Yang just gave a nod in response. That made sense. "What if" questions plagued her mind all the time. It was her natural reaction to when she messed up. She didn't think about them as much as she used to, but that didn't mean they were completely gone. Heck, she still asked questions like that regarding her arm. It just seemed so unbelievable that she and everyone else had made the exact choices that led to her losing her arm. It was like getting dice that were all the exact same number in Yahtzee. But, just because the odds were low didn't mean they were impossible, and that was the hand she had been dealt. She just hoped that Adrien didn't let the "what if" questions plague the rest of his life. There was nothing else he could have done. His dad was just too stubborn and cold to change, no matter how much Adrien wanted him to. She reached over for his hand and laced her fingers in between his for a moment. Yang may have had more baggage than Adrien, but that didn't mean his still wasn't heavy and burdensome. She'd help him carry it, and maybe she could even make it a little lighter. At the mention of movies, she did smile. "I might need to do a little catching up myself. Having a T.V. or a laptop at the hideout was never a priority," she said. Most of what she learned about popular media was from newspapers and T.V.'s. She and her kids had had a portable DVD player once that she'd manage to fish out of someone's dumpster, but it hadn't lasted very long. There was a reason it had been thrown out in the first place.

"We could always do it at my place." he said.
He was already thinking about remodeling anyways. His father had dominated the appearance of the house to sterile and unfeeling. The foyer was the first thing to get done. No more white. He was going to add a splash of color! As for a theater room, one of his father's many art galleries could get sacrificed. He could sell off the art to other rich and willing individuals and transform the room with comfy seats, a popcorn machine and what pizza guy wouldn't be over the moon about being sent to his house to deliver? He grinned at the thought. That would send tongues in the media waggling. Model Adrien Agreste Ordering Pizza? Binge eating after death of his father. Turn to page 3 for more details. No, just the wiles of a pretty girl who saw him for more than just his appearance.
"I can bring the popcorn and you can get the movie?"

"That sounds like fun," Yang said with a smile. She could probably ask any of her friends what might be a good movie to watch. Heck, maybe she could bring a variety over. Having a few options might be good. Her hand slid away from Adrien's as she picked at her crab some more. Another disadvantage she had: she couldn't hold Adrien's hand and eat at the same time. She tried not to think about it too much though. She didn't need any more insecurities about not doing the usual couple stuff because she only hand one hand. Adrien didn't care about that sort of stuff. She needed to remember that. "I promise not to bring over any movies that are too girly," she joked. She'd heard too many stories of girls dragging their boyfriends to see movies like the Notebook or Titanic, even though they really weren't into that sort of stuff. Most guys weren't. Any girly movies would be saved for some of Yang's friends, like Sunshine. She'd probably be into that sort of thing.

"I wouldn't know a girly movie even if you did." he said. "Besides, cheesy romance is what does it for some people."
People like him. Which was why he had been flirty and used puns. It had been easier to flirt with 'dangers' than to deal with them. If only he realized that he had flirted with the right danger. Yang let go of his hand to continue eating. It was a downside of her new condition, but until she was ready to start looking into prosthetics, he wasn't going to force the subject. He wanted her to get better on her own accord. While a 'new' arm might be able to help, she had to be prepared for some changes. He could cover any price sticker on that, but she didn't like him spending money on her. So he would restrain from elaborate gifts (minus their trip) since this typically wasn't what a second date looked like with normal couples.

Yang gave a little laugh. "Are movies like that where you got all your pick-up lines?" she teased. He did seem to have a wide repertoire of them as Chat Noir. That and puns. Both seemed to be pretty relevant in cheesy romance movies, particularly romantic comedies. Some of those could actually be funny, but most of them seemed dumb. Still, even if they did sit through a dumb one, they could probably laugh at how stupid it was. Some bad movies were like that. Still, stuff like that had been part of Adrien's charm when he was Chat Noir. You couldn't help but love him for it. Even Shadow and Sunshine had grown to like him, even if they had gotten off to a rocky start. Now, they were two people Adrien trusted enough to reveal who he really was. They'd come a long way.

"Maybe." he replied. "It worked didn't it? You like me."
Yang was probably proof that pick up lines did work, or rather being nice and polite to a girl worked. Hard to believe that being civil and kind was enough to get a girl to like you, he thought sarcastically. And yet, he had to listen to so many men complain that they couldn't get a date, when they treated their perspective partners like trash. Either way, he was happy to have her with him and would fight tooth and nail to make her happy. He was even luckier she hadn't burned his face off when she figured out Adrien was Chat Noir. Just a bruise. Which healed. He leaned in a little, offering her his best smile.

"And yet I managed to win you over without puns or pick-up lines," Yang said with a laugh. Sometimes she still wondered how exactly she had gotten Adrien to fall in love with her. It wasn't like she had done it on purpose. It had just sort of happened. Then again, he hadn't exactly meant for her to fall in love with him either. Heck, for a time, he'd wanted them to stay apart in an attempt to keep Yang safe. Falling for each other had just sort of happened, with no planning whatsoever. But Yang felt like real love was like that: unexpected and unplanned. Love wasn't something that you could plan or force someone to feel. It just happened. It made her think of Shadow, Riku, and Sunshine. Riku and Sunshine had managed to get mutual feelings for each other, while Shadow's affection for her was one-sided. Yang still wondered if confessing how he felt could change things though. Didn't Sunshine deserve to know? It wasn't like she disliked Riku or anything. He was a nice guy and had helped her out a lot. But leaving feels unspoken could only lead to heartache. Yang knew that first-hand. As she finished off the last of her crab-cake, she asked jokingly "So, is this one of twelve courses or are we cutting straight to dessert?"

