"Are you sure this guy can be trusted?" she asked. "He is a thief."
Aqua began to gather her trash. It was worrying. A thief trying to get in with Sunshine, whether it was to distract her from arresting him or for more sinister plots. The man hadn't tried anything yet so Aqua felt it was better to give him the benefit of the doubt. For all they knew, he was a good guy, with good intentions, doing the wrong thing. Maybe Sunshine could even talk him out of his life of crime.
"Back to work I suppose," Aqua mused.

Sunshine and Elsa nodded in agreement. Lunch breaks couldn't last forever, but they were nice when they could. The lawyer picked up her briefcase, smiling at the two cops.
"Well, ladies, I'm off. Call me if you ever want to meet up."
Sunshine grinned up. "And thanks for sitting with us, Aqua. It was cool getting to know you..." But she paused. It wouldn't be fair to run ahead by leaving a new friend behind. She flipped a hair out of her eyes, looking back at the Seelie.
"I can walk you back to the desks before I run off to interrogate."

"Yeah," Aqua agreed, voice gone soft. "It was nice."
She hadn't really spoken to many people since Terra hurt her. She shut down. Better not to feel anything than get hurt again. Humans particularly worried her. They didn't have a moral code like Seelies to tell the truth. They had nothing that physically compelled them to be good and honest. At first the thought that their most redeeming quality. They were good, kind and just because they chose to be. But they could also be cruel and unforgiving.
"That'd be great." she said.

"Maybe I can get a better look at the lucky duck Anna gave you. Every cop has one, but Pitch likes to hide his." Sunshine beamed, stepping in to stand by Aqua. ((End thread))
