"I have an evidence bag, would that work?" Riku offered the bag and held it open for Sunshine to put the evidence in it. Constantine looked at it the paper closer, but it was too difficult to read what was said without putting his light dangerously close to the flame. "Well my dears, do you want me to lead you back to your cop quarters now? Or do we look through the mausoleums now?" Riku had enough and smacked Constantine as hard as he could in the back of the head. Constantine flinched and glared at Riku.
"Be respectful of where we are. The spirits are surely uneasy with you walking on their ground, being a demonic being and all" he hissed angrily at Constantine. Constantine raised his hands.
"Fine, fine. I'll try to hold my tongue"

A clue! For the first time in several hours, Yang's heart felt a bit lighter. If they could decode this, maybe it could lead them to Shadow, and possibly a way to put a stop to all this. Riku seemed to finally have enough of Constantine's remarks though, and gave him a good smack on the back of the head. Yang couldn't help but snicker at that, although Constantine's question did have some merit. Should they try to explore the graveyard and see what else they could find? Or should they head back with the clue they had and try to decipher it? "What do you think, Sunshine?" she asked. "Should we keep looking for anything else?"

"If what Constantine says is true and there are some demons lurking around, checking out mausoleums would be a good idea. There also could be some clues there, so keep your eyes open. We've investigated several demonic cults in the past down here. It wouldn't surprise me if there were several traces that lead back to Disparion," Sunshine mused. Without Shadow to help her, a lot of the detective stuff had to come to her. She didn't like the idea of going into a cemetery, especially if there were demons involved. She ignored the childish antics of Constantine and Riku, even if she didn't fully trust the pawn shop owner.

Yang nodded. "Okay. Mausoleums it is then," she said. She didn't like the idea anymore than Sunshine, but she could deal with creepy places if it meant finding more clues. And if there were any demons or other fiends lurking around, then they were just going to have to deal with her. She headed off in the direction of the mausoleums, keeping her eyes peeled for clues or anything that might try to harm them. Her hands glowed dully, ready to burst into flame at a moment's notice. Although the idea of facing some kind of monster wasn't too scary with Sunshine and Riku by her side. Constantine didn't exactly instill confidence in her the way they did.

"I'm not opposed to lookin, there are several lesser imps and demons that backed out of a good deal, I'd like my merchandise back" he caught a look from Riku and shrugged. "And seeing what they know about your friend is good too. Okay, let's go" he paused. "Who leads?" Riku sighed and shrugged.
"I'd offer but I'm not the best at diplomacy" Riku said.

"Then you two shouldn't lead," Sunshine said logically and with a small bit of bite. She twirled a strand of hair around her finger. While she lacked her more potent sun magic, she did have the moon gift Dorian gave her. She rarely used it, admittedly, but in a world of darkness, she had no real choice. Besides, she had Yang and Riku by her side. They'd protect her. Bravely, she took a stand by the half-phoenix, who looked ready to set stuff on fire. "Yang and I will lead since you two clearly prefer to spend time bickering."

Yang had to fight back a smirk. With everything going to Hell, quite literally, Sunshine getting onto Riku and Constantine for bickering was kind of amusing. Besides, with her glowing hair, Yang felt like the two of them made a nice deterrent for any monsters that disliked the light. Those that didn't...well, Yang would worry about that problem once they came to it. Focusing on the present was the best thing she could do right now. Worrying about the future would just make things more tense, and that was the last thing this group needed.

Riku sighed. He knew Sunshine was tense and worried about Shadow but still. Constantine smiled. "Sweetums, I promise not to fight anything that isn't of the demonic persuasion from hence forth. No more bickering" he laughed and his hand became engulfed in sickly blue-silver flames. "Now, lead on lovelies" Riku shot him a look but kept his mouth shut. Much as he hated to admit it, Sunshine and Constantine had a point, now was no time for bickering amongst themselves.
"If you need me to use the powders to go through locked doors-or just vanish the locks-I'd be happy to" Riku offered softly.

Sunshine's brow furrowed deeper at the nickname 'sweetums'. On the one hand, it was preferable to the nickname that had haunted her throughout her childhood, but it still annoyed her that Constantine was taking her authority far too lightly. But so long as the boys agreed to stop fighting, that was all she could ask for. They walked the cemetery together, a precession in yellow and blue-silver against the gray, red, and black of the cemetery. The tombstones and ashen bouquets started to blur into one another, looking exactly the same. Her husband asked about locked doors, and she nodded, her expression becoming somewhat lighter. "Keep the powders on standby," she said agreeably, dropping the edge in her voice. "We might need them to cover up anything. This paper shows that the professor liked to keep things hidden from prying eyes. All kinds of prying eyes, I should add."

