'Eve' let her smile grow a bit more on her lips and gave a small nod at Weiss's words.
"Oh, good! Well, should you ever need my assistance I think all you need do is tell one of your spirits to find me. I'm quite certain they can. And who knows? Perhaps I will see you around Bellerouge."
The words were kind enough, but Lilith knew that she wasn't about to let Weiss just slip away. No, she might turn out to be quite a valuable pawn and would be certain to keep an eye on her. Her spirits might know what she was and never trust her, but Weiss had played into her hands easily.

Eve seemed pretty cheerful at hearing that. It was different, from how she was when Weiss had first met her. She had been so shy not too long ago. But, it looked like there was more to her than meets the eye. Obviously, she knew quite a bit about dark magic, and was even a fan of Weiss practicing it as well. Weiss wasn't sure if she had any devious intentions or not, but either way, it looked like she was going to be her only source of information for a while. It could take some time for Weiss to find some books about this subject, and until then, Eve was the only one who knew about this stuff. She glanced at her spirits. They seemed reluctant at the idea of being the go-between between her and Eve. Weiss frowned.
"Stop being so paranoid. How am I supposed to introduce you to people if you're so distrustful?"
The spirits didn't reply for a moment. And once they did, it was inside Weiss's head instead of out loud.
She's powerful. Powerful people have the potential of being dangerous if they decide to turn their powers on you. You could be the same, once you become stronger.
Weiss wasn't sure how to feel about that. She wanted to be powerful, sure. But dangerous? That seemed a bit too far. Then again, was there such a difference between the two? Riku could be considered dangerous, even though he used his powers for good. Same for her parents. Maybe dangerous wasn't such a bad thing to be, especially if it meant people would stop messing with her. She glanced up when Eve spoke again, saying that they might run into each other in the city sometime.
"Yeah, perhaps," was all she said in reply. She didn't mean to come off as so distant, but Eve and her shadow spirits had given her a lot to think about. She needed some time to ponder over it all and think about what she was going to do next. "Well, goodbye then. And...thanks for your help." She headed out of the alley, her spirits glaring at Eve as they passed. Once she was back on the street, her spirits ducked out of sight. Weiss sighed. The way they vanished sometimes, it was like they were never there in the first place. It was an odd feeling. Regardless, she set off for home, her mind already turning over what had happened.

"Goodbye, Weiss."
'Eve' gave her a smile and a wave as the young woman disappeared back towards the entrance of the alley with her shadows in tow. Soon enough, the girl was gone but she didn't immediately follow in her wake. Instead, she gently looped the braided hair between her fingers and stretched it tightly between her hands.
The smile was still on her lips, but it had changed from a friendly, gentle look to a sinister thing, the smile a predator might make just before it sinks its teeth into the unwitting prey before it.
"And good luck, my dear."
As Lilith spoke, her form seemed to flicker for just an instant and in that brief flash she looked just like Weiss.
