Adrien broke away first, as he tended to do. Yang wasn't sure if he was gong to call it quits before things escalated too far, but he planted soft kisses on her cheeks and her forehead and she sighed contentedly. "That feels nice," she said, her voice quiet. It was always the gentleness of it all that she loved the most. Adrien's hugs were fierce and protective, but his hands and lips were always gentle with her. Sure, he may have started off doing that because she had been pretty fragile after losing her arm. But it was also just part of his nature. He was a gentle person, only getting harder if the situation called for it, like the paparazzi being too nosy for their own good.

"You drive me crazy sometimes," he chuckled.
He was probably smiling like an idiot around her. She probably didn't realize the effect she had on him. She made him want to give her the world, but he knew she wouldn't accept it. She was happy with things the way they were. But by being with her, he realized he liked that as well. He didn't need all the money in the world to be happy. If every moment they had, could just be this, he could be very happy. The two of them together... He couldn't ask that of her. Not when she wanted to be a police officer. Duty would call her away. He almost laughed since he would be like one of those worried house spouses who paced until their lover came back.

"I could say the same thing about you," Yang replied, laughing a little. When Adrien was around, Yang just wanted to cling to him and never let go. Just being near him made her happy. She had her own fire inside her, and it was just now coming back after being gone for months. But Adrien always had this glow about him, and it could easily attract others. You couldn't help but smile when he was around. At least, that was how Yang felt. Maybe that was just her own bias speaking. When it came to loved ones, they could do no wrong, most of the time. There were always exceptions, like Moses and Vanitas hooking up. That was still a sore subject for Yang, and she tried not to think about it too much.

Adrien settled down next to her. They were still tightly entangled but he wasn't about to change that any time soon. Not when he was comfortable right where he was. They were deliriously happy and drunk off one another's presence. Not a bad way to be drunk, he supposed. Not when the 'high' was that wonderful. Then he shook his head. He was comparing Yang to a drug. Which she sort of was. Kissing her alone was addicting.
"I'm glad... that everything that's happened hasn't scared you off." he said.
First the whole secret identity. Then the media swarming and attacking. His father's death was another roadblock. Now this half sibling he had no idea about. Yang had been surprisingly tolerant of all the drama that being around him brought up.

"I've faced scarier things," Yang replied. "Paparazzi and secret identities are nothing compared to crazy demons and gang members." Compared to Thrax and Cinder, any drama related to Adrien was a walk in the park. The paparazzi wasn't so overwhelming anymore, now that she wasn't so self-conscious anymore. Although they no doubt wanted to give her a lot of space to avoid getting punched in the face again. And they knew Adrien would go off on them if they tried anything fishy. Adrien was a gentle guy and all, but when he got mad, he got seriously mad. The whole incident where Yang had punched a reporter was probably the angriest she had seen him.

"Think of all the trouble we could get into together," he teased.
He could already see any future interactions with the paparazzi going in his favor. They would be too afraid to invoke her ire. Or her fists. He would want to throw a big party for her once she graduated from the police academy and invite all of her friends. She would have access to every piece of criminology tech that he could get his hands on to make her job easier, so she would be successful. The funny thing was, she had him planning for the future, whereas before he met her, he was just living each day.

"Wasn't me turning a new leaf meant to avoid getting into trouble?" Yang teased back. Still, given that her temper could still be pretty fiery, avoiding trouble altogether was probably impossible. And if she became a police officer, dealing with trouble would be part of her job. At least that way though, she'd be able to deal with it more effectively than when she was on her own. Facing problems was always better when you had a few friends by your side. And if she made it onto the force, she'd have plenty of those. And even those who weren't officers would still have her back. Knowing that she'd never have to face anything on her own again made her happy.

"Maybe but we can still get into legal kind of trouble," he said.
Besides, people expected bad behavior from a model like him. At some point they wanted to see him fall, to make them feel better about themselves. Like learning Adrien suffered from a non-existent drug problem. Or that he would have to go to rehab. Or that he did something recklessly stupid, hurt himself and had to go to the hospital. His fans would adore the tragic aspect of any story they could spin, which was why Adrien avoided those things.

"Remind me to look up on that later," Yang said. "Although the law book I checked out from the library is pretty thick. It's like an encyclopedia or something." It was a bit tiresome to go through, but she knew she'd have to know it by heart eventually. At least the physical side of her training was going well. Shadow and Ralph both brought their own perspectives to the table, and they worked well together. It made Yang wonder what the two had gotten up to back in the day, before she even knew them. They obviously knew each other well and had a history.

"If you need a quiet place to study, there's plenty of rooms here. And dad had a pretty weird collection of books." Adrien said.
A room to study was the least Adrien could do, aside from offering to have a teacher come in to show her everything she would need to know to pass a written exam. That seemed excessive. But a celebration for her and her friends did sound nice, once she became an officer that was. Something low key, granted he was an Agreste. Low key wasn't exactly something that came easily to him. But for Yang he'd try.

"Maybe. Or I can hide under your desk with a book while you do your work," Yang teased. She wasn't sure if studying here was better than at home, but she was always up for spending more time here. And who knew, maybe a change of scenery would do her some good. Not that she didn't like her place, but she didn't really have a study and if she had her book on the sofa, it was always too tempting to take a nap or turn on the T.V. She'd never been the most studious of people. Even when she'd been in school, she'd been on the average side more than anything else.

"What? Not the blanket fort type?" he teased.
He would never get anything done if Yang were in his office while he was trying to work. She was too distracting as it was. Even now, they had forgotten about the movie for a make out session and cuddle party, not that he was complaining. He was actually thrilled about it. He was happy right where he was. He wouldn't change it for the world. If he were more cat-like he would perhaps be purring since he was happy, warm and comfortable sharing the seat with Yang.

"Maybe we should save that for your room," Yang replied with a smile. Blanket forts were nice and all, although she felt like she could cuddle with Adrien anywhere. Having their dates alone let them be as affectionate as they wanted without anyone complaining about PDA. "I think my kids liked blanket forts more than I did though," she continued. "That was kind of their prime time entertainment, although they tended to get into fights over them when I wasn't around." It was usually the same complaints too. Louie was too bossy, Penny was being a cry-baby, Jenny kept trying to sneak in some mice she'd managed to get friendly with, etc. After that, any blanket fort stuff had to be done under Yang's supervision, so no more fights broke out.

Adrien gave a sort of awkward laugh. Yang had yet to go to his room. He was partially afraid of how she would react to it. Not because it was messy but because of how much stuff was in it. He had two parkour ramps, a basket ball hoop, a foosball table, a large collection of books as well as his new collection of dvds (which no longer had to be hidden since his father was no longer around). Needless to say the room flaunted his wealth. But it was put in by his father to keep Adrien out of trouble.
"I think the last blanket fort I made was with my mom." he admitted. "Imagine my dad trying to make one! Ridiculous, right?"

Yang gave a little laugh. "He probably wouldn't be very fond of them," she agreed. She knew that much, and she hadn't even really met the guy face-to-face. All she knew about him was what Adrien had told her, and what she'd gleamed from magazine articles and interviews. Of course, Mr. Agreste had been a pretty recluse guy, so most articles were more speculative than anything else, with maybe only one or two quotes from him. Hopefully, Adrien would give the company a friendlier face and help it seem more open. She was quiet as she thought, her hand twining around Adrien's. Playing with his fingers was something she did often, although she had no idea why. She just liked how it felt.