The tension died down somewhat as the group walked, although Yang felt herself becoming lost in thought as she walked. She wondered what other secrets this cemetery was hiding. What else could Shadow have left them to help them? She honestly had no idea, and that fact made her feel a little uncomfortable. She'd felt like her and Shadow were close. At least, she'd thought so. He was a dear friend, practically family in her eyes. For a long time, he and Sunshine had been the only cops she'd trusted. But it looked like she didn't know him as well as she thought she had, and it made that uncomfortable feeling fester a little more inside her.

Sunshine sighed. With each row of the cemetery explored, the clues were becoming less and less noticeable. Until she paused at the building up ahead. She recognized that mausoleum that she and Shadow had stopped a sacrifice in. There was one detail that stuck out to her that always made her skin crawl. Over the stone doors was a red stone inlaid in a small carving. Upon further inspection, the carvin resembled...an eye. She felt stupid looking at it now.
It was Disparion's eye.
"This is it. This is where Shadow and I stopped some cult called Apocalypse Pupil years ago." Cult was a bit of a stretch. It was more drunk slash high teenagers dabbling in witchcraft they didn't understand. There had to be trace evidence in the summonings on how the professor got to talk to Disparion in the first place. His journal was gibberish, so it while it was a good lead, it was impossible to read. Sunshine pulled out her gun and fired several bullets. The lock rattled and clinked off, and the doors opened into a black void which stunk of burnt herbs and other things.

Yang snorted. "You'd think they'd come up with a name that didn't sound like every heavy metal band in the world," she joked. Still, she vaguely remembered that incident. She'd been on the streets at the time, but it had still been a much talked about topic for a while. Teenagers dabbling in magic they didn't understand was never a good thing, and could have messy results. Adeline was the result of that. Yang remembered her telling the story of how she'd summoned Thrax, and how she'd mainly done it just to prove that she was powerful enough to do so. The place still had a creepy vibe to it though, and once Sunshine got the door open, Yang stuck her flame-covered first inside, hoping to get a better view of the place.

Constantine grimaced, a snarl on his lips. "It smells like desperation, unfit offerings and black magic. Disgusting. Not to mention traces of drugs that shouldn't be in the hands of children" he stepped close to Yang and Sunshine, helping to brighten the interior. Riku pulled a doll out of his pocket and slipped life-giving energy inside it. It stretched and he set it down.
"Go little one, find out if there's anything dangerous in there" the doll looked at him and then walked bravely into the room. Nothing seemed to attack it right off. "If there's anyone in there, come out" Riku called.

"Tell me about it," Sunshine said with a trace of a laugh. The popular crowd amongst Bellerouge's tourists were slowly becoming the so called "edgelords", which were really misguided adults and teenagers thinking the dark arts understood them. When really, it was just people making dumb mistakes such as wearing black in the hot humidity of Louisiana. Yes, there'd be cold spells, but the heat never really went away. Some people like the young girl Adeline were able to get themselves out of the rut when things went too far. Yang stuck a flame inside to light the way as Riku sent a small doll to patrol the area. Smart move. The last thing they needed was to accidentally set off a booby trap. The orange glow of the fire lit the mausoleum walls. So far, there was nothing unusual except for the basics. Yet as Sunshine stared at one ceiling section longer, she gasped. A clawed hand was depicted with a bleeding wrist, dripping into a puddle. Next to it was a small crouched figure in the clawed hand, offering a fist forward. Next to it, the shaded figure sinking into a ouddnle as the eye rose like the sun, its tendrils embracing the entirety of the ceiling.
"Looks like some kind of prophecy," she decided. "Hmm...bleeding wrist, a possible confrontation...then the end of the world born from the end of the confronter...but what does blood have to do with it?"

Yang made a sour face. This place was creepy enough, but the unnerving art depicting some kind of prophecy was the real icing on the cake. Then again, she was in a cemetery. It wasn't going to be sunshine and rainbows out here. Still, she took a closer look, wondering if maybe this could be another clue. "Blood sacrifice maybe?" she guessed. "If this is dark magic, blood may be needed to start it or something." Of course, the amount of blood needed was also varied. Some spells required one drop. Others required all the blood in a person or animal's body in order to work. It was times like these that Yang was glad that her fire powers weren't this complicated. Shooting fireballs was a pretty simple thing.
