Not sure about Yang's relationship with Adeline, Dimitri kept his thoughts about people summoning demons to himself. He knew Jim would lecture him about judging people he didn't know, and he hated being lectured by his younger brother. When he heard that Pitch had been hunting Thraz down and was most likely the cause of the demon's downfall he whistled. "Gotta say, having Pitch of all people hunting you down, I almost feel sorry for the guy. Almost." He joked.

"Yeah, almost," Yang agreed. In a way, she knew what it was like. Pitch had chased her down one night after catching her in an illegal fighting ring, and that hadn't been fun. She couldn't imagine that threat hanging over her head for an extended period of time. "But he's gone now, so I'm hoping things will get back to normal. Or, as close to normal as they can get." Normal was never a thing in Bellerouge, but if the city could just move on from the damage Thrax had caused, Yang would be happy. Unfortunately, Weiss popped into her head, and all her worries about her came flooding back. It made her want to start wailing on the punching bag again.

Dimitri nodded in agreement. Before he could ask her anything else, he caught an all too familiar look. The look of wanting to take out some pent up aggression against something that you couldn't control. He had lost count of how many times he had had that look himself. Or how many times Jim had had it. "You want to talk about what else is troubling you?" He asked. "If not I can just leave the punching bag to your mercy." He joked hoping to lighten the mood a little.

Dimitri was able to read Yang like a book. And he hadn't even known her for a day. Yang wasn't sure if that was depressing, or it was a sign that she wasn't bottling up her negative emotions like she used to. It was something she'd been working on for a while, especially during her recovery after losing her arm. She'd really had to start saying how she felt and what was on her mind in order to make progress and get better. "Just thinking about Weiss," she replied. "I mean, she was...for lack of a better word, a total wreck when Riku and I found her that day. And her parents keep saying she's getting better and recovering, but...I'm not sure if I believe them. And some other news sources are skeptical too. I feel like it's hard to put the whole Thrax thing down to rest until she starts seeming a little better, you know?" Granted, Yang wasn't expecting Weiss to be frolicking through the flowers or anything, but she remembered seeing her sobbing uncontrollably when she and Riku found her. And after she'd calmed down, she'd seemed practically dead on the inside. Yang just wanted her to be okay.

While Dimitri hadn't seen exactly what happened to Weiss, but he could imagine how horrible it would feel seeing someone like that. "Seeing what she went through can't really say I blame her." He said running his hand through his hair. "Also from what I've heard of her parents, they're kinda snobs." He said. "They like to hide things that might dishonor them." He thought for a few seconds.

"Yeah, so I've heard," Yang said, tossing her hair back. "Riku hasn't talked about them much, but anything he's said about them hasn't been positive." Riku could be tight-lipped about that sort of stuff. Then again, Yang wasn't really close to him, not the way that Sunshine was. He probably wouldn't tell her that sort of thing anyway. They worked together and he helped her get off the ground by giving her a house. That was about as far as their relationship went. Maybe she should change that. "You think they'd try hiding the truth?" she asked. "You'd think with all the publicity they've been getting, they'd be more careful about that." Then again, some people considered lying the less risky move than telling the truth. And if anyone would believe that mantra, it'd probably be the LaFayettes.

"Big rich family like that?" Dimitri said. "Wouldn't surprise me. Course the fact that I heard they disowned their own son, doesn't exactly match the picture-perfect family in my mind." Even though Dimitri wasn't one to usually gossip, he couldn't help but let the disdain for anyone who would turn their back on family from his voice.

"Yeah, there is that," Yang agreed. Riku's move to the Others Unit had been a controversial one. Even before Yang had started making friends with some of the officers, she'd seen it plastered on the front page of every paper. The LaFayettes had wanted Riku to get into the voodoo business, maybe even the next Voodoo King. Instead, he'd become a cop, and they were infuriated. And, according to reports, Weiss had been angry as well. She and Riku had had a rocky relationship for a long time. Yang wasn't sure if it was any better or worse, but with all the shit that Weiss was going through, having a decent relationship with her brother was probably the last thing that was on her mind.
