Vanitas picked up the bottle and poured the last of his drink into the shot glass. He held up the shot to Omar before downing the last of it. The bottle was primed in his hand. He could smash it over Omar's head right now but with the whole bar watching it would be a one way ticket to lock up. Van had been 'good' about not getting himself arrested. "Poor baby boy, no one is letting you have any fun tonight, are they?"

Omar growled at the demon and clenched his fists. Fun? This wasn't 'fun', he wanted this freak to die! Omar broke out of Thorn's grip and leapt again at Vanitas, swinging back to punch the guy in the face as hard as he could. He hadn't wanted to throw the first punch but that had been before all the insults. Now he just wanted someone to die. Preferably someone with spiky black hair and golden eyes.

Vanitas grinned. If he let his hit land, he would then be able to press 'assault charges' against this singer. Coupled with the bruises from the night before from his scuffle with that other demon - the halfing, it would look much worse than it actually was. "You sure you wanna do that?" Vanitas mocked as the punch was swung his way. "Wouldn't want anything to happen to that little band of yours."

Omar managed to halt his punch a split second before it hit this demon. He scowled. "I'm outta here" He told the barkeep. "You know where I live. tell the manager to Mail the check there" he had to get out of there before he did something really stupid. He didn't really want a fight, he just wanted to go home and stew in misery. Who knew? Maybe it would result in a good song.

Vanitas laughed. Yet another person who wanted to start a fight but retreated before things got good. Seems like the demon was going to have to get used to this. He would be offended if it weren't so funny (even if he was the only one who thought this was the slightest bit amusing. He was usually the only one in on his jokes anyways). "Yo, bartender! I need another round," he declared since it seemed Omar was leaving.

Omar turned around and punched the guy in the back of the head. He didn't feel any better though and stared at his fist in shock. He had just punched a guy. People around him were whispering. He backed up a few steps and stopped. Oh god, what had he done?

Vanitas winced when knuckles crashed into the back of his head. "Hitting someone when their back is turned? That's how you want to play?" he asked dangerously. "Better hope that free shot was worth it." He got back to his feet and glowered at the singer. "I'm going to make you wish you were never born." He lifted the bottle that he had debated swinging earlier and let it hurl with as alarming force.

Omar winced at how dangerous the other guy sounded. Looks like he had opened a hornet’s nest. “What’s the matter pretty boy?” He taunted. “Dishing it fine but taking it’s a no no? Come on, give me your best shot!” then the bastard threw the bottle at Omar with alarming force and speed. It was too fast to dodge so Omar raised his arms and hands up and over his head. The bottle broke on his arms and cut them open, making Omar grit his teeth in pain. He lowered his hands and punched Vanitas in the face. “You gotta play rougher than that if you wanna fight me” he hissed.

Vanitas just snarled darkly, a terrifying sound emitting from his throat as he lashed out, throwing a punch into Omar's stomach. Yes, this was the fight he had been looking for the other day when he ran into that pansy demon Halfling that insisted on morals and rights that simply didn't belong in Vanitas' playbook. Sad that this fight was coming from a troll of all things but they were far more sturdy than humans were.

Omar gasped as the punch got him in the stomach and threw a punch to Vanitas' chest, and a kick to the groin. He stumbled back and took a deep breath, clutching his stomach for a moment before lunging back at Vanitas and growling. This guy had to be a demon. He fought like a demon, and Omar had fought one or two in his very long lifetime. "You are going to regret everything you said" Omar snarled angrily.

"Not likely," Vanitas replied. Shadows twisted around him as he leered at the troll before him. He didn't often use his powers but he felt it would be justified, he could kill everyone in this bar and make it look like an accident. No one would be the wiser. It would also alleviate some of that boredom he felt.
The duo were so caught up in their tussle they didn't hear the sirens going on outside of the bar. Aqua walked in alone, gun at the ready, she urged a few of the patrons out of her way. A few people ran from the bar the moment she came in, probably because they saw her shining badge but she was just trying to keep the peace. She sighed upon catching sight of what it was she was supposed to be breaking up. A bar fight. Wonderful. Probably two drunkards who got in it because they were both hitting on the same girl or something. "BPD!" she announced loudly. "Break it up!"

Oh shit. The shadows started moving and Omar once again realized he had made a huge mistake. He was, for once, extremely grateful when the police came. He raised his hands when the cop chick came in and took a large step back from his opponent. He noticed that his band members were gone and briefly wondered if this meant that the Bilge Rats were broken up, or if he could patch things over with them. "Yo, cop chick" he greeted. "Can I get one more hit in before you take us to the slammer? Please?"

"I'm afraid not," Aqua said with all seriousness to Omar, at least one of them was being somewhat decent. "Now please, hands where I can see them." She was referring to Vanitas who had yet to move, the shadows still lingered around him. He sneered at the two of them and Aqua removed the safety from her gun. She had never shot anyone on the job and was quite proud of that fact, she didn't want to start now. "I said hands where I can see them!"
Vanitas then huffed a sigh, slowly raising his hands. This was a slight inconvenience to him. Getting arrested wasn't how he had wanted to spend his night. But he let the young officer put cuffs on him, placing them behind his back. She then turned to do the same to Omar. "I'm going to have to take you both down to the precinct." she informed them before launching into the long winded Miranda Rights speech, the right to an attorney, if one could not be found, one would be provided, and all that usual jazz.

He snorted. "Well christ you're serious. I was just joking" not really and she probably knew that. He smirked as the demon was put in cuffs, that bit was quite funny to him and the demon deserved being knocked down a peg or two. He allowed the cop to put him in cuffs and sighed. On any normal day he'd be protesting loudly but this wasn't a normal day. He joined in reciting the Miranda Rights speech in some parts and rolled his eyes again. "I practically know them by heart sweetie" He told the cop woman a tad snidely. "Come on devil spawn, let's go" he called to Vanitas and began walking towards the door and the other cops.

It would have been tricky to get them both in the back of her cruiser. She was just glad that back up had shown up. She was just glad neither of them had tried to give her a hard time or fight back. "Almost perfect," she said with a wry smile. "You seem to have forgotten the bit about the right to remain silent. C'mon, you're in my car." She guided Omar over to her parked cruiser and helped him climb into the back, making sure to have him mind his head so he didn't hit it, but he seemed familiar with this song and dance. "So, do you want to talk to me? Tell me what happened before we take this downtown? If we get this sorted here, it won't go on your record."
