"Yeah, I hope they're having a good time!" Adrien said.
He sat down on the towel next to Yang before laying back with a sigh over the warmth of the sand. A nice day out had a way of warming you inside and out. He felt more relaxed than he had all week. Being around Yang had something to do with it. She always had a way of putting him at ease no matter what she did. It was kind of amazing in it's own way. He still managed to smile as he turned to look at her.
"A few... A lot of it's heavily photo shopped and they were very reluctant to let us take lunch breaks." he admitted. "Food made you 'fat'."

"Knowing them, they'd probably have fun anywhere," Yang said. Heck, their honeymoon could be in some run-down, broken place and they'd still enjoy it. Then again, Yang and Adrien were much the same way. It usually didn't matter what they were doing or where they were, as long as they were together. She snorted when Adrien said that lunch breaks weren't exactly encouraged at beachy photo shoots. "Good food and good drinks practically go hand in hand with the beach," Yang said. "Have they ever listened to Cheeseburger in Paradise? Or Margaritaville?" She gave a laugh.

"You're probably right," he said. "But if I know Riku the way I think I do, he's going to try to wow her."
Adrien had done the same thing with Yang. But he was getting better and toning things down for her. They were doing more casual dates. He also didn't even spend a crazy amount on his present to Sunshine and Riku like she had been afraid he would. He was getting better at realizing it was the quality not the quantity. As for food, he was happy to admit he was no longer as skinny as he used to be. He still wasn't a slouch either.
"Hmm... Not sure," he laughed. "You would think. But there's a reason I got new models, right princess?"

"He would," Yang agreed. Riku just seemed to be that kind of guy. He and Adrien had that in common. Maybe it was a rich person thing? Of course, Adrien knew that he didn't have to spend a bunch of money to make Yang happy. A private island was just as good as running to a burger joint, in her mind. Hopefully, Riku knew that too. Then again, it was their honeymoon. All the stops were supposed to be pulled on something like that. Yang wondered where she and Adrien would go when they had their honeymoon. They'd already been to a private island. That was usually the #1 destination for stuff like that. Beaches always cranked up the romance meter and made people get a little more passionate with each other. Although Yang wondered if her and Adrien's first time would even be at their honeymoon. They'd always been pretty affectionate with each other, and less people these days waited until marriage to do it. Before she could think anymore on the matter though, she realized Adrien had been talking to her and she hadn't responded. She put away her train of thought for later. This wasn't the right place to have a conversation about that. "Yup," she said with a smile. "And I'm sure they enjoy all the lunch breaks they get."

"Aw, we both know I'm a nicer boss." Adrien said.
He wouldn't force his workers into certain body types. He wanted them to be happy. He wanted be a better leader than his father. It wasn't necessarily hard to be better than his old man. However, it meant changing the entire company, flipping the whole thing on it's axis to do what be thought was right. Just like Yang. She had come into his life and shook the foundation of everything he did. He could never thank her enough for it. It made him love her all the more for it. So he leaned in and pressed brief kiss to her lips.
"But I'm sure you don't want to hear about my work." he said.

"You got that right," Yang agreed. Adrien's household staff alone had changed ever since he'd become in charge. They were involved more emotionally. They wanted Adrien to succeed and to do well, and they weren't afraid to voice any concerns or opinions they had. Then, there was his father's fashion company. Yang knew the people there were being treated much more kindly since Adrien became the head of it. He showed that just because you were the boss didn't mean you had to be a big jerk to everyone who was beneath you. Yang was happy to see all the positive things that were going on thanks to Adrien's changes. He was really blossoming now that he was making his own decisions. He kissed her for a moment, which made her happy, but then he commented about how she probably didn't want to hear him ramble about work. "Hey, I love hearing about anything you wanna talk about," she said, playfully laying her head on his lap. And she did mean that.

Adrien chuckled and looked down at her as she made herself comfortable laying on him. He ran a hand through her long hair, marveling over how soft it was. She had great pride in her lovely hair. He smiled at her. Yang was wonderful. He missed having her with him but her work was just as important as his. And he would host a charity event sooner or later to help the police department. He enjoyed helping her.
"Yes, but my work is boring," he laughed. "Your job is way more exciting."

