The words were so blunt that wally almost thought he had misheard. Nothing. He could do nothing. What if she approached him then. She would hurt other people. He couldn't let that happen. He wouldn't let that happen. His green eyes met the man's golden ones. It was almost like facing a shadow. However, Wally wasn't sure what to think.
The speedster glanced back at his mother's grave. Adrien had mentioned demons like Thrax, he didn't think he would be dealing with one so soon. He had been dealing with thugs and petty criminals. Did he even have the power to deal with someone like Lilith again. He didn't like doing nothing but the idea of disobeying this man seemed like the wrong idea.
"Okay, if you are sure that is what's best."

"It is."
Pitch said this over his shoulder as he looked up into the night sky before raising his hand to his mouth and producing a piercing, almost unnatural whistle that seemed to echo up and up into the reddish blackness above. The sound continued to echo outward even after Pitch had lowered his hand back to his side. When it finally dissipated, the silence that fell over them seemed too deep even for a graveyard. Suddenly, a sound could be heard over the light wind that had started to blow. And just like that another and then another of the same sound came to them from various parts of Bellerouge.
It was a distance-thin neighing that quickly grew louder and louder. Soon enough, black equine shapes could be seen stampeding across the air itself and heading directly towards where the Demon and the young man stood. The first to arrived slammed into the ground, tossing their midnight manes wildly while glowing yellow eyes seemed to glare at Wally.
However, as soon as Pitch stepped up to them the Nightmares immediately focused on him. He went straight up to the leader of the group and stroked the creature's neck as he began to speak to all of them.
"I have something of great importance for you all to do. A new demon, a female, has made her presence known here in the city. Spread the word to the others. You are to search for her. Once she is located, report back to me immediately but under no circumstances will you approach her. Understood?"
The Nightmares spoke no words but it was clear that they understood the task their Master had set them. With another wild toss of their heads, the herd turned and once again took off into the sky. However, Pitch did not turn and speak to Wally again until the last had disappeared from view.
"They will report back to me should they find anything. You, on the other hand, must exercise great caution. The fact that this Demon has expressed interest in you holds nothing but bad tidings."
He turned back to Wally as he spoke, holding something out to the redhead. It was a card from the BPD, carrying the contact information for the Others Unit on it.
"Should you see her again, do not approach, to not speak with her, do not make any contact. You are to immediately call this number and then keep your distance."

Wally took the card with shaking hands. He had no idea what he had gotten into. Why did he have to be the hero? Had he not bothered with patrolling the city, this never would have happened. The man was frank but in truth maybe that was best. Wally had done something that he would regret. "Believe me, if i have it my way, I'll try not to run into her again." That much was true. The speedster didn't want to do anything to make her more drawn to him.
He sighed and looked at the card.Seems like he was running more and more into BPD officers lately. Was it a sign.
"Thank you."

"Don't thank me. Just call me if you see anything at all."
Pitch said this more to the surrounding graves then to Wally, but the look he gave him over his shoulder was completely serious. This young man didn't know it but he might have just got himself involved in some truly dangerous circumstances. The She-Demon, whomever she was, might be an unknown to him but there was one thing that the Terror Demon was certain of; she wasn't finished with Wally yet.
He would have to report this new demonic arrival to the BPD and keep his Nightmares on high alert. There was no telling what kind of trouble had just found its way into the city.
"And whatever you do, take no risks."
Pitch's gaze seemed to burn right through the young man with it's intensity. If Wally truly wanted to be safe, the best thing he could do was play it safe and stay off the streets. However, Pitch had a vague feeling that was more intuitive then anything else that this guy wasn't the type to listen to orders.

Wally almost rolled his eyes. If anything he would have taken as many risks as he could but now that he knew what the demon could do, he wasn't about to just go ahead and run into her. He would try to avoid her no matter what the cost. "I'll keep that in mind." he replied calmly.
The speedster wasn't sure how the man was able to stay so calm, it seemed like no matter what happened that he was stone faced. Maybe it was because he worked for the BPD. After all, shadow was pretty stone-cold when they had met. The job might have some tolls it took on the man.
Wally turned his gaze back to the grave, he wanted to prevent anyone else from death even if that was impossible. "I'll keep you posted."

Pitch didn't speak, didn't even nod in response to Wally's words. His mind was focused on other things. Without a word he stepped over into the shadows of one of the larger trees of the cemetery and was enveloped by the darkness that lay there. In the blink of an eye he was gone as if he hadn't even been there.

Wally shivered as the man disappeared. Geez, it was almost like a ghost was there. The rumors of the idea of a graveyard being haunted had always been silly but now the boy had started to feel like it might be true. Demons, who would have thought those were real, until now. He turned to the grave once more. "Seems like I am in a lot of hot water this time huh Mom?" he laughed. "Don't worry, I'll get through this."
He turned and brushed some dirt away from the stone and walked away.
