Adrien didn't know what compelled him to take on the mask again. He had been under house arrest until the bruise Yang gave him healed up, then he had been kept so busy that the moment his day was over he opted to sleep and often forwent meals because he was utterly exhausted. But being on the rooftops again was like a weight off his shoulders. It was peaceful. The city was asleep, like he should have been, but he needed out of that stifling house. He debated going to go check on Yang, but wondered if that was a good idea now that she had neighbors. They could see him going in and out of her house or say something to the wrong person...
Upon hearing a noise, Adrien stopped in his tracks. Noises weren't unusual but with circumstances the way they were, you could never be too careful these days. He peered over the edge of a building. Curiosity peeked. Things had been tense lately. Especially since Thrax - a psycho demon - decided to break into prison for giggles and let loose every criminal that had been inside. The police managed to catch quite a few but there were some that were still at large. The police could only catch them so fast.

Wally West, had thought that today would have been one of his easier days. In a place like this though, the boy had realized quickly that easy was not in the book. Despite most criminals having taken to the shadows to do their dirty work, there were those who were not very bright. Keeping his identity secret was easy enough during crowds but in empty alleyways and especially during the day it got harder.
The said noise, that the other boy had heard was a small brawl being taken care of. Or rather a sign of assault. A fool had decided to think that no one was going to pay attention to rough play to a poor female. Not on Wally's watch though. It could have been worse but wally still felt uneasy about letting anyone get away with things like that. He rubbed his masked eyes, as the man took off down the street.
"Couldn't they at least make it a bit more of a challenge?" he asked out loud.

Adrien touched his mask. The domino was still in place and his identity still concealed. After Yang managed to punch it off, he felt so anxious about it, even going as far as to get a better glue, one he wouldn't sweat off. But that only made taking the mask off harder, but his focus was torn. There was another man wearing a mask. How curious. So the thief nimbly climbed down the side of the building, staying perched on a fire escape above the young man.
"That's the right Cat-titude." he teased.
This could go one of two ways. The way the police where they tolerated him at best, but knew they should arrest him at worst or the way of Yang, where she actually liked him. He would prefer to be liked. It made things so much easier, but then harder at the same time because then he had to avoid those same people when he was outside of the mask. Which was why, despite as much as he wanted to, he couldn't go to Nevermore. Or near police in general. Secret identities made things so difficult sometimes.

The young man didn't want to bother with a petty crime like this at all. He liked action but drunks and idiots like this needed to learn to respect women, heck respect anyone. So, why not just scare the pants off of him, not by the cops. (Not that they cared much to even look at pathetic crimes like this.) Wally didn't want to say he hated the way the cops did things but it beat the alternative of just killing a criminal like he knew some people would do.
The voice turned his attention away for the moment. Another masked human. Maybe another hero. Was he a cat? At least that's what he thought. And was that a cat-pun? "Yeah, well, a hero's work is never done." he turned his gaze half way to watch the man get a little further away. 'Just a little further. Give them a bit of sense of relief before crashing into it.'

"Well seems you've got a runaway, hero."
Adrien leaned his head against the railing, his leg dangled ever so slightly. A very cat-like pose. At ease and relaxed. He could see a man running from the alley where the two of them were hidden out. It was a scrambling, frantic, fear laden run. Was this 'hero' not what he claimed to be? It could be that this mask clad man - minus Adrien himself - had been bullying the other before he showed up. He had to play this one by ear, see if this guy was as good as he claimed to be.
"Why is he running?" he asked.
He might have taken a conversational tone, but until he knew that he could trust the other masked guy, Adrien had to be careful. Just because someone wore a mask it didn't make them a good guy. It didn't make them a bad guy either.

Wally glanced over his shoulder, giving a small smirk. "Oh, that. Right. I kind of caught him trying to assault a poor lady in this alley." he rubbed his neck. Thankfully the lady had not been too roughed up, and while shaken had thanked him before running off. "I try to give them a false sense of security of thinking they can get away before I do this."
He didn't really give the other male a chance to blink if he did that, if anyone else saw what the boy had done, it would just look like a yellow blur. The runaway was surprised to find that he had been knocked to the ground. Wally sighed though as he made his way back. "Doubt it will do much but maybe it will teach him a lesson that when a lady says no, she means it."
A goofy yet confident grin remained on his face as he stared at the fellow masked hero. He couldn't help but wonder if he was part cat or if it was just to go with the costume theme? "The name's Kid Flash at least that's what people have called me."
It wasn't the best introduction he could make but the young man wasn't ready to give out a first name until he really could trust the other.

"False sense of -?"
He didn't have time to question it. One minute the man in yellow was there, the next he was knocking the runner to the ground. That guy wouldn't be getting up for a while after a hit like that. Adrien leaned forward, not denying his surprise. That could be bad. If this guy thought of himself as some sort of super hero and found out about Adrien's extra curricular activities - namely theft - then things might not go so well. He stole from the rich and corrupt, but stealing was stealing. He shook his head. Play it cool. Calm. Collected.
Then the other was back, just as fast as he had disappeared or whatever he had done. Adrien remained sitting. His leg dangled and he was swinging it back and forth. It was either that or start to twirl his tail, but he didn't feel like it. Kid Flash. The blurry trick? So that meant this guy was super fast, right? Like Shadow. Maybe faster? He didn't know. He hadn't been around Shadow at his top speeds. Sunshine would probably have a better guess than he did. But if he was really trying to fight crime, he supposed it wouldn't hurt to point him to the few detectives that actually cared about the city.
"Chat Noir," Adrien intoned. "I take it you're new to town. Would have heard about you otherwise."

