"To be honest, I used to be like that. Still kind of do wish for that kind of life from time to time." Wally admitted, their lives hadn't been easy since moving from place to place. He doubted that if he hadn't gotten his powers, he probably would have joined a gang like the ones Weiss had mentioned. Despite it being such a hard time after running from the past, he learned that some things were better than joining a gang. "I know this sounds weird, but I would feel a lot better if I could walk you back to your home. Consider it a favor, and then I can owe you. Maybe with a kiss or a hug."
He wiggled his eyebrows with a flirty smile but his offer was actually very genunie and was not a lie. Even if Weiss could protect herself, he didn't want one of the members of those gangs to get a jump on her and her to be outnumbered.

"Well, it's not all fun. You know that," Weiss said. "I know people like being financially stable. I don't criticize them for that. But having as much money as I do, living the life I have, they'd be broken within a day." Her voice became icy cold by the end of her sentence, almost without her realizing it. She gave a sigh. She hadn't meant to sound so hostile. But that was how she felt. Having all the money in the world didn't solve your problems. Heck, sometimes, it just created more. Wally offered to walk her home, his tone a little flirtatious as he did. Weiss frowned. She wasn't in the mood for any mushy stuff. But, having Wally walk her home probably wasn't too bad of an idea. Her parents wouldn't fault her for that. "I'll have to pass on the kissing or hugging," she said, giving him a look. "You can walk me home, though. Just keep your hands to yourself." She headed down the sidewalk, glancing back to see if Wally was following her.

Wally of course was expecting her to turn down the hug or kiss. He was a little wounded but not at all surprised. He was just glad that he got the chance to walk her home. "Of course, hands will remain where you can see them." he said firmly before walking after her. To most he would probably brag that he got to hang out with her, if he had any friends at the moment. So far, Chat seemed to be his only friend. Maybe he could brag about that. What could he say now without sounding like a mushy creeper. It was just that Weiss was so pretty, under the moonlight her hair shined like snow.
"I am sorry if I brought up anything messy about your life." He hadn't messed her icy tone at the end of her sentence about money. Parents pressure and money. What other things could cause a rich kid to have such problems.

"It's okay. You couldn't have known," Weiss said. Wally was new to this city. She didn't expect him to know her family problems at once. Heck, a lot of people in this city had lived here for years and they didn't know. Even Adrien and Elsa, two of her closest friends, didn't know everything about what went on behind closed doors. They didn't know that Weiss still got smacked around on occasion, or how her mother had gotten her scar. She was afraid of how they would react. Knowing them, they'd raise holy hell and do everything they could to get her out of there, just like Aqua and Riku. And Weiss felt like she didn't deserve that. She wasn't a very nice person, she didn't deserve their generosity. It was best for her to stay with her parents right now, who were bad just like she was. At least, that was how she saw it.

"Still, it obviously made you uncomfortable." Wally said sympathetically. He didn't really know a lot about dealing with such family drama. The only family he really had had been his mother, having no father really. No siblings. It had just been him and his mother and while their life hadn't been simple it sounded better than Weiss's. At least until the fire happened. "If you ever do need someone to talk to or heck even just get away from the stress.I can be that guy."
It could have come off as flirty but part of him the real part of him really did want to help Weiss escape the pressure of her family. She deserved better.

Weiss gave a little laugh. "You sound like a friend of mine," she said. Adrien often made her the same offer. If she ever needed to get away, she could always come to his place. She'd taken him up on that offer more than once throughout her life, although these days, she usually saw friends in order to make her parents happy. They were always pleased when they heard she was out socializing. "I might take you up on your offer," she added. Wally seemed interesting enough, if a bit bold with his flirting. But she could deal with that. He seemed to understand her pretty quickly. Heck, he hadn't even known who she was when they had met. That was interesting, and it had made his opinion of her a little positive. Although she wondered how long it would stay that way. The longer he was here, the sooner he'd probably hear about some of the not-so-nice things her family had done. She'd probably just have to wait and see. She glanced up when her mansion came into view. While not quite as big as the Agreste's, it was still pretty spacious, with a sprawling front lawn that added to the fanciness of the place. "Well, looks like we're here," she said as she glanced at Wally. She wondered if he'd be a little overwhelmed at the size of her house, or just treat the matter casually.

Wally looked up at the mansion and let out a low impressed whistle. The way Weiss had described her family he had been expecting a nice house, but not this nice. Most of the houses he had lived in could probably not even take up a space in this house. "Wow...I mean wow." he finally said, "You weren't kidding about being well-off." He shook his head in disbelief. This didn't change how he felt though. Nice house or not. Weiss didn't deserve to be under the burden of her family's weight.
"I would probably get lost in a house this big." he said jokingly.

Wally reacted the way people usually reacted when they saw Weiss's house for the first time: with astonishment and admiration. Even Weiss had to admit, it looked pretty nice. If only people knew what went on inside. They might not think it so pretty then. "Yeah, it is pretty spacious," she agreed. She could feel her shadow spirits already silently slinking their way towards the house. They expected her to follow them shortly. "Well, thanks for walking me home," she said. "And...it was nice meeting you." Wally was actually a nice guy, if he didn't flirt too seriously. She could handle it if it was just a joke. Adrien was like that sometimes too, on rare occasions.

Wally smiled, thankful to see Weiss home safely. He was still impressed by the big house. It did show a lot. He couldn't help but wonder just what her parents were like. Maybe part of him didn't want to know. All he knew was, that Weiss deserved better and that he was totally enchanted with her. "It was nice meeting you too Weiss. I'll see you around sometime." he said, "Have a good night."

"You too," Weiss said as she headed towards the front door. She waved one more time before heading inside. Her parents didn't question why she was back so late. It seemed like they were too busy with other things tonight to care. Her shadow spirits were waiting for her once she got back to her room. They all seemed to be in agreement that Wally wasn't a threat, but Weiss wasn't sure if they particularly liked him either. As they usually pointed out, nobody could really understand her like they did. Anyone else who saw the darkness inside her would be afraid of her. Weiss was starting to feel like that was true. Her shadow spirits seemed to be the only true confidants she had now. Still, even if Wally was just an acquaintance now, meeting him had been nice. He was a nice distraction from all the bad stuff that was going on in her life. She had to appreciate that much, at least.
