So that was the reason Davie was such an asshole. He'd lost a sister. But while it may have explained his behavior, it certainly didn't excuse it. Yang had lost family of her own, after all. However, she jumped when Davie showed his true appearance. And it wasn't pretty. Omar didn't seem too fazed though. Maybe he was used to it? He certainly had plenty of experience with the fey. He told her that he'd see her out, but she hesitated for a moment. Davie looked really mad. Who knew what he might do to let out that anger. She let out a breath, reminding herself to trust Omar. He said Davie wouldn't hurt him. She had to believe that. Still, she wasn't going to let Omar be his pet forever. She'd find a way to set him free, truly free. Pushing her plate away from her, she silently stood up and backed out of the room, not taking her eyes off of Davie.

Omar watched her leave with mixed feelings. Mostly regret and relief. He wrapped his arms around Davie and kissed his head as Davie shook and started screaming. Omar held him tight, keeping his wings down and his arms pinned untill he finally relaxed. Omar helped him up and looked at Davie anxiously. Was this a trick so he could go after someone? Wouldn't be the first time. Instead Davie grinned tiredly and shrugged. "That went well" the unseelie said wryly, and Omar sighed in relief.
"Can you get to yout room? I will be up in a sec. I need to show Yang out before she starts nosing around" Luckily, Davie seemed to agree. He stumbled out of the room and Omar rubbed his face before he went to see Yang. "He's losing himself. I think it's homesickness mixed with...whatever happened to Mavka. But he needs me right now" Omar's face grew wistful. "Yang, I want to be free, but it's complicated. Because..." He looked down. "...He was the first one I loved, and that won't go away. He saved my life, and took care of me when we first started travelling together. He needs me now, like I used to"

Yang heard screaming and tried not to dash back into the room, shooting fireballs all the way. She thought she'd go crazy from anxiety as she waited for Omar to emerge. When he finally did, she breathed a sigh of relief. She was quiet for a moment as Omar talked, explaining his complicated relationship with Davie. She knew it was hard to let go of someone you loved, and she knew getting Omar free wouldn't exactly be easy. However, she looked up at him and said "I know he's your first love and all, but...I'm sure Aqua needs you now too. And you need her. You guys came together for a reason. Hell, she probably knows better than anyone how hard it is to get over a first love. Just...don't forget her, when you're with him." Davie might have cared about Omar once, but what he was doing now wasn't love. Aqua at least knew the difference between hurting someone and caring for them.

He put a hand on her shoulder. "I know Yang. He promised he'd cut me a break, let it happen. But at the moment I need to stay here. Partly because I cannot even step into his garden without being shocked. You guys all need me, I am so aware of that. But humoring him lets me out faster" he laughed a little and shook his head. "I never stop thinking of Aqua. And nothing "sexy" has happened tje entire time I've been here. I wouldn't smack him, but he so hates it when I do things wrong on purpose. So he guves me space. Believe me, I gonna be fine. I give it a week, maybe two. You'll see" he ruffled her hair and then nodded at the door. "Can't get that for ya, sorry Yang"

Omar seemed to act pretty positive, but the uncomfortable feeling in Yang's stomach wouldn't go away. She'd trust Omar on this, but she couldn't ignore the feeling that she was leaving him alone. And she couldn't do anything to save him. She let out a sigh as she approached the door. Jane, Namine, Aqua, everyone who cared about Omar wasn't going to be happy with her report. She felt like she was returning empty-handed. "I know," she said at his comment about the door. "Just know that if I don't see you soon, I'm gonna bust this door down myself, whether Davie wants my company or not." If Omar wasn't out in a few weeks, she wasn't going to be happy. She gave Omar a hug before heading out, trying to ignore the uncomfortable feeling stirring inside her. She glanced back once, promising herself that she'd help Omar out of this, whatever it took. Then she continued on her way.
