"Oh! That's right! We were supposed to meet more to get that off the ground!" Adrien exclaimed. "I'm sorry Elsa! Hey, while you're here do you want to go see the fabric stashes my dad had? Maybe you could find something you like to make a mock up?"
It was good that she got the topic on something less doom and gloom. Besides, he had been the one to drop the ball. He should have had his people reach out to her, no he should have reached out to her to make sure that she had what she needed. They were supposed to be partners. He let her down, but he would make it up to her now. She was fed, looking a bit heartier than she had when she first stepped through the doors, maybe he had a spare room somewhere if she needed to sleep...

“I’ll just blame the end of the world and say it was a legit excuse,” Elsa held up a hand unapologetically. Adrien didn’t need to shoulder the issues he couldn’t control alone. She smiled wearily, some light returning to her blue eyes. How long had it been since she had something that she could be proud of working on? Something that didn’t involve the law? It was bettering the people in a way that didn’t involve loopholes. There was business involved, sure, but not the kind where people stepped on one another. She stared at some dusty curtains. Did she not think some beautiful damask patterns she saw on a prom gown? Eh, first the mock up, then the actual process.

"Yeah I suppose that has gotten in the way of business." He laughed.
He had been hard core into helping others survive that he forgot the business for a moment. He was willing to do whatever he had to in order to fight off the demons. He had yet to use his destructive powers. Mostly because he feared what using that on a living being would be like demon or no. Focusing on something that wasn't doom and gloom was helping him out a little. Giving him that sense of normalcy back, even if it was just temporary. Plus, Elsa looked happier too.

"I'll only let the excuse slide this time," she laughed.
With a flip of her braid, Elsa walked off with a playful saunter. Uf there was sadness in her, it was beginning to crack. No longer were the steps she placed down fractals of teaming with frost. The chill was still in her body, but it was slowly thawing. Was this how she counteracted the Vessel of Sadness issue? By surrounding herself with the opposite. She would think about it more while she sewed her mockups for her designs. Maybe it would give her a leg up not only in cheering some of the sadder people, but it would give her a sense of purpose. ((end thread))