Chat Noir. If Wally's french was any good (which to be honest, was not very good at all) that meant Black Cat. It was a bit obvious but it made sense with his outfit. At least he seemed nice after it all. Though, something made Wally wonder if he should have not shown him his powers at all. It didn't seem like the fellow was dangerous at all.
If he had been, then he probably would have prevented Wally from stopping that assaulter. "Nice to meet ya Chat." he said, keeping the goofy grin remaining. Green eyes lowered from meeting the other's gaze. "I am more new to doing this whole thing than the town but I am still getting used to everything around here. It is a lot different than the other towns I've lived in."

"New to the vigilante stuff?" Adrien guessed. "Looks to me like you have the basics so far."
It certainly did. He had the morals, the powers, the suit, he was combat ready. Adrien nearly chuckled. This guy was likely to do the city a lot of good. Still, if he was a rookie like he said, someone had to caution him. Things in the city might seem calm, but there was a powder keg ready to blow any minute. Vanitas. Thrax. Cinder. They were not good people and all of them were out there haunting the city and mucking things up.
"I'd be careful if I were you though. There was a big prison break a few days ago. A demon busted in and let a lot of paw-ful people out." Adrien cautioned. "If you're ever in trouble, the BPD has an Others unit. They're good people."
He was speaking from experience. Like an alley cat that was proudly boasting of the 'second' family he had that fed him. Whereas Adrien's relationship with the BPD was more of a you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours. A give and take. He gave them targets and he took off before they could arrest him. So far it had worked out.

Good people? Wally used to hold a grudge against the police, after all, no one was able to find who had burned his house down a few years ago. "Yeah, well, that took a lot of time to do, believe me, when i got these, I was a mess, tripping over my own feet and running into walls." It was almost funny to think about that now.
His eyes widened at the thought of a demon breaking in to a jail just to let some criminals out. He couldn't imagine how many people were hurt, those guards. The words of the BPD hadn't gone unnoticed, he had heard many things about them on the streets. It wasn't abnormal to hear about a big group like that.
The boy scratched the back of his head. "Sounds like they will have their hands-full tracking down everyone that broke out." That would make the streets more dangerous. "I'll keep them in mind," he had no doubt that trouble would find him though, if trouble found them then they would have to catch him.

"Oh, trust me, it was a cat-astrophe when I learned how to use mine." Adrien said.
His claws were destructive. His very touch made things wither and die or rather age intensively. He had been utterly terrified of his powers. Mostly because his father was anti-Others. People with powers were distasteful to his father. Which made Adrien feel like he had to hide that. He had been so terrified of getting caught. Luckily, even the public didn't know, aside from the police but they had only seen Chat Noir use the power. Not Adrien Agreste.
"Sure they do, but they'll need as much help as they can get if you're willing to lend a paw." he said.
He was. Nothing was more important to Adrien than protecting the city. It was his home after all. If he wanted it to get better, he had to actively do something to improve it and conditions for others.

Wally raised an eyebrow. So many cat-puns. Was it a tick? Maybe it was a force of habit. It didn't matter though, it made him feel a little better knowing that he hadn't been the only one with power difficulties. Chat also seemed to know the ups and downs of the city better than he did. Which was useful in its own way.
"Sounds like you've been doing this for awhile huh." Wally smirked. "A real alley-cat bringing hope to others, I can't imagine what the newspapers think of you."
It was a joke of course, and despite having known each other for only about a minute, Wally already liked the fellow hero. They seemed very much alike, almost like brothers. At least the Other Unit was doing its best, based on what Chat was saying, demons roaming around, that was nothing for regular cops to handle. "You seem to know a lot about the Others Unit, do you work with them?"

"For a while," he confirmed. "Oh I wouldn't believe everything I read in papers if I were you. They have a way of twisting things."
Like only reporting that he stole from the rich. They left out the part where the people got their money through shady means or they were all but blue collar black market criminals in the making. He would take whatever the media threw at him. He was after all, just as masked vigilante. Image and appearance didn't mean much to him as Chat Noir. He could have the entire city after him and not care, because he knew he was doing something good and worth while. He was protecting the city from the rich and powerful and bringing those same people to their knees. Now if the mask came off, image was very important. He had to constantly be careful. Granted, it was the family image.
"I work with them from time to time. When the situation calls for it." he shrugged. "There's an officer named Shadow. He's probably as fast as you are. I would love to see that race."
Adrien wouldn't miss that race for the world. He could already see it, people placing wagers, a running track and it'd be fun.

Wally's smile and eyes became bright at the idea of someone being just as fast as he was. It would be a nice change of pace. "Shadow. Sounds more like a vigilante name than a cop name. But I guess you can't judge everyone based on their names." Gaze went back to the man who was still unconscious. He would have to drop him off at the cops at some point, maybe after that he could check out the other units.
"So, what brought you here. Clearly it wasn't just to watch me show off my sweet moves." he said crossing his arms over his chest with a confident smirk. "Just doing your rounds as a fellow hero?"

Adrien chuckled to himself. Shadow was one of a kind. Literally. His situation took a lot of getting used to, namely on his part. But some things were cleared up, minus the whole, whatever happened to the girl that haunted Shadow's every waking moment. Maria. Hopefully, Shadow's partner Sunshine would get to the bottom of it.
"Trust me, you'll know him when you see him." he said.
He glanced over to the thug that Kid Flash had downed. Still out. Good. Adrien was still exhausted from his week and chasing down someone that night seemed so... much effort. He literally needed to go to sleep, but was too wired to do so. It was unhealthy and he would regret it tomorrow, but he needed to get out of his house or he would scream.
"Patrol for now. I was going to go out tomorrow to drop off stuff for some of the families around here..." he said. "Food, clothes, the usual..."
