If Weiss was honest, she'd admit that Wally's loss and his desire to help people reminded her of some of her friends and family. Riku, Omar, Yang, all of them had suffered so much, yet they still wanted to help others as much as they could. It was almost amazing, how generous and giving she could be. Weiss sometimes wondered if she had anything she could give back. Maybe there was some way she could help others too. But she wasn't sure how, and she doubted doing something like volunteering at the soup kitchen every week was going to impact things much. "You've got a good heart," she said, looking up at Wally. "People like you, who've gone through pain but still want to help people, we could use more of that in this city." Some might have thought it a weird thing to say to a guy that she didn't know too well, but it was honest. Weiss really did feel that way.

Wally's frown slowly turned into a bigger smile. "That's why I am here. To help in anyway I can." he replied. "Even before I got this power, I thought that there was so much violence in the world, I wanted to change it but I never figured out how. I think now is the best start." He actually felt a bit relief to tell someone about what he thought of the world. Weiss had told him so much and even if he hadn't been there with Thrax, he was glad to hear that she was speaking freely. "I guess we are both trying to help the world in our own ways."

Wally spoke with such passion about his desire to make the world a better place, it made Weiss feel like maybe he could actually do it. She wasn't sure how, but if anyone could do it, maybe he could. At his comment about how both of them were trying to make the world a better place, she gave a little sigh though. So far, she hadn't done much to help others. She'd mainly been focused on herself, which was understandable. She had a lot of issues to go through and had to get better before focusing her attention on anything else. But she wondered if there was ever a way for her to use what she had to help people, like Riku. His voodoo powers came in pretty handy when solving cases or tracking down criminals. He was using his talents to better the city rather than just the family, which was what their parents did. And speaking of Riku, her phone buzzed as it picked up a text message from him. She glanced at her phone before saying "I'd better get going. My brother's getting worried." She glanced up at Wally. "Maybe I'll...see you around?"

Wally nodded and stood up. "No problem. I gotta go continue the job hunt before it gets too late." He felt his heart leap and excitement in him. She actually said see you around. It wasn't a question, or maybe he was looking too far into it but was that a hopeful question in her voice. He would have gladly yelled "Yes." or something really weird like "Go out with me." but he held his tongue. They were starting off to a good path to a real friendship again. No need to screw that up. "Yeah, if i don't see you first."

Weiss couldn't help but smile. Wally was looking forward to see her again. She'd actually managed to patch things up and become friends with him. Although, if she was honest, she would admit that there wasn't much to patch up in the first place. Wally had been completely forgiving of her mood swings and bitchy attitude towards him. Of course, her other friends and family had too, but they'd known her for a while, and knew that she hadn't been herself. Wally had had no clue what was going on, and had forgiven her anyway. She wasn't about to forget that in a heartbeat. "Right. See ya." She gave one more smile before heading off, a slight spring in her step.
