Elsa sighed as Yang clicked something on her computer rapidly. She understood the stress. In a way. When her clients disappeared, she would grow all the more worried. Yet her biggest worry had been the first time she and Ralph fought. It was such a stupid thing to fight over. But she supposed all couples were like that. A cheeky little smile flashes her face. “Do you have any pictures of Adrien that make you laugh. A case gets boring if you just look at ‘last seen’ shots.”

Yang glanced up. Elsa was smiling a little bit. It was clear that she wanted to try to help and get Yang's mind off of things. Well, it can't hurt to try, she thought. "I've got a couple," she said as she pulled out her phone. "We were playing around with the silly filters on Instagram. Came out with some pretty good pictures." She turned her phone around and showed Elsa a couple. The various pictures showed Yang and Adrien smiling and laughing. They'd spent a whole afternoon playing around with Instagram filters that made them look like dogs, cats, and even a couple of flower crown ones. Yang had felt like the cat one was especially appropriate, given Adrien's superhero persona had been a cat.

Els accepted the phone delicately. It was a milestone she had never been able to reach in her dating life. If she even tried now, getting Ralph to crouch so he could just fit in the camera would be the challenge in of itself. She smiled at the filters. The cat one made her laugh the loudest. “I like this one,” she pointed to it, “I always saw Adrien as a cat person. Well, a cat that acted like a dog..sort of an in between.”

Yang gave a little laugh. If only Elsa knew how accurate she was in describing Adrien as a cat person. Although the phrase "puppy love" certainly described how the two of them were when they'd first gotten together. Anyone witnessing their cutsey behavior had either thought it was adorable, or they'd excused themselves from all the excessive PDA. "I've thought the same thing myself," she said. Thinking about those days hurt a little though, in light of what was going on now. If she lost Adrien, she'd never find someone like him again, ever. It would be even worse than when her parents had died. When that had happened, Yang's fire powers had erupted, literally, and she'd killed everyone around her in less than a minute. She couldn't imagine the damage she might cause if Adrien was killed too.

Elsa smiled ruefully, handing the phone back. She hadn't closed the window of the funny cat picture. Yang needed a positive picture of Adrien, not a picture of him that was meant for a milk carton or a missing person's ad. She learned that helping people was easier when she could see them in a positive light. "Ralph is too camera shy for couples photos," she said.

Ralph, camera shy? It was hard to imagine. Ralph was such a big guy, it seemed like hardly anything frightened him. Then again, maybe his huge size made taking photos awkward. "Maybe he should get some modeling tips or something," she said jokingly. "Find out what his good side is." Adrien could probably help with that. He'd been in front of the camera himself plenty of times. And he was always striving to make sure not all his models were the "thin as a rail" type. He wanted his fashion lines to include everyone, whether they were large or small.

Elsa snickered. Yes, the big bad giant that most people were afraid of didn’t Like cameras all that much. People had been unjust to him and so it made an impact on his appearance. She glanced back the blonde haired billionaire’s picture. Society impacted him as well. It turned him into a poster boy. “Before he disappeared, he helped me get back into design work. I met the models for a line hechelped fund.” The money was to go to orphans.

Yang hadn't known that Elsa was into designing herself. But, if anyone could get her back into it, it was Adrien. He always liked finding people that were truly passionate about what they did. Yang knew that running his father's company wasn't his first choice, but he still gave it all he had. Him and Yang were similar in that retrospect. If they had a job to do, they liked to give it their all. Yang had certainly been doing that on this case, almost to the point of exhaustion. But having Elsa here was a nice distraction from the anxiety she felt. "Thanks, for hanging out with me and stuff," she said. "I really appreciate it."

“I find talking to someone makes a tough case less boring...and less anxiety enducing.” It has been why she had opened her doors to Jenna. Well, I’m hindsight it was, at first a Good Samaritan act. The heartbound has been abandoned and she decided to let her in to Ed beautiful home out of the goodness of her heart. The other reason had been to get someone to talk to. Yang needed that support. Sunshine and Shadow, who both adored the younger cop, would have been assisting however they coukd. But one was talking to Namine and the other was recovering in a hospital,

Yang gave a little nod. She could see the truth in that. Her anxiety probably wouldn't leave until she found Adrien, but at least it was resting quietly in the back of her mind for a while. It was nice to get a break from it. And with no new leads so far, taking a break right now was probably for the best. Once some new information was found, she could dive back in with full force. "Do you do the same thing before some of your big court cases and stuff?" she asked. No doubt some of them had been intimidating. Elsa had always managed to act cool despite the obstacles though. At least, that was how it looked when Yang had watched some of her cases from a few years back.

Elsa drummed her hands on her lap with a thoughtful hum. It was a thought-provoking question. She was sure that she had people who gave her some support before each trial. Ralph had begun to distance himself and so she couldn't exactly call him. Also, having a phone before going into a courthouse gave a bad impression. She had seen far too many law students playing with their phones. "You could say that I do," she answered. "I mean it's not face to face like I'm doing with you. I just look at the people I care about and then strut in, knowing I'm doing the right thing for the right people/"

Yang nodded in response. Thinking about the people you loved could be a great source of strength for anyone. Yang had done the same thing multiple times in her life. Fighting for herself was one thing, but when she fought for someone else, her fire always burned brighter. Even before she'd become a cop, she'd been that way. When she was on the streets, she'd do anything to keep her kids safe and away from the people that wanted to hurt them. And now, she wanted to make sure that her loved ones were never hurt again. "I wish I could protect them all sometimes, you know?" she said. "Like, stick everyone I care about in a bubble so nothing ever hurts them again."

Elsa gave a small smile. A sad one this time, not a reassuring one like the ones she was giving Yang every now and then. "Funny. The last time I said that a demon hovered me over a bridge and I froze 20% of the bayou." She sighed, looking down at the small bunches of frost that had gathered on her skirt. She must have activated her powers just thinking about her torment under Lilith. Yang had been lucky. "You are a good protector. It'd be unrealistic to try and keep them all safe. Things happen. I know you'll find Adrien. Because I trust no other cops besides the Other Units to get the job done right."

Yang's stomach squirmed. She hadn't meant to say something that would remind Elsa of the demon that attacked her. Even now, she could see a thin layer of ice around the woman's skirt. But at least Elsa understood what she was feeling, even if it was unrealistic. Yang knew she couldn't protect everyone. It just couldn't be done. She just had to do what she could in the time that she had. And Elsa seemed pretty confident that Adrien would be found by her and the Others Unit. That made her feel a little better. "Thanks," she said. "That means a lot, coming from you."

Elsa's smile was embarrassed. She was flattered anyone would be thinking of her so highly for just barely getting to know her. She couldn't say she was even close to Adrien. Her time in the apocalypse have got them closer together, even to the point of being friends, but she was unsure if they were in such high extremes of helping one another like Yang and Adrien were. She was a romantic, though. "Aww, flatterer."
