Namine giggled and affectionately rubbed Lance's ears. He leaned back against her scratching hand. His tongue lolled out of his mouth as she scratched. Her dog had been quite a game changer for a lot of things. Having him nearby helped lessen her anxiety. She wasn't as afraid to go out anymore. Her 4-legged companion also helped others too.
"To say the least. He's been... good for everyone he meets." Namine said.

"Seems like he's good for you too," Adeline commented. Most people wouldn't think it, a shy girl like Namine taking in a big, almost scary-looking dog like Lance. But the two of them fit together, and Adeline felt like Lance had made Namine a lot happier, and even a little less anxious. It was probably hard to be afraid of someone attacking you when you had a dog like this to keep you safe.

Namine rubbed Lance's ears, remembering how much easier it was to be around others now that she had Lance. The dog had taken to her immediately, just as Aqua said he would. Despite his sad start to life, he had taken to giving Namine 'leash lessons' like stopping to smell the flowers or making sure to spend time with friends.
"I think... finding Lance was the best to happen to me."

Adeline could hear the love in Namine's voice while mentioning Lance. She seemed pretty content with things. Adeline just hoped she could feel that same contentedness with her own life soon, once she got her issues with Pitch sorted out. In the meantime though, spending time with a dear friend of hers was definitely cheering her up a bit. Whatever magic stuff she had left to do could be put on hold, at least for a little bit longer. "Hey, you mind if I join you for the rest of your walk?" she asked. "I've probably practiced enough with magic and stuff for today."
((Wanna start wrapping this up?))

"Sure, we can play fetch with Lance. He needs the exercise." Namine said.
Lance's tail wagged upon the word fetch. He knew the word well but he particularly liked it when a ball was thrown for him and he brought it back. But he could also 'fetch' other things like slippers or the newspaper. Aqua had trained him to do it. He had scared the staff in Adrien's mansion when he brought in the paper before they could go and get it in the morning. So when Namine pulled out the ball from her purse and passed it to Adeline, Lance had gone as still as a statue, waiting for his chance to play.
((Sure thing!))

Lance instantly perked up when Namine mentioned playing fetch, and Adeline had to laugh at the reaction. Despite it being a Mabari, it certainly acted like any other dog when it came to things like fetch or getting scratched behind the ears. Namine handed her a ball, and Lance went as still as a statue upon seeing it. "Go get it!" Adeline encouraged as she threw it. Knowing the dog, it could probably keep this up for a long time. Adeline was content to do that though. She was actually feeling a little better and she wanted that good feeling to last as long as possible.

Namine smiled as Lance chased after the ball like his life depended on it. She hadn't imagined that spending time with others would fill her heart with warmth like this. A happiness she hadn't imagined having. But she couldn't imagine being anywhere else. It was long time in coming. But for the first time in a long time, Namine felt just like a regular girl. She had a lot to be thankful for. For now, that was enjoying the moment.
