"Before you go.," Sunshine dug around into the pocket of her bomber jacket. There had to be something she could do. Weiss was really sweet, and it was nice to be herself around someone else that wasn't on the force. Her hand grazed an abandoned receipt and, yes, the glitter gel pen she usually had was in there. Fishing that out, Sunshine jotted down her cell phone number on the receipt and handed it to Weiss. "Call me if you ever want to hang out again, practice some light voodoo, okay?"

Weiss had to smile. A glitter gel pen. It fit Sunshine perfectly. The blonde wrote down her number and handed it to Weiss, saying she could call her if she wanted to hang out. It felt comforting to have it, and it made Weiss feel better knowing she had another person to talk to. Everyone she knew had some way of making her feel better. Riku was strong enough to protect her, Elsa and Adrien could relate to a lot of the bad stuff that came with being upper class, and Sunshine could bring her infectious happiness with her. Her social circle was smaller now, but she liked it that way. She knew everyone in it would be there for her, and there was always the possibility of seeing it grow. She could get closer with Anna, if she was feeling better. Dorian was a possibility, although Weiss wondered if he'd consider a teenager interesting enough company. Wally popped into her head, and she wondered for a moment if he could become a part of her circle of friends. But she shook the thought away. Who knew if she would ever see him again. The last two times they talked hadn't gone so well, even though he hadn't minded so much, and he was pretty positive about things, and he managed to get her to open up so easily... She blinked, realizing she'd let her thoughts go astray. She brought her mind back to her conversation with Sunshine. "Yeah, I will. Thanks." She gave another smile before heading off. Another slight breeze blew, cooling off her face, which suddenly felt very warm.

Sunshine waved after Weiss accepted her number. Finally, having a friend who was a girl outside the office. Sure she loved Yang, Anna, and Aqua, but it was nice talking about things besides work. Better yet, Weiss’ approval of marrying Riku was the most important blessing to her, and having it being gift wrapped with a white bow made it all the more better. A wind rippled her hair and she looked out at the park. Winds of change were blowing, the good kind of change.
