"I guess our lives are pretty different, I hadn't thought about it before now.." Wally said, thinking about it. He wondered what it would have been like if they had been in a different situation, if Wally had been under so much pressure, would he have been able to deal with the expectations or would he have run off and ended up in the wrong crowd? He shook his head to wipe away that thought.
"At least now you can live how you want right? I mean sure the expectations are still there but now maybe its a little easier?"

"Yeah, I guess these kind of expectations are the ones that regular adults go through," Weiss replied. "Making sure you do your job well, making enough to pay bills, remembering to write everything on your grocery list so you don't have to take 10 million trips in a week." She gave a little laugh. Sure, being a voodoo queen was a bit different than other jobs adults had. But it had expectations and stresses she had to deal with, just like people had to at any other job. And getting used to live on her own was certainly something every adult went through.

"Don't forget about making sure you have enough clean clothes." Wally pointed out with a laugh. "That one can get you when you least expect it." Living alone was a big step and certainly changed the way people looked at the world, once they got out from under their parents' wings they had to face the fact that they were growing up.

"Tell me about it," Weiss agreed. She'd been trying not to let her laundry pile up, although sometimes, it was inevitable. "How do you like the pizza?" she asked. She felt like it was pretty good, considering it wasn't the high-end food she'd been raised on. Although, to be honest, that was probably why it tasted so good.
