The path they took at first was well established and seemed to be part of the main walkways that ran through the graveyard. However, as 'Eve' continued to lead Weiss through the tombstones and mausoleums, the path became more uneven with weeds in abundance and the graves older. Soon the path went from paved to only dirt, the vegetation far wilder and the surrounding monuments and tombs collapsed or crumbling upon their foundations.
Finally, the slender woman slowed in her tread and came to a halt in a section that was little more then wilderness now. The trees crowded around them with Spanish moss hanging low and what gravemarkers that hadn't crumbled to dust were little more then roughly shaped stones with indiscernible markings that might once have been writing.
'Eve' didn't even look over her shoulder as she stepped directly into the center of the clearing, running a hand over the moss-covered graves as she went. Once at the center of the circle, she lifted her arms from her sides and slowly turned to face Weiss. Her features were beautiful yet cold as she turned her violet gaze upon the clear blue of the girl's eyes.
"Dear Weiss, now I can help you unleash your full powers, for this very place shall aid us in the ritual that will bring you and your spirits closer together. This is a place of power. Can you feel it?"
Slowly, she closed her eyes and let the energy of this part of the graveyard fill her. Indeed, it truly was a place of power but while Weiss could sense that, she couldn't sense the emotions that tainted the place. For this part of the graveyard was filled with anger, rage, wrath. The tombs that surrounded them belonged to those who had died during battles of the Civil War. Both human and Other, they had died filled with fury and sowed this ground with their hatred.
'Eve' could sense this almost like a taste, like something fiery and burning hot. It was the perfect place to being the first of the four rituals that would fulfill her purpose.... and in its own twisted way it would fulfill that which Weiss desired too.
Opening her eyes once more, she smiled the sweetest and most trustworthy of smiles towards the young girl whose soul had been burning with her own hatred. As she looked at her, a bright line of purple light began to trace from the ground where she stood, forming ruins far older then even the human race.
And still wearing her angelic mask, the Demon held out her hand once more to Weiss.

Weiss could feel the change in the air as Eve led her deep into the cemetery. She might not have noticed it before, but she was more attuned to these sorts of things now. It felt older here, and things that were old had power. She could feel it, even as she ran a hand along the tombstone of some forgotten old soul. Some might have found the place creepy, but Weiss wasn't really concerned with stuff like that anymore. Her shadow spirits certainly seemed a bit more at ease. Maybe a place like this was more to their liking: dark, old, and providing them with more cover so they couldn't be noticed. She knew they looked forward to the day where they wouldn't have to spend most of their time cooped up in one place. Once she was the voodoo queen, they could run free, and she would make everyone obey her. They wouldn't be able to order her around anymore or treat her like a doll. She nodded in answer to Eve's question, and saw the woman holding out her hand to her once more. Weiss could feel energy building up, and her own power almost seemed to do the same in response. She was putting herself in Eve's hands now, and she knew both she and her shadow spirits were hoping this didn't backfire. Once again, she slipped her hand into Eve's.

The moment 'Eve' took Weiss' hand, the woman's eyes changed from delicate lavender to hellish purple and the smile on her face turned into something evil. She tightened her grasp on the young girl's hand and immediately the ruins on the ground went over to where the Voodoo girl stood before moving up her body. They moved incredibly fast, seemed to form as pulsing violet tattoos on her skin. All sound seemed to have stopped within the graveyard but now a sound could be heard, like a thousand whispers. Steadily the voices seemed to circle around them as they grew louder and louder and although the words were impossible to understand, one could not mistake the raw anger and fury that filled each to capacity.
As the voices grew in strength and the hellish ruins covered Weiss, as the red sky overhead seemed to pulse like a heart, the same purple light seemed to sear a circular pattern into the ground around Weiss' figure. And although it was impossible to say how someone would know, there was no denying that the circle was some kind of seal.
Once the seal had appeared on the ground, Lilith released her hold on Weiss and took a single step back. Rage was filling the entire clearly, pouring into Weiss and changing her into the very thing that Lilith had needed and would still need three times more. Her form was still the same and yet she had never appeared more powerful, more horrible then she did in that moment. With a feral grin splitting her face, she spoke in a voice that seemed to come straight from the depths of Hell.
"Ego cubavit Lilith, et invocabo ad vires ira, irae, irae. Ne in furore huius versperum posthac ad conteram sigillum Disparion in aeternum!"

