"Then be there for her. She doesn't need another detective or investigator going after whoever did this to her. She needs someone who'll be there to just help her through this."
As Ralph said the words, he suddenly realized he was talking to himself as much as he was talking to Weiss. Yes, he badly wanted to find the Demon who had done this to Elsa and beat them into a bloody pulp. Yes, he wanted them to pay and pay hard for hurting the woman he loved. However, he was far from the only person on the case. The whole of the BPD would be looking into this and doing their best to bring the responsible party to justice. There were more than enough people looking out for Elsa in that regard. No, the thing she needed sorely right now were those close to her, those that would support her and help her as she cope with and heal from the emotional and mental pain this had caused her.
"That should be more than enough."

Weiss was quiet for a moment as she listened. But she soon realized that Ralph was right. Just because she couldn't catch whoever did this didn't mean that she had nothing to offer. She reminded herself not to underestimate the power of simply being there for a friend. After all, her own friends had done that quite a bit after she'd gotten away from her shadow spirits and her parents. Knowing that they cared about her had given her more than enough reason to feel better. And Elsa would surely feel the same way. "Yeah, you're right." She gave Ralph a little smile. "Thanks."

Weiss seemed to think over what he had just said. And she must have thought he made sense became a moment later she agreed and gave him a small smile.
It was the first smile Ralph had seen on the young woman's face and he had to admit it made her whole persona seem a lot friendlier, not so cold and aloof. He hesitated for a moment before managing to return the gesture. It was a tired smile, but it was one nonetheless.
"Well, if you're still interested in giving her those flowers, I can tell you Elsa's still at her home last I was there. I'm sure she could do with the company."

Weiss gave a little nod. Maybe flowers couldn't cure everything, but it could least bring a little color into Elsa's room. And it would remind her that she had friends caring about her. She picked them up, glad to see that they still looked alright. Then, she glanced back at Ralph. "You wanna head over there too?" she asked. "She could probably use your company too." Friends could do wonders for someone, but having their significant other was sure to be good too. Ralph and Elsa understood each other in a way that nobody else would. And having someone like that with her was sure to comfort her.

Ralph's smile became somewhat sad at Weiss' response but he gave his head a small shake before waving at her in a friendly 'shooing' manner.
"I think one person at a time is best. Besides, I'll be around. Probably so much she'll start complaining that I'm as annoying as a fly buzzing around her head."
While his manners had improved greatly since accidentally kicking the rock towards Weiss, it was clear that he wanted to be alone to deal with his worry and anger. Elsa didn't need to see that in her current state and even this young woman who was her friend had seen enough. Better he get it out of his system so that he could be a sturdier support for her when he went back to check on Elsa.

"I don't know about that," Weiss said, giving a little smile. Elsa could probably use some hovering right now. And if it was Ralph doing it, then she'd probably be happy about it. "I'm sure we'll run into each other again while we're visiting her though," she said. "So, I'll see you then." She gave a little wave before heading off, her steps a little more confident this time around. Just because she didn't know exactly what to do to help Elsa feel better didn't mean that she was a sucky friend. Being there for her would be enough.
((Wanna end it here?))
