"Sweet! I caught two siblings trying to steal from the back of my van. To be honest they weren't getting very far. Assured them I wouldn't call the cops and I knew someone who could help em if they could just hold on a couple days" he sipped his drink and winced at the pain in his arms as it suddenly flared up. He rubbed his arms with a sigh. "Broken glass hurts when it cuts you" he muttered with a roll of his eyes.

Yang nodded. This was a common way she usually found kids to take care of. She tended to catch them in the middle of stealing or pickpocketing, and she would have to assure them that she could take them to a place where they didn't have to do that anymore. Of course, Yang did stuff like that sometimes, but she tried not to. She glanced up when Omar suddenly winced, and he mentioned how broken glass hurt quite a bit. Just the mere reference to the fight he had gotten into with Vanitas made her blood boil. "Guys like him make me sick," she muttered as she took another sip of her drink.

"He makes my blood boil" growled Omar. "I could barely control-no...that’s wrong. I couldn’t control myself. He just pushed all the right buttons and I ended up in a bad way” He thought of his stint in the jail and sighed. “I’ll probably have to lay low for a while. He seemed pretty pissed off that I got us in jail” Omar was just fine with behaving himself if it got him off of the hook with the demon and the cops.

Yang was a little satisfied to see that Omar hated Vanitas as much as she did. Maybe if the guy got enough enemies, he would back off. Then again, maybe he wouldn't. People like him didn't care if they pissed people off. "Well, maybe he'll do the same," she said. If Vanitas was smart, he would lie low like Omar was so he wouldn't get in trouble with the cops again. Of course, there were the odds that he would just do whatever he wanted because he could, but Vanitas wasn't stupid. Cruel maybe, but not stupid. And if he was pissed about getting landed in jail, Yang figured he'd probably avoid any behavior that would have the same result. For a while, at least.

Omar snorted and folded his bandaged arms. “I don’t think so. He seems the sort to just be more careful about the illegal activities he does. Probably won’t mess with guys in bars, but I see him trying to mess with me when I’m alone or something” Omar shrugged and sipped on his drink. It was the hazard of being so hot-tempered but it wasn’t something he was going to try and fix anytime soon.

Yang sighed. "Seems like there's no way to stop him," she said. The police obviously didn't intimidate Vanitas enough. There was no citizen that she knew of that he was afraid of. It was like the guy wasn't scared of anything. How could fight back against somebody like that?

Omar shrugged. "Bet there is a way. Just nobody's thought of it yet" he chugged the rest of his drink and got to his feet. "Well, I have to get going. It was good seeing you Yang. Glad to know you're okay and all. I'll send those kids to you soon" He saluted the blond before sauntering out of the coffeeshop.

Omar soon had to leave, ending the conversation there. But Yang didn't really want to think about Vanitas anymore anyway. The guy just put her in a bad mood. "Right. See you later," she said, waving as he headed out. She sipped on her coffee, deciding to enjoy it for a few more minutes before she left.
