(It wasn't my intention to upset you. I'll go back and edit those things out. I'm sorry. I might have sped read through some of the responses and on mobile it's hard to look at your response when typing mine. I'll make sure to be more careful in the future.)
Axel turned back to the bar, mixing Moses another bourbon with cherries since he hadn't asked for anything different. He didn't change anything about the mixing process. Mixing things like that was almost second nature by now. Hell, Axel was pretty sure he could mix these things up in his sleep. Certainly helped on the days when he was the one hung over.

Moses took back the drink when it was brought to him and nodded. It had been made the exact same way as before, this was good. The guy didn't try to surprise his customers with something they didn't order. Probably lead to a lot less ticked off people. "So, you got anyone, or is it just you then?" Moses asked with frank curiosity.

"For now. It's not so bad until there's a rush." Axel said. "We're still trying to build up a reputation after the last bartender let the place slide."
But Axel enjoyed the rushes. It meant more people, more drinks and more challenges. Granted, customers got rowdier when there were more drunks congregated in one place, but he liked that too, seeing as they would provide some entertainment to the otherwise bored demon. A life for a demon on the 'right side' of Johnny Law could grow to be boring unless he injected himself into other people's problems, even if it was just being an 'agony aunt' and soundboard of sorts. He would bet he first to admit he wanted a fight or two but he wasn't exactly looking to start one either.

That hadn't been what he meant but he figured he better not pry into the guy's love life if he was misinterpreting the question. Moses shrugged. "You seem to be doing a pretty good job. This place is more full than I've heard it's been in a while" he sipped on his drink and looked around and nodded. "Yea, way more full. But that is both a good and a bad thing. How many fights have ya had to break up?" he grinned and chuckled.

"Depends on how many stupid people think they can get away with one." Axel said. "I've been known to have a bit of a temper." His infamous short temper kept a lot of the patrons in check. There hadn't been any spontaneous fires, but the temperatures have risen a few times. It also explained why he didn't date. Temper like his made it hard to keep any relationships, let alone romantic ones. People were afraid of fire, just as much as they were afraid of the person that could control it. He only had the people he talked do on the other side of the bartop. Most of it was just him listening about someone tell him about how terrible/great their life was. He was okay with that for now.
"Been too busy to do much else but keep bar these days." he admitted. "Finally trained the staff up enough so that I feel safe leaving them unattended. Any suggestions for my next day off?"
