"I'll take you hunting some time. Get you ready for the Wild Hunt. If you want to get more into your faery roots, sooner or later you'll get invited to partake in it. Be careful though. Any soul that sees the Wild Hunt outside of its riders or quarry are doomed to roaming the earth as restless dead. Or so legend holds. Might just be the Unseelie King speaking in jest. Again" He grinned so wide he thought his face would split in two. "Alright! We'll decide a place and date some other time but yes! I get to see you again. That makes me happy. I enjoyed my time with you"

"Wild hunt? I don’t… they probably wouldn't invite me. I barely have anything to do with the Courts," Aqua tried to insist.
Minus the whole, reporting back to the Seelie Queen for a year. Knowledge traded for knowledge, the Queen had said. Power for power, Aqua realized. It had been for Riku and Sunshine’s benefit. She had almost translated Riku’s cure with the help of her father’s notebooks. It seemed even when he had passed, he was still looking out for her. And yet, Omar knew more about the inner workings of faeries than she did. Her parents had only told her so much, shielded her from much more. Like the whole, watching the Wild Hunt could doom you. That was pretty grim.
"Thank you, Omar. Tonight was a lot of fun."
She hadn’t thought she would enjoy herself as much as she had. If anything, talking with Omar had convinced the faery once and for all that Namine was in good hands. No one would look after the human woman better than Omar, aside from Aqua herself. Still, she was glad to know that Namine had someone like him, in case anything happened.

"Oh, they'll invite you. Eventually. You may barely have anything to do with them now but I promise, you'll eventually have to deal with them. And then the queen would have you in the Wild Hunt. It’s a power play. But you probably won’t have to deal with it for a few decades if you’re lucky” he smiled and nodded. “I had a lot of fun too Aqua. It was nice getting out with someone and listening to poetry and eating good sandwiches and having interesting conversations. I really wouldn’t mind doing it again soon” he led her out to the curb where a taxi was just pulling to the curb. He smiled. “Well, it was fun. I should probably get you home now though”

"We'll see I guess..."
She wasn't entirely sure what Omar meant by that. She was just supposed to stay out of the way of the Seelie Court. She was already starting to see that she didn't exactly see eye to eye with her 'cousins' in Court. If she was forced to spend time around them, she didn't know what would come of it. Things were... different there and she wasn't sure it was for the best. Especially if they looked down on other species just because they were different. Humans and trolls were a part of her every day life. She couldn't see herself being cruel to any of them.
"Yeah, it's late," she agreed.
She followed him out to the taxi cab with a smile. As much as she would have liked to stay later, they both had things they had to do the next day. Aqua had work and Omar needed to rest before his next performance.

"Every faery gets a turn in the Wild Hunt" he said with a shrug. "I hear for those who partake it's fun. So don't worry. Plus, there's a ball afterwards. You'll enjoy yourself I'm sure of it" it was one of the balls the fey were known for .A celebration of life and rebirth, which ironically happened around Easter. He was sure she'd have a blast when she was invited. It was one of the better celebrations that the fey partook in.
"We both have things to do tomorrow. Your cop job and my performances. Though I'd love to chat more. Maybe next time?" he led her to the cab and opened the door for her so she wouldn't burn herself.

"Oh..." she murmured with a blush.
She didn't really dance. A ball was likely not to go well if she was forced to participate. She tended to avoid it because she didn't think she could obtain the same level of grace as other beings. Probably didn't help she grew up with elves - the epitome of grace - as a child and she could never match them. Hunting. Dancing. Singing. She didn't think she was good at any of those things. What kind of faery was she if she couldn't even do those?
"Next time," she confirmed.
She smiled gently before getting into the cab and sliding over.

Omar slid in next to Aqua and shut the door after them. He smiled at her. She was lovely. And different from every other faery he had ever met. "Well decide when next time is some other time" this had been a great date. He was excited to see Aqua again, it would make him very happy. He rode beside her with his hands in his lap so he wouldn't touch her on accident and possibly scare her. Or weird her out. "It was a great night, thank you"

"Right. You have my number so we can work out a time." she agreed.
Aqua wasn't sure why she had agreed. Maybe because that night had been the most fun and the most she had relaxed in nearly two years. Her entire life had been on pause after Terra left her - abruptly and without any indication of answers. But she supposed that being around others was just the 'balm' she needed to tend to that injury. She wasn't about to tell Omar she didn't want to see him again. It wouldn't be fair to Namine and it wasn't like Aqua disliked him.
"We keep saying that," she laughed.
They were going back and forth, telling each other that they had enjoyed the night. She couldn't fight the smile on her face. Still, she had to fight back a giddy feeling. He wanted to see her again. That shouldn't make her as happy as it did, but it did. A short drive away and the cab pulled to a stop outside of her apartment.
"I guess this is me," she mused. "Um, goodnight Omar."

"I'll call you soon" he promised. He laughed with her. "We do. It's true though, it was a good time" He got out and let her get out through his door, all to avoid touching the metal. "Goodnight Aqua" he waited until she was at her door before he got back into the car and directed the cabbie to Omar's apartment. He paid, got out and looked at the night sky. He missed the stars. Oh well...back to his empty apartment. Which seemed too big and empty now.
