Adeline's panic increased for a second, but then the woman's magic took effect. All her memories of their encounter were pulled away slowly, and one by one, they vanished from her mind. All that was left was a fear she was very familiar with: the fear of her demon side awakening and making her do something horrible. As her memories faded, her vision started to grow fuzzy. The woman's magic, along with her burst of demon power, had drained her almost entirely. For a brief moment, the red from her eyes completely faded, leaving only her amber color behind. Then, her eyelids fluttered shut and she collapsed.

As Lilith pulled the last of the memories of herself from Adeline's mind, the young witch swayed for a moment before finally falling unconscious to the dusty floor. The She-Demon rose slowly to her full height, looking down on the girl with eyes that still shown violently purple despite the reddish light that filtered into the space. It was hard to say just how long she stood there, observing the half-Demon witch with an expression that seemed blank but actually contained a cocktail of mixed emotions simply too vague to label.
Suddenly, twitched her head ever so slightly to the right before speaking.
"I'm glad to see you have arrived."
She finally broke her gaze from Adeline's prone form and looked into a darker recess of the backstage. A moment later three terribly beautiful young woman stepped forward, a small fraction of the girls that worked under Cruella. Indeed, they were the same girls that had been stalking Adeline and followed her back to Mina, watching as the girl fell prey to the trap laid out specifically for her. Normally, they would have wanted to kill Adeline for what she had done but they were under the strictest of orders from their Master. And those orders were to listen to Lilith.
The She-Demon let her violet eyes touch each of the girls, each in turn dropping their gaze and showing they would not challenge what she said or the orders she gave. Slowly, she spoke in her poisoned honey voice.
"I want you to take this girl and drop her off somewhere safe but far from here. She is not to be harmed in any way."
She looked down once more at Adeline, a slow and sinister smile creeping across her angel-like features.
"Yes, she will do quite well in keeping that fool of a Demon Pitchiner occupied. And by the time he realizes his mistake, it will be quite too late."
