Omar smiled slightly, pleased the cop agreed with him. "I don't think I could handle the big time to be honest" he confessed. "Once upon a time I was a simple troll. Hunting for food, sleeping in caves, that sort of thing. Then I got an apartment, turned to making an actual living...deep down I'm still the simple guy that lived in a cave. I'm still a troll"

Shadow nodded. He had put away trolls before, and the fit the mold Omar has been describing. The only time "food" was a problem was when innocent people were on the menu. At least Omar wasn't one of them. "Which complex?" he asked, "I've got a place in Frog Prince." He shrugged. Hey, he didn't pick the goofy name, it was just a good balance of rent and living.

Omar shrugged. "Ohm Village" he said, and raised an eyebrow with a smirk at the name of Shadow's apartment complex. "The 'Frog Prince?' Does it have an actual talking froggy with a prince complex as the guy who owns the place? Because that'd be absolutely funny" he chuckled and got out of his seat. "Well, I've gotta clean up my share of the equipment. Gotta get to my apartment anyway. I'm going to have dinner with my daughter tomorrow; need to clean up"

Shadow returned the smirk. "Oh, god, I wish. At least kisses are an easy rent payment." Omar then dismissed himself, and the cop just looked over with a miz of disappointment and understanding. It had been a long time that he actually had the chance to just...sit and talk with anyone who wasn't Sunshine. Or the Colt brothers. "I won't keep you. Also," with a flicking motion, he threw a card to Omar, "keep this. Just so you have at least one cop you can trust."

Omar laughed, the first actual laugh in a long time. "Man that'd be funny though. A whole line of people just waiting to kiss the talking frog guy. Priceless" he caught the card and spared it a glance before giving Shadow a strange look. He put the card in his pocket. "Sure man. I guess if you want to fill that slot it's open" he paused and shrugged. "If you want to do this again, you know where I am most nights" with a final wave he walked over to where his guitar was and then was off.

"Yeah." That comment was just made quietly. Honestly, Shadow was just as surprised as Omar was at how well this had turned out. But, no doubt, he'd be back to hear the troll and his group play again.
