"...I was run outta th city when I was a kid. Went from bein a street kid here to bein a street kid somewhere else. Sure, It's obviously become more tolerable, but I haven't seen much yet to change my mind" she shrugged and smiled at his own little joke. "So fiery I'm practically smokin out me ears" she quipped with a grin.

"I'm sorry that happened to you." Axel said sincerely. "But you haven't met the other people who come in here. Let's see... There's this woman who comes in once a week. She didn't even bat an eye when I told her what I was."
And he was sorry she had a tough childhood. He had it rough as a kid too. One street orphan to another. He had at least become more social and found people who didn't care what he was because either they were used to the strange and unusual (like Anna) or were just as equally strange and unusual (like Shadow). Red just hadn't met the right people yet, the ones who didn't care you were strange. While there were people who couldn't accept them, there were also those who would welcome them into the fold with open arms.
"Of course we're hot," Axel said almost jokingly dismissive.

Red smiled. "I'll get acquainted with em sooner or later. But fo now I haven't met anyone. Well. I did meet a giant and a frosty lawyer, but th summonin neva came up. They just think I'm just a bounty hunter" She wondered what Elsa and Ralph would say if they knew she had summoning skills and some powers over lesser demons and spirits. The BPD knew, but not them. Red grinned. "Suga, we lava"

"Hmm... Nope. Never met those two." Axel mused. "But still, there are good people out there. Just give 'em a chance."
And Red did have a few people she met. So she wasn't completely alone in the big city. Naturally, she was welcome back at the bar any time she liked. He would serve her as many drinks as she needed and/or wanted. If they did go in on a partnership of bounty hunting, he might have a few of those on the house. Depending on how well they worked together, but he would wait until they did a job before he decided that one.
"Of course!" he laughed along.

"You'll probably meet em sooner or later. Or I'll meet some o th people you talk about eventually. Eitha works" she laughed and shrugged. "Only good humans I eva met are both dead. But okay Axel, I'll give it a chance. Hopefully nobody dies on me" she was mostly serious even if she did pass it off as a joke. She finished her wings and knocked back her drink. "Okay, I gotta go. But I'll contact ya if I need ya fo a bounty" she paid and waved at him cheekily before slipping off the stool and sauntering away, trails of eyes following her.

"You'd be surprised. Humans are quite sturdy in this area." Axel said.
He took the same light tone as she did, but he was serious as well. He left her alone for a bit to let her finish her meal and drinks in peace. She didn't need him hovering over her while she ate, plus he had a few more drinks to mix. When he came back, it was time for her to go. She likely was heading home to catch up on her sleep, something he would be doing shortly thereafter. Still sounded so nice.
"You know where to find me, Red." he said. "I'll see you around."
(End)
