Weiss figured comic books would be involved. How could anyone read them and not want to be a superhero at some point? And with Kid Flash having super powers of his own, it wasn't too odd for him to want to be a superhero himself. Although it sounded like his desire to help people actually came from his mom. She sounded like a nice person, especially if she was anything like Kid Flash. "You're helping people, trust me," she said reassuringly. "Sure, most people want to be cops or doctors or firefighters or other jobs that help people. But you took the unconventional route. Not many people would think of actually becoming a superhero to help other people." She gave a little laugh. "I never thought I'd be helping people by giving benefit concerts. That's not exactly typical either."

That's right. She was singing at those concerts. He wondered if they were still going to happen with all this going on. "Yeah, but superheroes can only do so much. Can't really heal the sick or wounded with superspeed." He chuckled. His green eyes looked up to the sky. "Let's hope that every hero out there can stop this."
(sorry about the spuractic replies, muse hasnt' really been with me with this site lately)

((No worries! )) "Well, who knows? Maybe someone with healing powers will want to be a superhero too," Weiss said hopefully. "Then you can have your own Justice League thing going on." She gave a little laugh. She wasn't sure if that would actually happen, but it was still nice to think about. Kid Flash would probably be good at running something like that. "I know they will," she said. "The Others Unit is on this case and they'll figure out the solution. They always do." It was what she kept telling herself ever since this thing started. She had to have hope that the Others Unit would solve the puzzle. As she glanced up, she noticed that she and Kid Flash had finally entered Adrien's neighborhood. Most the mansions still seemed to be intact. No doubt the families that lived there had high tech and magic security systems to keep a lot of the monsters out. Weiss just hoped they could hold out. "Adrien's down this way," she said, pointing. "We're almost there."

Kid Flash gave a small chuckle. "That would be cool, but I don't think I could handle being the leader of something like that." Being a leader, that seemed like too much responsibility but then again, being the solo hero was a lot of responsiblity too. The boy wasn't sure that the Others Unit's would take to the fact that he was helping their job very well. "Let's hope so, maybe us helping will take some weight off their shoulders."
At least he hoped so. It was interesting to think of going to Adrien's house as his alter ego. Would his boss even recognize him? His red hair kind of did give him away. He hoped it wouldn't be too obvious

"Hey, don't sell yourself short," Weiss said. "It couldn't hurt to try." Weiss had never thought she'd be good at what she was doing now. Heck, for a long time, she'd been convinced that she wasn't good at being a nice person. Yet here she was, putting herself out there to help as many people as she could. She and Kid Flash finally came to the front entrance of Adrien's mansion. Weiss could see from where she was that it was kind of busy. It looked like there was a lot of people who needed help. She was about to walk forward, but something came to mind, and after a moment's hesitation, she turned to Kid Flash. "Hey, you remember the kid I mentioned Wally, who has powers like yours?" she asked. "If you see him while you're out and about doing your hero thing...can you just make sure he's okay?" She found herself turning a little red at the request, but she couldn't stop herself from asking. She was sure Wally was fully capable of taking care of himself, but she'd been thinking about him a lot since the apocalypse started. She just wanted to make sure he was alright.

Kid Flash frowned at all the people. There were so many. How long would this chaos go on? It had to stop at some point. The feeling of wanting to help even more burned inside. He had to help these people and if that meant taking down demons by killing, he would do it. At her request, the thoughts of that were drowned out by another. Tell her. Tell her who you are! The inner voice was almost overpowering. It was kind of her to be concerned.
However. it wasn't time to tell her, how would it look? Right in the middle of this situation, telling her who he was would probably make things worse. "Sure. I can keep an eye out." he said, "Though, something tells me he's out there helping people if he can."

"Yeah, he probably is," Weiss replied, smiling to herself a little. Wally had a kind heart. She just hoped he remembered to take care of himself as well, just like she was trying to. "Thanks," she said to Kid Flash as she looked up at him. "For all your help. You stay safe out there, okay?" She gave a little wave before heading inside. Kid Flash had a kind heart too. And she found herself opening up a bit more with him, just like Wally. It was kind of funny, how alike the two of them were.
((End thread?))