The moment Weiss took Eve's hand, something seemed to shift, and rather quickly too. Energy built up around them, and along with it, a red-hot erupting rage. Weiss could feel it inside her. It'd been smoldering away for a long time, building up over the years as she endured one horrible thing after another. Now, it seemed to finally burst, erupting like a volcano. Everything around Eve seemed to be purple, but for Weiss, she felt like she was seeing red. It coated everything, and the rage inside her seemed to blot out everything else and muddle her senses. Was Eve chanting in Latin? Did her voice really sound menacing and dark? She honestly couldn't tell. Her rage and anger was all around her, and she could feel the power it gave her. She wanted nothing more to strike out at what was around her, to break every single thing into tiny pieces, just because she could. Her shadow spirits could feel her power growing, and they did feel pleased, even if they didn't want to admit it. They still stayed close though. Eve was no longer appearing as the kind woman Weiss thought she was, and their guard was up, just in case.

As Lilith yelled the words up into the blood-red sky, as the earth around them seemed to vibrate with the unholy energy that filled the space, as the She-Demon watched Weiss finally give way to the rage that had filled her entire being, the seal on the ground suddenly started to crack.
The fracture lines spread across the whole shape and with a sound like the earth shattering, the seal broke into a thousand shards of purple light and disappeared. Where the lines had laid on the ground, everything had died and the soil had turned black.
Slowly, the graveyard around them seemed to settle and everything returned to its normal state. Even the tattoos on Weiss' skin disappeared and the inhuman look faded from 'Eve.'
For a moment the pale woman didn't move or speak, didn't even appear to be breathing. The only thing that seemed to indicate any life from her was the look in her eyes, one of wild triumph and evil delight. When at last she did speak, she turned and addressed the shadows that still lingered about the young girl. It was as if Weiss didn't exist to her anymore.
"I do believe our deal is finished. I trust you'll find the girl is unharmed and yours now more then ever. It won't take much more for you to take possession of her."

Power and rage continued to rush through Weiss like an angry river. She'd never felt anything like this in her life. It was empowering and frightening all at the same time. Just when she felt like the rage might overwhelm her and body might break apart from the power of it all, everything started died down. The tempest inside her slowly faded away, and she felt herself come back to reality. Her rage vanished, and was replaced with exhaustion. Feeling so much all at once had drained her, and she fell to her knees, breathing as heavily as if she had run several miles without stopping. She thought she heard Eve say something, but she couldn't be sure. Either way, she felt her shadow spirits comfort her, and they seemed pleased as well. The boiling hot red that had dominated her senses was starting to fade, and she could finally note that she was in the graveyard, the sun was still out, and the soil beneath her was as black as the night.

The shadows didn't say anything but rushed over to where Weiss had collapsed on the ground once the seal had been shattered and the rage filling her had dissipated. However, Lilith could sense that they were pleased with how things had turned out. She herself now felt nothing at all for the little girl before her and the mask of 'Eve' that she had worn for her benefit was gone. Now there was nothing but contempt and the smallest of smirks on her lips.
"Thank you, Weiss. You really were the perfect vessel. However, now that I'm done with you I have other work to see to."
And just like that, the She-Demon turned on her heels and began to walk out of the clearing. While one of the seals had been broken, she still had three more to destroy before she finally accomplished her goal, the very purpose for which she had been sent into this pathetic world of mortals. And for that, she would have to find three more vessels before finally approaching the key that would free her master....

"Other...work?" Weiss was confused by that. "What do you mean..." She glanced up, but by the time she did so, Eve was already leaving the clearing. Weiss blinked. That was an awfully abrupt farewell. And what exactly had happened? It was hard to recall. She just remembered everything going red, and a horrible demonic voice speaking. It had almost sounded like it had come from Eve, but Weiss felt like that couldn't be true...could it?
Don't worry about it, the shadow spirits said in her mind. It doesn't concern us. Eve did she wanted, and our business with her is done. Right now, you need rest. You need to regain your strength before we teach you anything else.
Weiss let out a breath. Okay. She slowly stood up, making sure not to push herself too far. Her shadow spirits were right. Strength was what she needed if she wanted to become a powerful voodoo queen. Withstanding Eve's ritual had proved that much, even if she did feel a little weak in the knees. But she felt like it was a new step in the right direction. And that made both her and her shadow spirits pleased.
