"Yeah, there are some...people like that, at the hospital," Yang replied. "I guess they decided to lump together physical and mental doctors for everyone." It was a bit convenient, having them all together in one place. But Yang wasn't sure how much mental progress she was making. She hadn't been going as often as she should, not because she was feeling better, but because she felt like she had nothing new to report. She was already worried about bugging her friends too much with what she was feeling, she didn't want to do the same with her doctors. She knew that was their job and all, and she was getting better with opening up, but that didn't mean that the fear still wasn't there. She had to laugh though, at Adrien's reluctance on having to share her with anyone. "I don't want to share you with anyone either," she said. She knew nobody was about to steal Adrien away from him, that pretty girls wouldn't turn his head, but jealousy had always been there with Yang when it came to Adrien. It wasn't huge or anything. She wasn't about to pounce on a girl that he was friends with, like Sunshine. Still, anytime she thought about him being surrounded by air-headed models, she felt her doubts and insecurity creep back in. Maybe telling people that she and Adrien were together would help with that. Adrien seemed pretty fine with the idea. "I like the sound of that," she said, smiling again.

"That... we'll get you one just for you. So he can pay attention to you better. If you're in a group like that they might just see you as another patient."
Just another number. Adrien might have felt differently because Yang was special, but to most of those doctors at the hospital, they were just trying to get through their day. They had a lot of patients to see and Yang would just be another one of them. The hospitals were too crowded as it was. There weren't enough doctors to go around but perhaps finding one who had the time to take on patients privately could help. And if Yang had a new doctor he may be able to help her with things that her old doctor couldn't.
"I'm yours," he reassured her.
He didn't have eyes for anyone else. He might have flirted with people but realized that the more and more he saw Yang, the less and less he did that. He hadn't flirted with Sunshine in months, though his nickname for her stayed. She was very regal and dignified. 'My Lady' just happened to work quite well for her. Princess was his automatic go to for Yang. She was a princess. A real diamond in the rough. Special and radiant. But that might just be his adoration for her talking.
"Then we go on vacation," he decided.
They would tell their friends and then go relax somewhere. Maybe one of the islands his family owned. That would be nice. Plus it was getting hot. Swimming would be nice.

"I don't know. I'm not sure I'd like all the scrutiny if I was one-on-one with someone," Yang said. "Group stuff kind of lets you...go at your own pace, you know? You don't have to say anything if you don't want to." Being with a therapist on her own was enough to make her stomach squirm. A situation like that would probably lead to her hearing things she might not want to acknowledge. She knew opening up was a problem for her, and that she had a hard time letting go of the past. A therapist would probably point that out from the get-go. Yang felt it better to avoid something like that. Part of her knew that that was just another way for her to deny some of her problems, but she felt like she wasn't ready to handle that stuff. Problems like that had been going on with her long before she had lost her arm. They'd take a lot of work to fix, and the daunting prospect of it scared her. Couldn't Adrien just be her therapist or something? He was already making her feel better. She practically beamed when he said that he was hers. Being alone with him at some distant place made her more excited than she had felt in a long time. These days, it was hard for her to feel a positive emotion for very long, let alone one that was intense. But Adrien seemed to be the exception to that rule. "Just so you know though, once we're outta here, my self control is probably going to be thrown out the window," she warned, her fingers gently brushing against his skin. Getting things too heated up right now was a bad idea, but once they were out of the city, they wouldn't have to worry about that. And Yang wanted to take advantage of every opportunity she had.

"Okay, at your pace then," he said.
He smiled at her. If she wanted to stick with the doctor she had then more power to her. She knew what was best for her after all. He was just the guy with the money to make almost anything happen. It might actually be good for her to have the group. To see there were others going through what she did and that it was okay to go at her own pace. He would just have to listen to her more and pay attention more (not like that was asking too much of him) to make sure that things were going the way they should. That she was getting everything she needed.
"That's fine," he said. "It'll just be us and we can do whatever we like."
He had to fight the urge to lean into her touch. She was warm. Perhaps it was because she was partial phoenix. He hadn't noticed before because he mostly tried not to touch her. Since him touching things when he was emotionally unstable was not good.

Yang knew that if the idea of the two of them doing whatever they wanted made her excited, Adrien was probably feeling it even more-so. She'd always been relatively free, able to make her own choices and do what she wanted. Adrien had never had that kind of freedom. The idea of him being able to do whatever he wanted, and with Yang besides, probably thrilled him. This house was no long a cage to him. He could do what he pleased and make decisions for himself. And the joy he felt in that made her happy as well. Both of them might have things that held them down, but if they were together, they could get off the ground, at least for a little while. She couldn't help but smile as her forehead gently touched his. "I might have to leave soon," she said. "Otherwise, I'm gonna kiss you again and I don't know if I'll be able to stop." His lips were already a few inches from his. She wanted to close the distance, despite the fact that she knew that they couldn't get too carried away here. Her self-control was already leaving her, only because this was the happiest she had felt in a long time. And she wanted to keep that high going as long as possible.

"That's-" he cleared his throat. "Yeah, I'll have Tom drive you home again."
He would do it himself, but he didn't trust himself behind the wheel of a car when he was this tired. He wouldn't risk crashing. Not with Yang in the car. And Tom didn't mind. He was actually surprised by Adrien's request but agreed to it. He leaned in and placed a lingering kiss to her cheek. Had to keep things chaste or they would do something they regretted by moving too fast. A confession was good for the day, a few kisses were delightful. Still, it was nice to know he wasn't the only on affected by the other's mere presence.

Adrien's kiss was sweet, and Yang knew she'd have to be satisfied with that for now. She was sure she'd come off this high once she had had some time to process everything that had happened, but for now, she felt like she was on Cloud 9. Maybe that was why she had a hard time controlling herself right now. She was just so giddy. She may not have been fully put back together, but she felt a little less broken than before. That had to count for something. And she hoped she made Adrien feel a little less broken too. Tom was called over, although it still took her a moment to actually leave. "I'll...see you around," she said before finally detaching herself from him and leaving the room. Still, she lingered to give him one more smile before disappearing from view. It seemed like another unexpected event had happened in her life. And for once, it was a happy one.

"Yeah, I'll see you." he said.
He almost wanted to offer to let her stay the night but that was a bad idea in itself. Two teenagers, both emotionally jarred by tragic events, who just confessed they loved each other in the same house at night. Yeah, that was a recipe for disaster. At least until they were further along in their relationship. Yang was the wise one of the two at the moment. He could only admire her for it more. But he walked her to the door and 'handed' her over to Tom's care. Tom would get her home safe. That much he could trust.
"Bye, Princess."
