enough for her. But he couldn't take care of her. He couldn't get her to a hospital safely. And it infuriated him to the core, but he wanted to protect her more than anything in the world.
"Drive." he ordered. "Her life depend on it."

"Wait, Dorian, you can't trust him!" Aqua tried to protest but she was ignored.
She looked worriedly between the two men. She hadn't trusted this 'Constantine' for a heartbeat. But Dorian shook the man's hand. Making their deal. She took a deep breath. It all happened so quickly, faster than she could stop it. But at the same time, Dorian said it would take him too long to cure Anna the natural way. She screwed her eyes shut. She couldn't even save Anna right. She felt awful. She had wanted to do something right for once. Instead, she was caught up by a genie.
"Damn it..." she muttered.

Jim got into the passenger side of the car as Dimitri got into the driver seat. Jenna jumped in after Jim. Dimitri drove off at high speed toward the hospital. Jim kept an eye on Anna as Jenna listened with dread at the slowing heart beat of Anna.

Red followed closely until they got into the car and then went to where her bike was. She revved it and started after them when they got to the road. She managed to stay close behind and not lose them. She just prayed that they would make the hospital in time.

"Djinn always keep their word. They just keep in in...expressive ways" Said Dorian with a sigh. "But there was no other way to save her. At least, not one that wouldn't take longer than we had" he turned to Constantine. "I'll keep my end of the promise, just don't expect it to be soon. I only have one eye after all. I'm going to have to get used to looking through a microscope with my non-dominant eye"

Once she was loaded into the back of Jim and Dimitri's car, Anna's struggles continued to weaken as her body began to shut down from the serum that was poisoning her. She was completely oblivious to the efforts the others were making to save her life, but even the anger that had driven her to this point was starting to fade and grow vague.
They raced towards the hospital at speeds that would have terrified Anna on any given day, but what remained of her hardly felt anything as the drew closer and closer to the hospital. By that point she had finally stopped moving and instead was staring out the window above her at a sky that was red as blood. Suddenly, a large multi-story building came into view with a sign naming it.
Guerer Hospital.
As she lay flat against the car seat while the vehicle came to a jarring stop in front of the emergency room entrance, the last of her consciousness finally gave out and her mind fell into a deep darkness that seemed to have no beginning and no end.

Axel watched as she was loaded up and driven away. He swore under his breath. There wasn't much he could do at this point. He went in with no plan and just the determination to 'save' Anna. What good had he done? He dragged her through the mud, literally until she got hit with a tranquilizer. Even then he hadn't brought the tranquilizer. He wasn't even the one driving her to the hospital. Still, he turned on his heel, heading back towards his own bike and took off after the car, giving little to no care that he was caked in mud and heaven knew what else. It meant he would have to clean his bike later but his focus was Anna.