"That's because you're amazing and you don't need bad jokes to make me laugh." he said.
The girl who literally changed everything. He smiled at her. He couldn't imagine the Black Cat managed to be that lucky to meet someone as wonderful and amazing as her. Black cats naturally brought bad luck. Yes, they had both gone through terrible ordeals - her more than him - but something good was able to come out of everything they had gone through. He felt like he would never be able to tell her how much he appreciated her. It wouldn't stop him from trying to prove that to her.
"Well, I think we're allowed to cheat a little." he joked.
He got up from his seat and walked over to a cart nearby. He lifted a silver lid and to his delight the cannolis were sitting inside. His staff deserved a raise for the nice things they did for him. He brought the tray over to the table. Enough for both of them to have three each. Otherwise, they might be sick from too many sweets. Even when he crashed his diet his staff knew he wasn't going to absolutely binge himself to death. He picked one up and considered it for a moment before he held it out for Yang to take a bite of.

"Oh, you're too kind," Yang said before laughing again. Still, it was pleasing to hear that she made Adrien love her just by being herself. Stuff like that didn't happen a whole lot. But, she felt like it was a sign that their relationship was meant to last. They liked each other for who they were, and didn't mind their flaws. Who could ask for more? Speaking of which, Adrien had quite a few cannolis on stand-by. No doubt they were hand-crafted and made from scratch. Adrien seemed to be pulling all the stops for this vacation, although Yang was sure he'd get her a cheap burger if she asked him to. He was up for anything. Adrien held out the cannoli for her. Instead of taking it into her own hand, she gave a playful grin as she leaned over and bit off half of it. "Sweet, but not as sweet as you," she said, still smiling.

Adrien chuckled. He winked before finishing the second half of the cannoli. He had long since mastered the art of eating one without having the fulling or the crispy little shell gushing everywhere and making a mess. Had to get rid of the evidence of his sweets when his dad was around. What better way than to dispose of it properly? By eating it. Hard to be accused of eating sweets, when there was no evidence of it. He could probably eat the whole lot of them by himself so it was a good thing Yang was there to keep him honest. Otherwise, he might have a few new cavities.
"Aw, you think I'm sweet," he teased.

"Well, you are," Yang replied. And it wasn't just the sweetness from his lips whenever they were kissing. Adrien was sweet with his generous nature and always looking out for the people he cared about. He just gave so much and never expected anything in return. Yang had never really met someone like that before. And while Adrien had given her a lot of things since they had first met, she felt like his love was the most valuable. She could live without anything else, except that. She'd rather lose her arm all over again than lose him like she had before.

"Is this where we go back and forth insisting the other is sweeter?" he teased. "I mean I haven't seen many romantic comedies but isn't that what happens? Or do you just want me to keep complimenting you? Because I can do that too."
He could shower her in compliments if she wanted. He probably wasn't as good with words as his reporters and fanbase was, but he would try for her. He would talk until he ran out of voice. Or until she decked him for being annoying. Whichever came first. Models didn't need their voices anyways. He was no actor. Though, that would be an interesting way to branch out. He always did want to be a super hero - hence his costumed attire when he was out and about as Chat Noir. Though Chat wasn't really a hero. More like a quasi-hero or an anti-hero? Because he did do good things. Perhaps he could be one on the big screen. Though the only romantic lead he wanted was Yang.

Yang pretended to think for a moment before replying "I think I know something else you can do for me instead." Then she moved over and kissed him, her fingers light and soft against his cheek. True, they'd kissed about a million times today, but Yang wasn't tired of it yet. Heck, she doubted she ever would be. For a long time, she never thought she'd be able to experience stuff like this. Who would ever fall for a girl with one arm and a host of mental problems? But, Adrien had, and she felt determined not to let him down. She may still have the feeling that she was only 80% instead of 100%, but she would still give it her all.

Adrien leaned across the table to kiss her a little better. She was going to drive him insane if she kept kissing him like that. A good madness, he decided. Going back to check on her had been the best decision of his life. Otherwise, he would have been very unhappy. He would have married someone his father picked. He would have been unhappy with that person. He would have committed to the industry. He poured as much affection into the kiss as he could. His hand went to her shoulder and he pulled her a little closer.

Adrien's enthusiasm matched Yang's, and it made her happy. There was no holding back here. Really, the only people they had to worry about was the staff, and they seemed to be pretty cool with whatever they wanted to do. Any thoughts about finishing off the rest of the cannolis was gone from her mind at the moment. She had a different kind of hunger now, and kissing Adrien was the only way she could satisfy it. None of her usual worries were here, and even if they did show up, Adrien could make them go away with his touch, or his kiss, or a few soft-spoken words. He was the light that chased away any darkness that clouded her mind.
