"And I'm yours."
He didn't have eyes for anyone else. No one could change that. Not his fans, not the media, not even his father had colored his opinion of her. She let him see her at her weakest and didn't judge him when he let her see him in the same state. He might have been flirty as Chat Noir, but things just clicked when he was with Yang. She pushed him, challenged him to become better than his father and better than the expectations for him. He loved and appreciated her for it.
"No photographers are going to bother you if I have a say in it." he assured her.

"I guess you did frighten them enough with the idea of getting sued," Yang joked with a laugh. "Or getting a knuckle sandwich from me." Legal repercussions or a trip to the hospital were both definitely consequences that reporters were trying to avoid. At least, those with a healthy sense of danger about them. There were the crazy ones who would face barbed-wire fences or angry guard dogs in order to get a photo. Yang had yet to see a reporter try that yet with her and Adrien, although it could happen. Maybe she'd just have to wait and see.

"I think we make a good team," he laughed.
He would do whatever it took to keep her and Namine safe from the clutches of the media. They didn't need rabid fans going after them. Their every move scrutinized under a microscope. He was already getting called out for eating out more, modeling less. He didn't mind so much. He was finally enjoying life. It was all thanks to Yang. She made him see there was more than just being the yes man his father wanted him to be.

"It's like I always say: I'm the Maid Marian to your Robin Hood," Yang said with a smile. Of course, Adrien wasn't a thief who helped the less-fortunate anymore, and Yang wasn't exactly a dainty little princess. But she still felt like the fictional couple matched the two of them. Adrien calling her "princess" all the time certainly helped. And he did still help those who didn't have a whole lot, just in different ways. Giving donations to charity and stuff was probably a lot easier than breaking into people's houses.

Adrien smiled as he remembered their old comparisons. He didn't steal much anymore. He had no need. Instead, when he had a lead on crime, he handed them over to police officers he trusted. Namely, Yang, Shadow or Sunshine. He didn't have to be the burglar, but he did have his suit in case he ever needed it again. He likely didn't. Yang was a wonderful officer.
"Well for now I'm more like the Q to your James Bond." he grinned.

Yang laughed. "Sunshine and Shadow would get a kick out of that," she said. She could just imagine the two of them making jokes about that, maybe Sunshine more than Shadow. Yang could already picture her singing the Mission Impossible theme every time they had a case together. People already noticed how the work place was a bit more cheerful when the two of them were in the same room. They were serious about their work of course, but they liked to look on the bright side of things. Sunshine especially lived up to that, hence why her nickname stuck so well.

"Shadow's already got a bit of Charlie's Angels going on!" Adrien teased. "You, Sunshine and... what's that other lady cop... Something water? But yeah! He's got plenty of female cops."
He would probably tease Shadow with him next time he saw the man. But Shadow had been busy of late. Working on something. At least that was what Adrien noticed. Shadow had been smiling less. But then again, he might still have been getting over the fact he had liked Sunshine but she married Riku. Adrien had gone to the wedding. Shadow seemed to be okay. Talking to someone new?

"It's Aqua," Yang replied. "You really think we could be a Charlie's Angels thing?" That was funny to think about. Although, considering that her, Sunshine, and Aqua were the only girls on the force, it was only natural for them to get close. She still remembered the three of them, plus Elsa, discussing Omar falling for Aqua and how she should at least give him a shot. Yang was glad she'd taken their advice. She and Omar seemed happy together. Heck, most of her friends who were in relationships seemed pretty content. And that was all Yang really wanted: for her friends to be happy. She just wished Shadow could get that same happiness.

"If you wanted to be, sure!" He laughed.
He would have to remember Aqua. He had never really spoken to the woman, but she was Namine's roommate. And Omar's current girlfriend. Since Namine and Omar were going to be a part of his life, he should put his best foot forward and get to know the important people in Namine's life. Apparently Yang's too since Yang knew her name. Still, he smiled. They had both come so far since they first met. He was once so lonely it hurt, now he was surrounded by friends, family and Yang.

"Maybe I'll run it by Sunshine and Aqua, see what they think," Yang said with a smile. It would be interesting to have a case that the three of them could work on together. Aqua had a lot of experience on her side, Sunshine had a unique way of looking at a situation, and Yang was skilled in fighting. They all had their different talents, but they could be pretty formidable if they were together. Or maybe they could just have a girls' night with corny movies, popcorn, and makeovers. That was probably simpler than handing a complicated case, and more fun too. She'd have to think about it.

"It'd be pretty funny if you didn't tell Shadow that." Adrien laughed. "Imagine the look on his face!"
He grinned. Sure, he liked Shadow. He honestly hadn't seen that one coming considering how they met when Chat Noir was out on a heist. Shadow was an unexpected friend. However, that did not mean Shadow was free from being pranked. Adrien liked jokes as much as the next person. If the girls all teased him and pretended to be his Charlie's Angels, Adrien would get a kick out of it.

Yang had to laugh at the mental image of that. It would be pretty funny. She wondered if Aqua would be on board for something like that. She seemed to be the more serious of the three. Maybe she'd have to find out. "I guess until Shadow gets a girlfriend, he'll just have to deal with us," she joked. She hoped he wasn't too bummed out while Sunshine was away on her honeymoon. Sure, he'd confessed his feelings and did like Riku, but it wasn't exactly easy to get over someone that you really liked. Yang had experience with that. When Adrien had left her in order to protect her, she'd never really gotten over him. If anything, him being away had made her realize that she'd fallen in love with him. Now, she just hoped that the same thing could happen to Shadow one day.

"Did you see him at Sunshine's wedding?" Adrien asked. "He was dancing with someone. That's a good sign, right?"
He wanted to see Shadow happy as much as Yang did. But Adrien doubted any meddling would help. He didn't want to try to force happiness on Shadow. Knowing the man he would take to it but not actually be happy if that were the case. No. It needed to be naturally kindled happiness. Bursting into a full blaze on it's own. Sure, he and Yang could nudge it in the right directions but the actions had to be Shadow's in the end.

"Oh, yeah, that was Jane," Yang said. She'd actually been surprised at seeing that. Although she couldn't deny that she'd noticed the two of them getting pretty close lately. It was pretty ironic, considering that Jane wasn't the biggest fan of cops. She always said Yang and Shadow were the only ones she was cool with. Could their friendship be developing into something else? She wasn't sure how likely it was, but if it did happen, she wouldn't object to it. In a way, they were much the same. They were fiercely loyal to those they cared about, and both could get pretty fierce when they were mad.

"So you know her? That's awesome!"
Adrien was all for Yang having more friends. She had really come along way since they first met. Sure she had friends back then, but they really stuck around when Yang needed them most. Adrien hadn't, but he was making up for that every chance he got. As for Shadow, the man was a good person. Adrien honestly wanted to see him happy, just as much as he wanted Yang and Namine to be happy. They deserved it. Good, kind people who had their tough lot in life, who deserved better than what they got.
"Think she likes him?"
