It was pourig rain as Elsa parked her car outside her family mausoleum. She had made a tradition of this every summer since her parents had passed away and left their inheritance to her, their only heir. She held a glass vase made of white roses, and approached the snowflake crest. She knelt before them, setting the roses down, where the glass frosted. But as she was finishing up, she heard something. A crunch on the leaves. Elsa stood, before firing a shot of ice. More leaves were kicked up, and the attacker fled.
"Go, go!" A male voice called out.
Elsa grimaced. Great. She was getting attacked. At her family's grave none the less.

It was almost like the weather knew what he was doing was going to be a sad event. That was the only real response that Wally had to the stormy day. Normally this would have been the best time to use his speedster powers but that would ruin the flowers in his arms. As he approached the Cemetery, the leaves flew past him. Something didn't feel right.
He heard voices. A male voice. It didn't sound like a pleasant conversation though. His green eyes couldn't get a look at the source of the voice but it had come from close by. The teen wanted to drop the flowers and run to see if anyone was hurt. Wally decided to walk in that direction anyways. As he drew closer, his gaze fell on a woman, she looked troubled.
"Are you alright?" he called out.

Men were scattering now. Elsa looked left and right. They had been smart and were wearing black. The only time she got a decent look was when a strike of summer lightning struck the sky. Elsa narrowed her blue eyes in one direction. Someone was cocking a gun and they were on her left. What exactly did they want? If they thought the Crispins were a family that were known for lining their pockets, the were sadly mistaken on one crucial part. Elsa took a quick breath in, extended her hand and pulsed forward.
The blast of chilyl ice knocked the gun clean from the assailant's hand, and he was about to flee...if not for the walls of ice pinning him in. She was about to call, when someone called.
Elsa turned, her hand extended, and then relaxed. The person facing her was a teenage boy. He didn't look like an attacker. But still...
"Well, I am now..."

Those mens had guns! Actual guns pointed at a woman in a place to mourn loved ones? What was wrong with people?! He was a bit impressed that she could protect herself like that. He grew even more curious and drew closer. "Are you sure? I mean, those men look pretty serious."
Wally took another step forward, wanting to at least get between the man, even if he was pinned down. His gaze took in her appearance. Golden hair and blue eyes, she looked pretty despite the sad setting. He wanted to stick by her. He stepped out into view a bit more. This seemed like a very serious situation.

"I can handle myself.." But no sooner had Elsa said that, that she eard yet another gun. Of course. She had forgotten that this guy wasn't alone. This was some kind of group assault. Why were they targetting her? Was this some voodoo attempt to get at her? Some nasty trick. She shot a blast of ice where she thought she saw some movement. It froze upon impact and shot upward. Some raindrops got in the crossfire and fell in small chunks of hail. Well, so much for the issue being taken care of.

"I can see that..." Wally's voice trailed off as he watched her throw ice towards the rustling leaves. She certainly could handle herself but odds are she couldn't handle a lot of unseen foes. He really didn't want to use his powers, especially in civillian clothing. That wouldn't be a problem considering no one knew his actual name, nor was there a way to make the difference between him and Kid Flash.
Seeing as that he didn't want to have this woman fight on her own in a cemetery, he dropped the flowers before taking off towards the rustling trees.

"No, wait!"
But the kid was gone before Elsa could even stop him. She blinked owlishly. He had been there just a moment ago. Now he was, just, gone. Gone. The only other person she had seen go as fast as that was Shadow. She just stood there, foolishly, keeping her eye peeled. No other people were there, not counting the thug she had frozen and was now shivering in his icy coccoon. She wasn't going to thaw him out. Not when she could answer one question/
"What do you want from me?"
The thug just laughed. The laugh chilled her, and that...well, that said something. After he laughed, he sneered,
"Wait until the assassins actually get through to you."
Elsa scowled. "What assassins?"
The laughing thug cackled again...ad it got cut off by a shiver.

