The table was in the way. He couldn't comfortably kiss Yang with it in between them, or at least butting up against his stomach. Though, he supposed it kept him grounded. Considering he had never really kissed anyone before, he had to admit, he had been missing out. Her kisses could melt away any distressing thought and made him feel like he was going to float away.

While Yang was enjoying herself, the table between her and Adrien was getting annoying. And making out in a study probably wasn't the best thing. She pulled away for a moment to say "Maybe we should move this somewhere else." She glanced out a window and noticed that the sun was setting. She smiled. That was the perfect setup. "Wanna make out with a picturesque sunset behind us?" The sunset did look a bit pretty from where she was, but kissing Adrien was also something she wanted to do. She figured she could do both at the same time if they had a nicer view, although her attention would probably be more on Adrien than the sunset.

"Oh Yang, you charmer you," he teased. "I'd love to."
He got up from his seat, offering her his hand. The desert was the furthest thing from his mind. It was funny how distracted Yang could make him if she wanted to. He led her out of the study and to one of the balconies. The fresh air washed over them and the sun's glow made everything feel warm. He turned to look at her and felt like his breath was almost knocked out of him completely. He let out a slow, deep breath, before brushing her hair out of her face so he could see her better. He wanted to tell her how beautiful he thought she was, but she had heard that. All day. He decided the only way to prove it was through action. He managed a weak smile before he kissed her again.

The beach house had the perfect viewing for the sunset, thanks to a balcony that was nearby. Everything was visible. Yang felt like the layout was fascinating. There was the sand, and that eventually met the ocean, and then the ocean stretched out for infinity until it met the sky. Any part of the sky that was around the sun was still yellow and orange. Anything further away became purple or black. Even the water itself was getting darker, looking more lilac than blue. It was pretty beautiful. Really, the only thing that could top all this was Adrien himself, who started kissing her again after he brushed some hair out of her face. She kissed him back, feeling the setting sun's glow on her skin and a light breeze that blew across the beach. The temperature was probably dropping a bit, but she felt warm enough. Adrian warmed any chill she was feeling, inside and out.

His hands moved down to her hips, pulling her in a little closer. With enough space between them so that she didn't feel trapped. Making her feel trapped, he decided, triggered her anxiety. Of course, they would only be kissing on their vacation. Adrien actually hadn't expected this many kisses in just one day, but he was not one to complain. Yang was addictive. She would laugh if he told her that. But she laughed at lots of things he told her. Their confessions had opened a floodgate of emotions that for now, Adrien was happy to explore. He would likely go back home with swollen lips and looking ruffled. That would make for some interesting news.

Yang could feel the outside world disappearing more and more. It was hard to concentrate on what was going on when Adrien dominated most of her senses at the moment. He didn't need words to tell her how he felt. She could feel it in every movement he made. It was getting darker, but that didn't put a damper on things. Heck, if it wasn't for the sun setting below the horizon, Yang wouldn't know how much time had passed. Everything seemed to move fast and slow at the same time. It was an odd sensation, but she liked it. Her lack of a right hand didn't even bother her right now. Adrien still knew what she was trying to say without speaking any words.

Adrien broke the kiss. He smiled at her, pressing a kiss on either cheek and then her forehead, letting his lips linger over each spot. He wasn't sure what he needed more at the moment, air or just being near Yang. It would be hard to go back to not seeing her as often when they went back to the shore, granted once or twice a week wasn't too shabby, but for these few days, they were together the entire time. Without anything to interrupt them. That was probably the best part. He didn't have to share her with anyone, just the two of them.

Yang felt a little breathless as Adrien pulled away. She wondered if she would always get this carried away when kissing him. It wasn't like she did it on purpose. She just liked doing it so much that she sometimes forgot to breathe every now and then. Most of the warm colors were gone from the sky at this point. It was mostly dark, and the stars were starting to appear. They seemed brighter out here, where there weren't a bunch of city lights. Yang felt like she should say something, but no words were coming to mind. It felt like everything she could say had already been said today. For the moment, she just enjoyed the silence and the way Adrien's lips were soft against her skin. He was always so gentle with every movement he made. She knew half of it was because he didn't want to push her too far, but some gentleness was what she needed right now. She knew he was fine with whatever pace she wanted to go.

Adrien took a deep breath before he wrapped his arms around her and just held her close. He buried his face into the crook of her neck. He had gone through a lot to get there. He almost lost her and then he almost lost her again. It took losing his father for good to finally be with her the way he had wanted to. Yang had gone through a lot to get there. She had been almost killed, kicked out of her home, had the kids taken away from her and then almost killed again. A bittersweet start to their relationship, but with bad things came good things. But he held her like he was afraid to lose her all over again.

Adrien's arms were comforting as they wrapped around her. Yang had this sensation of being completely enveloped, like she was wrapped in a cocoon that nothing bad or harmful could get through. She was safe in Adrien's arms, and that safe feeling was one she could never get enough of. Her paranoia was one of the worst things that came out of losing her arm, and it never really seemed to leave. It was either low or high, never completely gone. And her paranoia could cover any bad situation. She was afraid of losing anyone she loved, of getting hurt again, of being seen as a hopeless loser. But that paranoia was gone when she was with Adrien. Or, at the very least, it was easier to ignore, because she knew any bad situation she could think of wouldn't happen if she was with him.

He could say it. So easily those words could slip out. 'I love you' but it was too soon to push that on her now. Let her enjoy the weekend. Just take things slow Easy. They had time. They would heal together. It meant the world to him that Yang would come to the island with him. It wasn't a typical date, but she wasn't afraid of that. She wasn't intimidated like most other people were who either saw him as some rich brat or some socialite model. He gave her a little squeeze.
"Thank you," he said softly. "This has been amazing."

"You've made it amazing," Yang replied with almost no hesitation. "You provided all the stuff. I just kind of showed up." She really had nothing to bring to the plate, except herself. Adrien had the island and the private jet and the beach house and the personal chefs. It was what every little girl had dreamed of at what point: to be swept away by a charming guy who could give her anything and everything. It was a classic Cinderella story. Yang wasn't sure if she was like Cinderella though. Glass slippers sounded painful and she didn't have any mice friends. Jenny was more likely to befriend rodents than her. Still, at least she felt like she could have a happy ending with Adrien. True, life never really ended like fairy tales, but with Adrien, it might get close.

"It wouldn't have been the same without you." he insisted.
It wouldn't have. He would have been alone. Again. She gave him something to focus on. Something good and wonderful and not at all stressing. She was exactly what he needed in his life. She didn't even know it either. She made him happier than he had ever been in his entire life, just by being herself and being honest with him about everything. She was different but he loved that about her.
"None of this would be the same without you."

Yang had to admit that Adrien had a point. He was what made this special, not the stuff. Sure, they were nice, but they would have been meaningless without him. "I guess I can say the same about you," she said with a little smile. She'd always reassure Adriein that she cared about him more than the things his money could buy. They were nice perks, but nothing compared to him. She would have said more, but she ended up yawning instead. "Sorry. Guess all the excitement has made me a little tired," she said. She was reluctant to head to bed, but it was getting late. Besides, she knew Adrien probably wouldn't want her to stay up late and be as tired as a zombie or something.

"Yang, don't apologize. There's always tomorrow for anything else we plan." he told her. "May I walk you back to your room?"
They had tomorrow. That was more than he could say a few weeks ago when he was avoiding her. For now, they had the promise of tomorrow. That was good enough for Adrien for now. He smiled and offered her his hand. He didn't feel tired, but that was because he had something to focus on. Once he got in his room and settled down for the night he would probably rest well. The first time since his father died.