"Honestly, there hasn't been much going on," Yang said. "Pitch and I are still on the look-out for that skeleton thief that keeps robbing from rich stores and stuff. But he hasn't popped up since we ran into him." Of course, every time she worked on the case, Yang felt a surge of guilt. She knew that the thief was really Manolo, but she'd refused to say anything. She still held out hope that maybe she could help him turn things around, just like she had. So far, Moses was the only one who knew. He said he'd see if Vanitas knew anything, but Yang wasn't about to hold her breath on that. Who knew if he'd even help, and even then, who knew if he'd even find any info. Yang hadn't seen a trace of Manolo since they'd run into each other and she'd discovered his identity. He didn't want to be found right now, and Yang wasn't sure where to start looking for him.

"A skeleton thief?" Adrien asked. "Seems Chat Noir only inspired themed thieves..."
He wasn't going to put the mask on anymore. He promised Yang that he wouldn't. He no longer had to hide to help people. He could donate to whom he wanted. He could help whomever he wanted. It was a relief to not have to sneak around to do good. He wanted to help the city no matter what. Unfortunately, it didn't seem like this skeleton thief was going to do that. He was clearly up to no good.

"I guess you could put it that way," Yang said. "We figure the skeleton thing is just glamour, to hide who he really is. He's good with potions too. He practically had a whole arsenal that could do just about anything." She gave a sigh. If only she could convince Manolo that robbing rich people wasn't going to bring back the friend he'd lost to the police force. Yang had done much the same thing, back in the day. She'd been a wild child because she'd felt jipped, and it had ended up bringing her a ton of trouble. The same thing could happen to Manolo eventually. And unlike Yang, he didn't have friends like Shadow or Elsa to help him out.

"Well it sure beats leather and masks," Adrien shrugged.
Everyone had a different reason for stealing. Some needed the money. Others, like him, were trying to right wrongs. Steal what was already stolen or taken unfairly and giving it back to those it was taken from. Now he just had better lawyers under his belt and was ready to jump to anyone's rescue should they need it. The other day he bought the rights to a little mom and pop fabric shop to keep the big businesses out. The owners still had all rights to their property and their supplies, was just backed by the Agreste family now. Instant protection.
"He hasn't hurt anyone has he?"

"Yeah, his disguise isn't about to come off as easily as yours did," Yang said. Although, to be fair, Adrien's mask had only come off 'cause Yang had hit him. When he asked if the thief had hurt anyone, Yang shook her head. "No. Really, the only thing that's been hurting is whatever place he decides to steal from." She gave a sigh. "I know stealing stuff isn't as important as murder and rape and what-not, but he still can't do it." Manolo didn't steal this stuff to survive or anything. He just did it out of spite. And Yang doubted he could keep it up for too long before he got caught.

"Well... you could always set a trap for him. I just happen to know someone who could act as bait?" he grinned.
He was in no danger if he volunteered himself up. He could defend himself and he could help Yang. Hell, he didn't even have to be 'home' for their attempted robber to try and strike. It was only a matter of time. He was one of the most well known rich people in Bellerouge now that the LaFayettes had gone through their trial and his name was still on every tongue after the death of his father. Granted, Adrien's security system was nothing to snuff at. After his time as a thief he made a point to have those things upgraded in his own home.

Yang bit her lip. The idea of putting Adrien anywhere near harm's way didn't sit well with her. And she was reluctant to try and arrest Manolo unless she had no other choice. And who knew if he would even fall for it? The guy wasn't dumb. Adrien did seem eager to help though. This was probably the closest thrill he'd come to since his Chat Noir days. Of course, in this case, he would play the part of the robbed instead of the robber. "I'll think about it," she promised. "If things get hairy, I don't want you getting caught in the middle of it. You know how protective I am of you." Heck, she was protective over anyone she cared about. One of her most common phrases was that she'd punch anyone in the face who hurt her friends. And she'd do the same thing to Manolo if he tried to hurt Adrien.

"Of course I know, Princess." he said. "And I love you for it."
He thought it was sweet of her to take care of him like that. He leaned in and pressed a kiss to the side of her cheek. Shew was absolutely amazing. He knew she wanted him to be safe, and he only wanted to help. If she decided to take him up on it, he would make a plan that wouldn't put either of them at risk. Because he wanted her to be safe as well. Though, he wanted to take care of her as much as she wanted to take care of him.