He could only imagine the look on her face was shocked, it made him smile more to see the look of utter surprise on one of her attackers faces. It was pure gold. If only all people could have that look whenever he stopped them from their evil ways. A chuckle escaped his lips as he saw out of the corner of his eye, his target lying on the ground moaning. It wasn't hard to do even if they were armed but the gun did really make him uneasy. Never liked them. Backtracking to his fallen foe, he looked at him, with utter disgust.
"What's the big idea buddy, attacking a lady is one thing, but attacking her here, that's just cruel."

The thug on the ground held an arm. He winced, shaking his head with a laugh. A kid was telling him what to do or what the say? The mission had been simple; get Elsa Crispin. The cemetery was the only place they knew she'd be without a dropped guard. Or, at least that was what their employeer had said was going to be the case. Turned out Jonze got the literal cold shoulder.
"You talk to Torchwick yourself, punk."
Elsa's back stiffened. Torchwick. As in...Roman Torchwick? The smuggler who smoked expensive cigars? The guy who literally came to rich affairs and was not ashamed of obvious criminal activity? Why did he want her?

Torchwick? He felt like he had heard that name somewhere before. It struck a familiar cord but Wally couldn't really place it. Had it anything to do with the group he had broken down, that was the only thing that made sense. The people he had taken care of though or protected from that gang had never mentioned a name. Wally turned his gaze to Elsa again.
"Do you know who he is talking about?" he asked, crossing his arms over his chest, trying to ignore the rain. "He an enemy of yours?"

"Some rich man who isn't afraid to get his hands dirty," Elsa answered. "I only bumped into him once, and that was about it..." By bumped, she meant a literal bump. If this was his way of getting back at her for an event that, frankly, should have been over months ago, it was a pretty lame reason. She didn't even speak a word to him, not counting 'excuse me'. Questions were racing into her head. Questions maybe she shuld get the police into knowing. She pulled out her phone and dialed a number. "Sunshine? It's Elsa. Listen, I...have a Torchwick gang member. Two of them, in the ceme....yes, I'm okay...look, they aren't leaving any time soon so...what?...Desk duty? Why?...Oh. Okay, just send some people down here to get the thugs to jail please....thanks. Bye."

A rich guy who could hire assassins. Of course there were those kinds of people. Wally's green eyes wandered to the gang member. Why did he look so content about being taken down by two supernatural people. It seemed to much of a concidence. He wasn't sure if he should mention it to Elsa though. The name Roman though did strike him as a name he knew but he couldn't place it.
"You know, if you wanted, I could take them." he offered to Elsa. "With my speed I could get them to the police faster than it could take to get a car here." Though there was the lingering feeling that leaving the woman alone was not the best idea considering that there were assassins now after her. "I mean, I could also stay and keep you company."
Torchwick. He would have to remember that name, or at least hope to run into him.

'...I....Uh..." Elsa shifted side to side.
How would he react when she told him out about her job? How when a vigilante took the job of the Others Unit, they were almost...offended by the prospect of people taking jobs that they needed. How would they react if a kid who ran at light speeds just rushed in and dropped on criminals? She didn't like the thought of him getting locked up.
'That's fine. Really. Uh..." she glanced around, looking for a place to sit not near supposed assassins. "I guess some company would be nice, though. I'd have something other than creepy tombstones to talk to."

Wally smiled slightly, chuckling at the idea of talking to tombstones. Though, he wasn't ashamed to admit that he did talk to his mother's grave when he was alone. It was a silly thing he heard some people do from time to time. "I can't imagine that talking to tombstones in the rain would be the best use of your time while waiting for police." he said. "Oh, I forgot, the name's Wally."
The boy brushed a couple of raindrops from his jacket, it wasn't going to do much good considering that eventually the rain would recover it again. "I hope I didn't disturb you in....freezing the bad guys."

Elsa shook her head quietly. She knew a few people that would talk to tombstones, but in the rain? Well, she wasn't that depressed. The byo introduced himself as Wally. A name that didn't come up much, unless you were talking about a robot trash-compacter. She managed a smile.
"Elsa," she introduced herself, holding out a hand. "It's okay, I won't freeze you. It's...something I can control."
